This hotel is fine and offers great value for money. £125 including 16 nights Gatwick parking. We ate in the bar and the food was fine and sensibly priced. The room was comfy and tidy but basic. We would use it again for airport parking / overnight.

Went on a Caledonian 4day trip to Windsor and London. Stayed at this hotel which is in Gatwick area. Not expecting the best after looking at reviews. However what a pleasant surprise. Stayed in a renovated room 207 which was totally completed. New carpet, new bathroom fittings, new storage draws and clothes hanging area. The bar and restaurant had also been totally renovated with new flooring tables and seating. Both breakfast and evening meals were more than adequate with plenty of options. Staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. It is out of the way with no shops or bars so when staying for more than one night it would be good if some entertainment was provided. Overall I would recommend for anyone especially if you are staying because you have a flight from Gatwick.

The last time we were here was before Covid and yes it was a very tired cheap hotel. So our expectation wasn’t great, just hoping for a clean bed and somewhere super cheap to leave the car. Yes there is no lift, but it’s an old building so to be honest wasn’t surprised. But walking into our room we were very pleasantly surprised, super clean, new beds and furniture, new carpets , bathroom has been updated , for a cheap one night stay , we couldn’t be happier .

Booking car in and stayed there till 2am till went for our flight to lanzarote. Nice hotel but shame restaurant wasn't open that night. No lifts as I could see. Bar open that night. Which was good as football was on. Friendly staff comfortable beds. Nice view off planes taking off.

We arrived with real anxiety as the reviews were so bad. We were very pleasantly surprised. Is it the Ritz? No but it is not priced as the Ritz. Is it quiet? No, it is as noisy and any other airport hotel. Were we pleased with the staff and our room? Absolutely yes. The room was fully refurbished and fitted out with new everything (including a new bathroom). The staff were friendly and efficient. It has some way to go for the refurbishments to be complete, but ‘the worst hotel ever’ label is way off the mark

Worse airport hotel I have ever been in . Total joke no restaurant open. Rooms small and dirty. Furniture all outside. Home office been using it to home people. Car park like an obstacle course.Do yor self a favour definitely avoid. Not fit for purpose.

Well, the hotel has apparently just finished refurbishments and our stay on June 12th 2024 was one of the first (if not, the very first) booking to stay there. I'm not sure what they refurbished and to be honest, I wasn't there to see the decor anyway but what I can tell you is. There's no lifts - if you are coming from Gatwick and have lots of luggage, you may want to bear this in mind. It took 30 minutes for the reception staff to check us in (this required our signature and payment... 30 minutes!). We pre-booked a cot, of corse, there was no cot. We arrived at 2am after our flight so we waited 30 minutes to sign our names and check in, then another 30 minutes to find a cot... The cot arrived with no mattress... they gave us thin bed sheets instead - this does not pad out the thick metal bars that run across the bottom of the cot, therefore, the cot was not sufficient so this is not the place to stay if you have a baby. We spent 6 hours at this hotel, we just wanted somewhere to sleep after a long flight and before our drive back home to Bournemouth. I wish we had just drived straight home. Awful experience!!

This is the worst hotel I have stayed in Went to reception and the woman ignored us for ten minutes speaking to a builder Then said what do you want your to early you cannot book in till three when our email said two Then told to sit and wait because she could not find our booking Waiting an hour the manager showed her what to do and finally got our room It was upstairs no lift we are old and no help was offered to get our cases up so we struggled There was no restaurant no bar no nothing Views over gas tanks and sheds Middle of nowhere Twenty pounds each way to airport

Ignore all the comments made below! The hotel is almost finished with the refurbishment, so yes, you will see some workmen and paint but that’s it! Great staff, lovely bar with bar food and a restaurant opposite! Rooms are clean, freshly decorated and shower is gorgeous! A perfect spot to start of your holiday!!!
