Sandals Halcyon Beach All Inclusive - Couples Only

We can home just over a week ago and are still smiling about our whole experience at Halcyon Beach. We got married at Halcyon 25 years ago, and retied the knot 25 years to the day, on the same beautiful gazebo. The General Manager Della Johns is just the loveliest lady and really takes time to talks to guests, she makes sure everyone is enjoying the holiday. You can tell she's brilliant at what she does because her great management reflects how the resort is, and how the staff are. Halcyon has beautiful clean grounds. Lovely rooms, the beds are so comfortable. I loved the dipping tub on our balcony. The staff are caring and provide an amazing service. The Red Lane Spa staff are brilliant at what they do, Isma was awesome at mine and my friend’s hair, she did exactly what we wanted, our pin ups lasted all day and night. The food is excellent, we loved all the restaurants, especially Kelly’s. Francis was brilliant and made our 25th wedding/retie the knot meal perfect, he was great fun to talk to. Jenny, who helps provide the entertainment was so much fun. The wedding planning team are very tentative, they really want to make sure the day goes perfectly. Our wedding planner was Shandulla, she really made us feel special and made sure everything went to plan. Our wedding cake was honestly the nicest cake I have ever tasted, lots of options to pick from and we went for my favourite which is carrot cake, we opted to have the coconut cream with it and wow! I don’t think I’m ever going to like carrot cake as much now that I’ve tasted that!! Jayden in the Bayside restaurant just made me smile every time we saw him, he just has the biggest smile for everyone and was so nice. The bar staff, really looked after us, especially Ryan at the pool bar. The resort is tranquil and quiet, and the beach is lovely. Halcyon is just Paradise! As the Sandals song says…I’ve (we’ve) had the time of our lives!!! Thank you to all the staff at Halcyon who contributed to making our holiday, 25th wedding anniversary and retie the knot service just perfect.

This resort was the most amazing resort I’ve ever been at it is very comfortable. The team members are very, very pleasant and are just phenomenal. I was very accommodated. The food was amazing. The people are amazing. The accommodation was comfortable. If you ever get the chance to meet Vanessa from the Spa please book with her , she is an amazing woman. We also enjoyed water aerobics and lounging at the pool. We also enjoyed Halcyon and Friends for night entertainment .

Just back from a wonderful stay at this gem of a hotel. The room was beautiful, Joli beachfront room 902, the grounds are lovely and beautifully kept and it is a small and very friendly hotel. You can also use the facilities of the other two sandals sites with the free shuttle, which we tried but always returned happily ‘home’ Friendly is an understatement, we didn’t meet anyone that was not pleasant, helpful, always with a smile and they couldn’t do enough for us - far too many to mention but the staff in the bayside restaurant deserve a special shout out as does the lovely lady who serviced our room (902) I’m sorry but I can’t recall her name but such a lovely friendly lady A very special shout out to our wonderful butlers, Rea, Vito and Pluta. What a wonderful warm and amazing team you are. You made us so welcome, spoilt us with treats and surprises, the bed you made up for us on the balcony ❤️❤️. We left for home feeling like we had made good friends with you all and we can’t wait to come back, thank you one and all. Save our spot under the almond tree on the beach for us

Sandals Halcyon Beach, like other Sandals properties, is as pristine in person as it is on the web site. It is a smaller resort with a quiet, relaxed atmosphere that makes it a truly rejuvenating experience. The staff are warm and kind, the pools, restaurants, and other amenities so pleasant that you will treasure each day, and be quite reluctant to leave. The bartenders at the pools are always fun and engaging. Sarah Lee at Kelly’s Dockside restaurant is warm and welcoming, a real treat during what promises to be a very good meal. The employees in the jewelry shop, Leesha and Daicia, are so friendly and helpful, but never at all pushy. They make the shopping experience very pleasant. Take the boat excursion with Wendy for a real treat. It is an amazing way to see more of the island, as well as enjoying scuba or snorkeling. Wendy is so sweet you’ll want to hug her at journey’s end. Take the opportunity to meet Della John, the General Manager, during your stay. She is a treat, and does an amazing job making the resort so memorable. Make plans to stay at Sandals Halcyon Beach and you’ll never regret your decision.

