Among arrival, we noticed evidence of bugs, which was made known to the front desk. There was hair and stains in the shower and on the bed linen. The shower handle was malfunctioning, and the water pressure was not consistent. We spoke with the front desk clerk and the housekeeping directly in the early morning about having our sheets changed and the bathroom cleaned, on two separate occasions, and even into the afternoon it was completed. I tipped the housekeeping staff that I spoke to, just to motivate her and ensure that we received services, and we never did. When we returned in the afternoon and services weren’t completed, we had to change rooms because it’s the only accommodation there was to offer. Housekeeping left, after being tipped beforehand, without providing fresh linen for us to sleep on. Even after switching rooms, there was still evidence of bugs. The cameras didn’t work on the floor, so when we experienced a theft, there was no way the hotel staff could help us, not that they offered much help to begin with. Cameras needs to be fixed, whole place needs to be cleaned, and the staff needs more training on how to accommodate and take responsibility for not following up on guests requests
