Extremely disappointed in the quality of this hotel. I only chose this one because the reviews were good, but they were clearly misguided. The bathroom door did not close all the way, so my business partner and I had no privacy when using the restroom, and the door itself was filthy and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. Additionally, the shower door did not seal when closed, so the entire bathroom floor became one large puddle, and the overall room felt dingy and uncared for. The check-in staff was improperly trained, and the breakfast was edible at best. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel.

Locked out of the room for over an hour until they finally figured out how to get it open. Missed an excursion due to this. No hot water in the ahower. Double charged for my room 3 days after and was treated rudely and lied to when i called to ask about it. Worst hotel experience ever.

Whenever my family visits Charleston we stay at the Sleep Inn at West Ashely. Its an affordable, clean, and comfortable option for us.

Check in person was nice but, once I made it to my room it was all downhill. From loud a/c to smelly and disgusting floors; This was the worst hotel room I have stayed in my entire life! Was looking forward to using the pool but, that was closed on Thursday, Friday and Saturday! If I had known that I would have stayed elsewhere. Didn’t get hardly any sleep because of all the noise from the people upstairs to doors opening and slamming shut. Bathroom was disgusting and sink had major draining issues. Shower was designed for a handicapped person and even with the shower blind completely closed water was all over the floor. Terrible condition of the entire room. No saving grace here at all! Even sent an email in and received no response. Will never ever ever stay at this POS hotel again!

Our room had a humidity issue where everything was wet - our towels didn't dry, the carpet was musty, etc. We asked for maid service which only happened on one day and they didn't make up the second bed.
