I have stayed in this hotel so many times, but it is the first time that I am willing to give a 5-point rating. The experience of staying here is really good.
In terms of location, the surrounding environment is good, there is a lake and many restaurants. The area is about 40 square meters, and it is comfortable to stay here.
In terms of service, there is a special housekeeper to contact before check-in to inform you of the relevant check-in situation. Professional.
After check-in, many details are rare in so many hotels. The tool box, glasses cloth, band-aid, and hairpins for girls are placed at the elevator entrance, which is very considerate. The handrails are installed in the bathroom, and the washbasin has a heated towel rack. These details are in place. There are also check-in fruits and free bar drinks.
I stayed there for several days in a row, and there is a laundry room on the top floor, which is very convenient.
More importantly, the cost performance is too high. My colleagues and I recommend that you can stay here for business trips in the future.

Shirley Li Xiaoyue, the housekeeper of InterContinental, is considerate and caring! She took great care of me during my stay! She arranged a smoking room for me and invited me to have breakfast [sun][sun][sun][sun][rose]! Service [strong][strong][strong] I extended my stay today, and Shirley also arranged it for me! It's very convenient, just swipe your card at the front desk! This is a fantastic hotel in general. The staffs there are very hospitable and amiable, especially Sean at the lobby. He gave us some very practical tips about foods and what to do at the global mall areas.
What is unlucky is that it happened to have a electronic musical festival going on there at the water park. They have those heavy metal music going on and on until 10 pm. If you have kids with you I would suggest to avoid the music festival!
But the hotel itself is very comfortable.

Very satisfied with a stay, the surrounding environment of the hotel is very good, near Tianfu First Street, belonging to the center of the high-tech zone, you can also see the global center in the room, tired a day back to the room to sit on the sofa and drink some iced beer, take a look at the night view of the global center, too cold! The overall service attitude of the hotel is also very good. It is obviously a self-service laundry room. The room sister will also help me wash and dry the clothes and then send them back to the room. I am really touched that the room hygiene is also very good. It is very clean. After all, it is a big brand. You can close your eyes and rush. But I think the most cost-effective stay this time is their room facilities. I really like it. People who travel all year round can actually see Appelis in mid-to-high-end hotels. It is a familiar luxury five-star atmosphere and their bed is too comfortable. The fabric is very soft and falls in love directly. It is said that they will also hold some small celebrations on National Day. I look forward to staying, and I booked a few nights on National Day! !

The room is clean and tidy, the bed is very comfortable, and the bedding is of good quality. The room is quiet and the service is good. The most worry-free thing is the convenient transportation. There is a shopping mall downstairs, which meets the needs of eating. There is a subway a few dozen meters away, which goes directly to Tianfu Square Global Center. When you are tired of shopping, you can come back and lie down to rest. It's so comfortable.

The lady at the front desk was also quite enthusiastic. She would ask if I needed a parking ticket every time. The invoice was pretty good. The room was large and clean, and the decoration style was also very good. It was comfortable for young people to live in. The location was also good, and there was food downstairs. Chengdu became a trip to remember, especially because of my hotel accommodation at Nicesoe Hotel.
If you have an early return flight scheduled, this hotel is one of the best places you can find because of its proximity to the airport (roughly 20 minutes based on experience).
Dayuan subway station (Line 5) is also 12 minutes away if you are just walking. Meanwhile, Saiho Mall and Citywalk also offer some varieties for local shops and bars.
The service was also top notch for me. Shortly after the check-in, they got in touch by adding my WeChat and establishing the communication line. Through WeChat, they were able to check on me and offer assistance for much of what I needed for the duration of my stay.
When I started my holiday, I actually sprained my left foot and they were very generous in offering their ice packs so that I can treat my sprain.
In addition to these, they also suggested places of interest that I can visit around Chengdu.
My luck was on a roll and I won lots of toys in the lottery. Unfortunately, my luggage wasn't enough to bring them all. Thankfully, one of their personnel, Rose, assisted me in shipping them back to my home city.
The overall experience is amazing and I am totally satisfied with the services, plus the hotel room I got which was overlooking the city. If you are a first timer in Chengdu, I would really recommend this place! They are true to their word that they had posted in their basic information page: Any foreigner, of any nationality is welcome!

I originally booked a room without breakfast, but when I passed by the breakfast restaurant, I smelled a strange fragrance that forced me to go in and take a look. It didn't matter. I immediately paid for it with my husband and son. The restaurant was clean and hygienic, and many dishes (outsiders couldn't name them) were very unique and delicious. I wanted to stay for breakfast. The restaurant service lady saw that my family of three was so happy and took the initiative to ask if there was anything I needed to help deliver, so that I didn't have to wait. It was so considerate. This is service! This is what catering is!
The room is very warm, clean and hygienic. The elements of national treasures can be seen everywhere in the hotel. It is very good for taking pictures and checking in. You can see cats without leaving home.
Miss Sunny is beautiful and enthusiastic. Every time I see her, she greets me with a smile and calls my name very kindly. I like such employees very much, just like going home.
I like HYATT and stay in HYATT when I travel. This trip makes me more determined about the quality of HYATT.

