We were greeted by a kind lady at reception who took the time to show us Campbell River on a map and all the best spots to discover, which we appreciated as first time visitors. She offered us plates and cutlery if we wanted to take food away from a local restaurant. Our room was on the ground floor and was a good size, equipped with a coffee machine and a fridge. The view of the water was amazing. The motel was dated and modest but we felt that this added to the charm.

We had a couple of nights here either side of a camping trip. While dated in style, our rooms were clean and in good decorative order, with newish looking bathrooms. We had fantastic views over Discovery Passage, and even saw a humpback whale passing! They have additional equipment in reception that you can ask for, including crockery, cutlery, a toaster and even bear spray! We used the laundry, which was fine. I was hovering between 4 and 5 stars, but opted for 5 because of Lana, who welcomed us on both occasions and was so helpful. She gave us some ideas of places to visit. Elk Falls and Quinsam Hatchery were well worth it.

Schreckliches Bett, quietscht bei jeder Bewegung. Abgewohntes kleines Zimmer. Bei Regen gibts eine gratis Dusche von oben, wenn man die Zimmertüre öffnen will. Die Lage ist schön mit tollem Blick aufs Meer. Sehr gute Infos von freundlicher Receptionistin erhalten.

For the price, you cannot beat this view!!!! The view is literally ocean front! You are so close to the ocean and can sit outside with the tables that are right out your main floor room and relax. The are balconies on the higher 2 floors. This motel could use some TLC however.

Highly unprofessional individual behind the desk, the guy behind the desk came out to borrow smokes from me at the smoking area. And completely interrupted me and my crew as we were having a discussion.
No cable TV, no housekeeping.

De accomodatie is erg verouderd. Badkamer met name. Ik sliep aan de kant van het water op de begane grond. Het is een erg gehorig motel. Mijn kamer was wel schoon.