Stayed at Halcyon Beach Resort in September for two weeks for my Husband's 60th Birthday and our Anniversary I couldn't fault much there. There was a few little things that could improve meals in the Bayside was a bit hit and miss Bethalina was excellent very intentive and couldn't do enough for you such a credit to your work force a really lovely lady. Spent most of our days on the Beach would be nice to have more comfortable beds all these small changes would make it a nicer place Mikkcala (I think I may have spelt her name wrong) She was always there for refreshments for us and other quests also a credit to your work force making sure we was ok. Wasn't able to get into Kimonos one visit in two weeks. The food was excellent there. Maybe a Ice-Cream Parlour would be nice to have there as everyone likes a ice-cream.

Sandals Halcyon was amazing. The staff was great and we even got to know several of them by name. They took such good care of us!! There was a variety of food and entertainment every day!! Would highly recommend!!

We celebrated our 30th anniversary with 3 other couples doing the same. We had a lovely stay. The staff was attentive. There were a couple of minor hiccups but the staff made up for them with extra accommodations. Della, we thank you and your staff for making our stay memorable. The property is very nice and wasn't crowded so if you are looking for a more laid back resort, this is it. If you want something more lively or opulent, take the shuttle to the Sandals Grande. Halcyon could use some more beach chairs and maybe an ice cream stand. Note that if you get any spa service, you will pay the service fee and a service charge upfront but not the tip, which you have to pay after the service. You should also be aware that Sandals puts a $2/day contribution to the Tourism Enhancement Fund on your final bill. Not a deal breaker at all but just good to know. We would go back again.

Having never stayed at an all-inclusive resort, I have nothing to compare it to. Do generally feel like we paid 5 star pricing for a 3.5 star resort. Learned through visiting the other two resorts that Halcyon is the smallest of the 3. I personally liked Grande the best but to each their own. September is in the rainy season so it did rain each day but there was more sunshine than rain; the rain did limit our ability to see a waterfall (safety) and snorkeling (visibility) but also made other things fun (mud baths, ATV off road). Pros: Massage (shout out to Zenith for the best massage I’ve ever had!), beach access, tours (did captain of the day and ATV), butlers Learie and Silvie, landscaping/natural beauty, St. Lucians’ attitude about life, small enough resort to not need a shuttle within the resort Cons: Food was hit or miss, food similar from resort to resort, hot tub jets didn’t work, didn’t have access to tennis or table tennis, kind of older (but clean) infrastructure of buildings that could use updating, solicitors on the beach

Just returned from an 8 day stay. Such a beautiful place. Kelly’s was by far our favorite restaurant. That view is amazing and the food was incredible. Bayside was ok, typical buffet with food not always hot. However the staff was excellent. All restaurants seemed understaffed but the ones there were working really hard. The Sushi at Soy was the best I have ever had! Resort really needs a “ snack bar” or ice cream shop or something. Or muffins and breads left out by coffee machines. The oatmeal cookies were good. We were told to meet at 11 the day after our arrival for a tour of the resort, however no one ever showed. We didn’t receive a welcome packet or anything. We had to call EVERY day to replenish water, soda, coffee, cream and cups. Would clean room but never left coffee cups or clean bathroom cups. We called one time because our room was never cleaned and a “supervisor” came and said she was helping out that day because the staff that did our room was out sick. I get that, it happens. I feel with the money we spent- our room should always be stocked and clean cups brought. We had $150 resort credit which I was told could be used towards gift shop or excursion. However at check out, was told it was only for spa or pictures. Had I known that- I could have used the spa. We booked an excursion thru the desk specifically so we could use the credit. We LOVED the island and all the people we met. The vendors on the beach were great and not pushy at all. Resort grounds are beautiful and well kept. Our room was nice and the bed was comfortable. It was a well needed get away to a beautiful place.