2) Location is good because it is enveloped by a few famous narrow alleys selling handicraft, snacks, desserts, souvenirs, Chinese artwork etc, and have endless food stalls, coffee shops that surround the hotel, buzzing with activities all day till at least 11pm.
3) Hotel staff speak minimal English but they do understand it albeit not able to converse freely. Naturally using PTH is best.
4) Staff in the entire hotel are very friendly, courteous, pleasant and accommodating, trying to help in any way possible.
5) Bespectacled night manageress in a black suit was very welcoming and sweet. She offered to upgrade us when the room originally assigned for us was not as quiet as we had requested when we booked it. She led us to see the original one ( 2/F )and the other one ( the quieter one on 3/F ) and let us choose.
6) The upgraded room ( 3/F ) was a suite and it was really nice --- very quiet with courtyard view and tasteful lay out.
7) Cannot praise enough for the delightful suite -- spacious and elegant ; super clean ; smells nice , refreshing and just right not overwhelming ; white crispy bed linen ; daily turn down service; endless supply of fresh bottled water on daily basis ; spotless tumbler and fresh bottle of water by the bedside table every evening; everything you touch is spotless ; wooden flooring matching Chinese wooden furniture in simple design giving out this classy Chinese feel ; free to consume anything for the 1st time in the mini bar ; tea & coffee replenished daily ; kettle and coffee machine; free stationery like scissors, stapler, clips, pencil and pens etc; toiletries like vanity set, combs, toothbrush etc replenished daily ; spacious bathroom with double wash basins and clean white towels ; wash basins in rose gold but not tacky; shower drainage not smooth on 1st night but they fixed it and no prob thereafter ; water pressure from shower was good and plenty of marble top inside shower room for your own toiletries ; bathtub with fresh rose petals on 1st night and various types of bath salt ; big screen to watch telly while in tub ; separate toilet near living room; ample wardrobe space and power operated blinds and black out blinds. They provide steam iron on request but it would be better to have a proper flat iron if you want to press pants and other thicker harder material. Steam iron is only good for silk or plain cotton. Even linen is better with a flat iron.
8) This is a 100% Chinese ambience hotel from lobby to our suite but nothing is gaudy or ostentatious because everything is simple, no fuss, low-key, very clean, good architecture, functional and all colour combo is soothing to the eyes.
9) We ate at their restaurant the 1st night and food was ok -- dan dan noodles slightly overcooked so it was a bit mushy. Fried rice was a huge serving with fresh shrimps and nicely cooked. Tea could be hotter. Service was attentive, efficient and proper.

LLvsezhiziI stayed for two nights during the May Day holiday and was very satisfied! First of all, it is worth recommending that the service attitude is very good, and it takes all aspects of the guests into consideration. It makes guests feel at home, and the service is far better than that of a five-star hotel. Secondly, the environment is very good. It is located between two mountains full of bamboo forests. The garden design is great, and it has its own mountain trail and tea pavilion developed on one side of the mountain. The kids had a lot of fun playing in the garden and on the mountain trail. The room is a large Japanese tatami style, including goose*stone slabs in the room, which the kids love very much. Breakfast is served one by one, with a unique style. Dinner is a standard meal, very rich, and also suitable for kids. It's a pity that it rained for two days and I didn't see the fireflies. I will come to see the fireflies in July~

CChrissy_HankMy boyfriend and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Chengdu Panda Garden during our visit to Chengdu. We were really impressed with how beautiful the hotel was and how friendly the staff was. Upon check-in, they upgraded our room to a very spacious panda room, and I must say, the view from our bedroom window was immaculate. The hotel provided a shuttle to go to the Panda breeding park. My only disappointment was I didn’t stay long, as our visit to Chengdu was short. Despite the hotel's location, I will highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chengdu. I really love my stay, and I will definitely be staying back here when I revisit Chengdu.

