We had a quick stay in Cebu for 36 hours and we decided to stay at VG Pension because of its location. The accommodation is near some eateries and major tourist attractions. There's a laundry shop beside it and the staff there was friendly. We came at around 1pm and our private room was already ready. We booked through phone and sent a downpayment through online cash app. The staff were all so friendly and were always there to assist us. We even left our luggage for half a day and they were all helpful. The only negative thing I can say is the location which is somewhat scary if you are not used to seeing homeless people. But you can book a Grab to get in and out of the lodging.

I WOULD AND WILL STAY HERE AGAIN! Staff was great and friendly. Room was clean and the bed was comy. The staff really tried to stay on top of the bathrooms which were down the hall. Neighbored is poor and working class, but I never felt threatened or uncomfortable. I was able to get every where I wanted to go for $5.00 US or less. A fan would have helped the airconditoner during the day, but fine at night. IF you are a day sleeper, traffic is loud, (ear plugs provided) It was two blocks from the ferry which was important to me. The little eatery down stairs is very basic, but good simple very inexpensive food. Again super friendly people! Value for money was high for me.
