The Gwen, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Michigan Avenue Chicago
4.5/599 Reviews
Downtown Chicago
We wanted to love this hotel. It’s the 2nd time we stayed here. But there are LOTS of rules. If you buy champagne in the lobby from the Moët & Chandon vending machine (which is awesome), you can’t sit at the bar and drink it. You can only sit in the lobby. The outdoor rooftop terrace never seems to be open - even though that’s one of the main reasons we picked this hotel. The hotel claims it is new but the rooms clearly show it was a different hotel before. Yes they changed the furnishings but the doors, baseboards, and door frames are old and bashed up. We expected a lot more from a Marriott Autograph Collection.
Residence Inn Chicago Downtown Magnificent Mile
4.7/55 Reviews
Downtown Chicago
The hotel location is very good, turn right when you go out to Michigan Avenue, walk a few hundred meters to the Michigan Bridge, the street view is beautiful, the shops are quite convenient, the room's warm orange color is very warm, there is Hermes's hurry, hahaha, door service The students are also very nice. The room service was ordered twice for breakfast and I was full. In short, I lived right. I have the opportunity to go to Chicago and choose this one.
Thompson Chicago by Hyatt

The Thompson is a very nice hotel in a great location. I will stay here again the next time I visit Chicago. It is very convenient to shopping, dining and the beaches. Easy walking distance to the Magnificent Mile. 10 out of 10!