JJaneyyy89This resort is nothing short of amazing and I would definitely rate this resort 10/10! I have a young toddler aged 18MO & elderly parents above 70YO during this stay and we absolutely loved our stay here. Value-for-money (we stayed during off-peak season, weekday, about RMB1000/night for our original room type), relatively new, clean & big rooms.
Some noteworthy details:
- Service is top-notched. Staff were friendly & very helpful. We could see that they really put in their heart into the work they do. They even gave our little one a panda toy & she loves it - a really nice gesture by the resort.
- The resort is located at Jintang, a hot spring precinct. With Trip.com, we booked the hotel bundle/package and it was fantastic. The key items in the package include:
(a) A free strawberry picking experience at a nearby humble farm called 许姐草莓采摘. Each booking entitles you to 500g worth of strawberries (transport at own expense, only about RMB10 by Didi). The strawberries were big and juicy, we were lucky cos they are in season now!
(b) 40-min Himalayan Salt Therapy/Bath for 1 pax/room
(c) Outdoor hot spring experience for the whole family (my 18MO loves it too!). There are many pools to choose from & we could find one which was not too hot for our baby. This is otherwise chargeable from RMB228/pax to RMB468/family of 2A1C.
(d) Bicycle rental, but we didn’t try it as it was too cold.
- Resort looks amazing, both indoors & outdoors! There were a number of activities for children to enjoy too but our naughty one is too young to appreciate it. Older kids will love them.
- We also loved the hotel’s concept of having complimentary bottles of distilled water etc. which is really important to us as we needed a lot of water for our baby’s food. This meant that that we did not have to go to the trouble of finding a supermarket, which is quite a distance away.
- We managed to snag a free upgrade to a Spring 2-Bedroom Villa due to our Accor Gold membership & it’s low peak season. All villas come with private pool - ours was available both on L1 & L2.
- Hotel uses quality furnishing & Toto toilet, definitely a plus. Water pressure is great too.
- We had all our meals at L’Orange as there are no nearby eateries & our time is limited due to our baby. The steamboat set is pricey but highly recommended! The fish & lamb meat (can be changed to beef at diner’s request) were fresh & really good. We liked all the other meat dishes too except for the dumplings. If you have Accor Plus membership, the usual discounts are available too. The hotel breakfast is also at the same restaurant. Breakfast selection was good even though there were not many guests.
Areas of improvement:
- Resort was able to provide a baby cot for our 18MO. However, the mattress was a little hard & the cot was creaky, it kept our baby awake.
- The air-con ventilation vents are directly above the baby cot and it became too cold for our baby in the middle of the night. Couldn’t adjust the temperature no matter what. The staff managed to made it warmer the following night but it resulted in some loud noises, probably issues with the damper.
- Rooms can be a little cleaner (e.g we saw dust balls on the floor).

WWen KaiGreat and convenient location, to the point we extended another night stay. Only 200m to People's Park station, subway Line 2, which can connect you almost anywhere. Able to walk to People's Park and Kuanzhai Alley, even Tianfu Square if you can walk 2km. Also have a convenience store available downstairs of the same building, and Hong Qi store if you walk a bit further. Many tour agencies are on the opposite road, where you can book day tours. The tour bus pickup and drop off points are also only around 1km from this building, easy to walk to due to the extra-wide sidewalks. It's facing the main road so you can easily get taxis as well.
The building is easy to locate, but the check in counter is more confusing to find. When looking in from the main road, the convenience store is on the left, so you need to go to the opposite side of the convenience store. You need to walk to the back of the building and find the entrance facing the wall with a car park boom gate. There is a security guard and there are lots of online delivery boxes. Then, access the elevator and the reception is on level 26.
There was a washing machine and detergent available in our unit, which we utilized. Other than the clothes hanging bar in the kitchen, the rest of the unit lacked places to hang things such as wet towels. It was a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom unit with another queen bed in the living room. Hot water was always available though you have to fiddle with the lever and wait some time. The kitchen only had a water kettle and a few mugs. There's a primary school right beside the building and you can hear the students every weekday morning. (My photos were taken just before checkout so don't mind the mess)
The owners are an exceptionally friendly couple who are hardworking and provide excellent service. They are open to feedback and we've told them what we think was lacking in our unit. Hopefully they will implement the small improvements. They also recommended a few restaurants to us that had good local food and were reasonably priced.
Recommend to add them on WeChat prior to arrival and communicate your arrival time. They wait at the front desk past midnight if they don't know the guest's check in time. However, they can only communicate in Mandarin, so you may face some difficulty.

GGuest UserA very clean and good service hotel, every hotel crew is super friendly. Feel welcome here, the location is great just near the shopping area. Walk straight for 10 minutes then u can spot the famous IFS panda, super convenient. Although it is located at city but cannot here any sound at all! Super comfy bed as well. Btw, they even gave us the super cute panda headband on the day we left.

The hostel was provided self service laundry stations on the rooftop, and it was quite cheap (around 18rmb++)
Reception was friendly especially Lucy, she helps me switch to single room due to I'm not familiar with sharing rooms with strangers 👀
I chat with them with a Chinese Guy until 6am morning walao eh hahah🤣😂

SSoloWondersI’d say the hostel has a youth vibe and rooms with windows are spacious. Cleanliness could be improved big time as well the messiness in the hallways - apparently the hostel is being renovated so many debris can be spotted accumulated down the hall.
Location close enough to the Temple and Monastery complex and to an amazing restaurant street with delicious Chengdu food.
Make sure you buy water before coming in and select rooms with windows otherwise you may be assigned one that’s has none.

HHana moriThe hotel name is rather deceiving. When I booked, I thought it was IHG's Holiday Inn, but it's actually not. The location is somewhere in the middle of a village near the airport, but luckily they provided free airport pick up service (For international tourists, it's best to get a local number to call the hotel). Due to construction works nearby, the distance to the airport took longer than expected. But, overall the stay is okay as the room is nice and comfy.
