There are not many Puerto Rico hotels to choose from on Ctrip, and the reviews are limited. Most of them are reproduced on booking. This hotel was chosen at random based on price and location. The hotel is quite old, the rooms are not big and clean, ten minutes drive from the old town, and there are some seaside highway scenery along the way. The hotel has two small swimming pools, which are mainly used to bring baby water. The beach in the hotel is very close, and a nice evening walk. Nearby restaurants, supermarkets, and Star Dad are available. There is a Chinese restaurant opened by Cantonese. The dishes are generally large but expensive, and three people eat ninety dollars quickly. Not recommended if there is no obsession with Chinese food. Breakfast at the hotel is not bad. If the requirements are not high, it is okay to eat enough. After all, the old breakfast is simple. After staying for two days, I got up to prepare for a bath the next day and found that there was no hot water. The parking lot is huge, $ 17 a night.

Went to this hotel this morning to enjoy breakfast like had on Sunday morning (Very Good) while charging my phone and waiting in the lobby A Gentlemen Named “Melvin” hotel staff member (refused to give me his last name ) said to me in a very arrogant manner that I could not sit down n the lobby area that’s was completely empty bc I was not a guest at the hotel. Mind you that I’m waiting for a friend to have breakfast. I proceeded to the bar area to order some breakfast bc apparently you can be on the property if your not consuming I ordered breakfast. Feeling completely humiliated and uncomfortable about the Melvin’s additude and approach towards me I ask the bar tender what the gentleman last name. Melvin noticed I pointed to him and proceeded to walk over to me and say we have you in observación if I don’t like what I see I will kick you off the property. I felt completely disgusted/ and humbled by the way Melvin spoke to me that is not how you treat a paying customer. Management needs to do better there are ways to communicate a message or policy without being rude and be littling another human being.

The hotel is 13 dollars from the airport by taxi, the price at midnight
The hotel facilities are simple and economical, the hot water on the second floor is not hot, which is a problem
The breakfast is too simple, which is a problem, only bread, butter, coffee, and some fruits
And the sound insulation is not good, it is quite noisy
It is a tourist city, people come in and out in the middle of the night
The foreigners are free and open, chatting in the middle of the night, and the front desk is still on the phone in the middle of the night
The only advantage is that it is a few minutes walk to Conado beach, the sea is very turbulent, many people are sunbathing in bikinis, **, body, surfing, it is said that it was only two days ago
There are many food shops and gift shops nearby,
There are Chinese, sushi, Puerto Rican food, etc.

兔兔兔猴Ctrip is also enough. Originally, I had already set a room on Booking. I saw that Ctrip was a lot cheaper, and I retired the Booking. However, the so-called sea view room that was given to the store through Ctrip is a room in a room, and the TV wall of the other room is the bedside of our room. The TV and other sounds in the next room are clearly heard, which seriously affects sleep. The next day, I can only change the room. It is not the balcony room with sea view. I had tossed for a long time before and after changing rooms, and I was still in a bad mood. At the same time, the check-out also received a 142 knife ”Hotel Tax”. This tax order is not available, can you return it?

GGuest UserRooms were ok… nothing out of the extraordinary but it had a weird smell to it. The location is nice, it’s near condado area almost everything walking distance. AWFUL service. Since we came in we had problems to check-in and confirmed our reservation had the late check-out at 1pm since it was included. We had Late Check-out included and when we were about to check out, we told the lady at the front desk that our check out was at 1pm. She looked at us and said no it’s at 12pm but with a bad attitude. Then I told her that our stay had included the late check out. She then said with the same very bad attitude, “well if you said that at first”. Then my partner said well there’s a problem with organization because we said that at check in and she confirmed it. She then responded with even more attitude… “No the problem is communication” Honestly for being a “Hotel” it had a horrible customer service. Not recommended at all if you want a pleasant vacation.

DDream37415253045This was our first stay in this newly renovated “sister”hotel to the Condado Plaza Hotel across the street. I can easily say that this was the best Hilton Garden Inn I have stayed in. The location is just as you cross into the Condado section of San Juan heading east from the cruise ship terminals or at the end if heading from the airport (a $24 taxi ride). It’s a bit quieter than the heart of the Condado. The entire hotel is gleaming— a beautiful airy lobby that opens into the pool area, a breakfast restaurant, and a bar area. We lucked out on an upgrade to a high corner room with panoramic views of the ocean (picture attached) with a wrap around balcony. The room was nicely appointed and definitely upgraded from the previous property. This will be our new favorite when passing through San Juan on the way to adventures beyond. The only negative is the street noise on the side of the hotel but it was balanced by the view in my humble opinion— the view from the other side is of the lagoon also very nice.

I am a very patient and friendly person who has worked in the service industry and understands how important it is to be nice to hard-working people. At breakfast, I watched three tables come in after me, get serviced, and receive their food before I even got a cup of coffee brought to me and had my order taken. I finally had to go to the waiter stand and ask for my bill so I could pay in leave. Our room never got serviced for cleaning for an entire day even though we were out of the room from early morning till 4 o’clock. I just went to the bar and sat and was ignored by a waiter who helped people on either side of me. I finally got up and left after 30 minutes of saying hello, making eye contact and basically got ignored. I am checking out early and heading to another hotel. I had booked a full week here at the Ocean club. They seem to cater to everyone else around. Perhaps they do not want to encourage white middle age guys staying here. They may want to cater to the younger European crowd.

GGuest UserThe staff rated an A++ and saved my trip to PR.. No thanks to airline cancellations, both my arrival and departure were delayed. Thankfully, the front-desk staff was super helpful in arranging my accommodations, esp when I had to spend an extra night in PR. The hotel is in a very good location, just off the beach in Condado - thus it's not quite a beach hotel. It is very quick from the airport and literally across the street from the beach. There are many restaurants nearby (and bars) but the nearest supermarket is about a 15-minute walk (there are convenience stores / pharmacies nearby). It's also very close to the ”lagoon” - a nice place to walk. The hotel itself is nice, nothing fancy. I had two different rooms - the AC was a little noisy in one of the rooms, but both ACs worked very well (important in hot / humid PR). There was no external noise but there is a little internal noise (doors opening, e.g.). The rooms are very well cleaned (and disinfected) and the fridges, irons, showers all worked well. The WiFi was very good in both of the rooms. There were plenty of outlets for recharging. Breakfast was average. The coffee was very good. They have different pastries each day and some of them were very good. The price was pretty good for the area, but Condado runs on the expensive side. I would stay here again.

YYIXINThe starting point of Condado beach has its own beach and swimming pool, the hotel lobby is modern and the bay view is beautiful. There is no option to include breakfast in the booking. You can only add it to the hotel. The breakfast buffet is small, and the taste is more suitable for Americans. However, there are 24-hour fast food restaurants nearby, Starbucks, the best Chinese restaurant new taste. The front desk is polite and the pool security is polite.

LLollysLookWe spent one night here before a cruise. The hotel was clean and basic. They have one small elevator so be prepared to wait. It is a short walk to the beach, through a rough neighborhood. be alert at night. A rooftop area has pretty views with comfortable seating. There was no bar, but local stores do sell alcohol, so we purchased a few bottles of wine and beer to enjoy the sunset. Here on the rooftop they serve morning coffee and a continental breakfast.
