Moved to room on 5th floor because original room was unmade and used. Had small ants all over our stuff when we awoke the next morning, on the FIFTH FLOOR.

Front desk Art was very professional. The Elephant Walk restaurant was closed for renovations. One of the elevators was out of order due to remodeling, but they had signs up for where the other elevator was. Room was nice and clean.Wish the lobby coffee station had separate creamer and sugar. Only option was a liquid combo of both together.

They took top dollar for a hotel that is under construction. Restaurant in hotel no staff, lousy food. Breakfast was way overpriced and again under staffed. Orange juice tasted like it was made with powder. They should return at least half of what I paid. There was nothing on the web site stating the conditions there.

No locks to the outside worked. Slept in an unsecured hotel. 1 door was ajar all night. Front desk was ASLEEP when I went for an explanation. Told me they never lock their doors! Manager’s mailbox was full. Later said corporate was aware the locks don’t work and asked what time it was when I told her the clerk was sleeping? Also said informing guests of locks would be too much for them to read. Waiting for a refund. Be aware.

Unsecured building. None of the keypads to the outside work. Door left ajar all night. People smoking something in the gazebo behind the building. Desk clerk ASLEEP when I went to express my concern. She responded that the doors are never locked? Mgr VM was full. When she showed up, she told me corporate was aware locks don’t work? I suggested she advise guests of the lack of security so they could make an informed decision regarding staying there and she said she could put it in the welcome letter but guests probably don’t want to read that much? Asked me what time it was when I told her the desk clerk was asleep? I understand the hotel is under construction, but security cannot be sacrificed. The managers responses were both disingenuous and stupid. I’m waiting for a refund.
