Dalrachney Lodge

Absolutely wonderful hotel: all modern where it counts, but old-fashioned in its hospitality. Tracey and Steve run the hotel with enthusiasm, love for the business of receiving guests, common sense and tongue in cheek. And it shows, too! Great beds (with lovely duvets!), excellent towels, made-to-order breakfast and very good dinner. Rabbits and deer on the lawn. Very well laid-out golf course across the road. Excellent long walks from the front door.

What a great, historic lodge! The early 20th century building makes you feel the experience of the well-to-do hunting parties that came here a hundred years ago. The made-to-order breakfast (4 options) with the buffet of pastries, fruit, cereals and juices was wonderful! The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. We want to return already!

Thank you for making us feel so welcome and at home. We loved hearing about the history of the building. Such a perfect location to explore the beautiful Cairngorms, and an easy drive from Inverness airport. We’d love to visit you again in the not too distant future. Super friendly and helpful staff, and very clean! Also located in a peaceful neighborhood town. Their breakfast selection was quite delectable as well. The house itself has so much character and is very cool to look at. We were able to then to from there to the cairngorm national park.

What a wonderful 2 night stay we have just had, Stephen and Tracy made us feel at home, excellent accommodation and an outstanding breakfast. The hotel has a real Scottish charm with lovely furnishings and a well stocked whiskey collection at the bar !! Would highly recommend The Dalrachney Lodge !! We will return very soon

We had the pleasure of staying at Dalrachney Lodge for just one night, and we wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way—it's absolutely beautiful, immaculately clean, and wonderfully cozy. The owners were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel right at home. The photos online simply don’t do it justice! The breakfast was delicious, and the serene surroundings provided the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. We tend to be quite particular about where we stay, but we truly couldn't find a single fault this time. Additionally, they are planning to open a venue for weddings soon, which we're sure will be just as charming as the rest of the lodge. We highly, highly recommend Dalrachney Lodge—it's a hidden gem that you won't want to miss.

Dalrachney Lodge is stunningly located in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. The historic Lodge offers welcoming and comfortable common rooms as well as the beautifully appointed bedrooms. Steve and Tracey are wonderful hosts, responsive to guest needs in every way. They provide custom prepared breakfasts as well as delicious dinners on some evenings. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our visit and would happily return.

One of the best places we stayed in Scotland. Lovely big old house. Good sized room and bed. We had dinner in bar area with host Steve presiding. Good food and friendly conversation. Very good night’s rest. Very generous breakfast in lovely big dining room overlooking the grounds. Steve and Tracy shared the cooking and serving with both doing excellent jobs. As we were travelling by train, Steve picked us up from train and returned us when leaving. It is also a nice village for walking with quite a bit to see for a small place. Steve and Tracy are excellent hosts. Pleasant, fun conversationalists. We highly recommend this place.

My wife and I visited the Dalrachney Lodge on a jaunt through the Scottish Highlands. Everything was first-rate: the room, the public areas, the breakfast, and the one dinner we had there. And most of all, the owners, Tracey and Steve, were warm and eager to please - in other words, the consummate hosts. Our stay ranks not only as our best so far in Scotland, but as one of our best ever.
