Hotel Dell'Orto

Nice, comfortable and well-served location. A few steps from the railway station, clubs and the historic center. Unfortunately breakfast is no longer served. You have to go to the pastry shop on the ground floor and queue like a normal customer of the café. There is no room reserved for hotel users. What you can order is limited. No eggs and bacon or cured meats or cold cuts. No cheeses. Only desserts or a ham and cheese toastie. There is reserved parking (one place only) at 15 euros per night. A service that is too expensive. The alternative is a free public parking according to the manager of the hotel 350 m away. In reality there are 700 of them. The acoustics of our room were terrible. The headboard of the bed adjoins the bathroom of the neighboring room. Even the words spoken could be distinguished.

Sono stata a fare colazione nella loro caffetteria. La pasticcceria è buona ma si mangia assieme ai piccioni. Molto sporco. Non c’è servizio al tavolo ma almeno dovrebbero pulire e sparecchiare. Merita per la qualità e la bontà delle brioche ma non si può sedersi al tavolo con la sporcizia. Peccato.

Ottima posizione, le camere sono in linea con quanto presentato. Frigobar vuoto, personale poco professionale per l'accoglienza in un hotel, che deve dividersi tra un bar pasticceria e la reception. Il servizio in camera in pratica non lo fanno perché il personale è impegnato al bar. Manca il servizio di portierato notturno.

I went to this hotel with my partner during the Christmas holidays. Excellent location in the historic center, a stone's throw from the sea and close to the station. Beautiful rooms with spacious and new bathrooms, excellent cleanliness, excellent hospitality and a pastry bar where you can taste really good Ligurian specialties. Excellent experience that I recommend and will certainly repeat, thanks to all the staff for a lovely holiday

Amazing hotel! I have stayed several times at the Hotel dell'Orto and it has always proven to be the best. Extremely courteous staff, excellent cleanliness, rooms furnished with a lot of style, breakfast takes place in the pastry bar located inside the structure, and what can I say: impeccable! I recommend everyone to try the Delizia, it's wonderful. The products are all made by the pastry shop itself! The bar staff were also very friendly! The structure is also located between the cathedral and the town hall, and is located both near the historic center and near the sea, in short, very convenient. I recommend everyone to go there!

Good morning. One star review! Communication is of fundamental importance so that a customer can feel truly satisfied with the service received. In fact, the owner didn't even remotely allow himself to tell us what we would have to pay in addition to the price of the room! Furthermore, as if it hadn't already been sufficient in itself, he didn't even bother to inform us that with just €10/person we wouldn't be able to enjoy an "unlimited breakfast", but rather a very simple and miserable drink at the bar. ! On a communication level it's really less than zero! Furthermore, ironically, in the morning we were not even welcomed at the reception by the slightest human semblance... I understand that you are suffering from a hypothetical and apparent "period of crisis", but at least try to put yourself in a position to invest a minimum of your income in the hiring of highly qualified, professional and competent personnel, but above all who know how to demonstrate their ability to convey a minimum sense of cordiality, hospitality and respect towards others! I will certainly never set foot here again for the rest of my days, that's for sure! €142.20 literally thrown to the wind! We were at the hotel bar around 7pm, for a long time nobody considered us, then my husband came in and asked for a juice and a Campari soda, at least another ten minutes passed before they brought us the drinks, the Campari considered an aperitif, it arrived without even a chip, and they charged us €8! Shocked! Avoid!

I went to this hotel on a group trip and found the service terrible: non-existent breakfast room, you basically order a cappuccino and broche at the counter together with external customers, queuing at the counter. Extremely rude staff, almost annoyed while serving you, they don't even do table service. There is also no night reception (we had to bring the keys with us risking paying €50 if we lost them). The only point in favor, clean rooms and central location, very close to the station. I recommend the Stella del Mare hotel, a stone's throw from the Hotel dell'Orto but much better organized and with a rich breakfast buffet.
