The Zwartmodder room for couples is very comfortable, and Zwartmodder is very well located for views of the surrounding mountains and access to the village of Clarens. The garden is lovely and the hostess is very hospitable.

We had a fantastic stay at Zwartmodder. The owner Marlise was great with her communication, care to detail and making sure all was in order for our arrival. The rooms were neat and clean with very comfortable bedding and the complimentary waters, rusks, sherry, milk and other snacks were most welcome. The manicured garden is amazing and we certainly felt we had made the right choice in staying there. Would highly recommend.
