Evergreen Motel

This family owned hotel was conveniently located 20 min. from the West Apgar Village entrance to Glacier NP. We had a very late arrival due to delayed flights, so the owners clearly sent directions for checking in. The room was cozy, roomy and comfortable for the 3 of us. It had 2 QB, a microwave and full size fridge and private bathroom. The owners gave us options of what to do in area on a rainy day. The owners gave suggestions of where to pick up t-shirt and souvenirs in Hungry Horse which was only about 15 minutes from our hotel, and less expensive than the shops within the park. We were also able to replenish our groceries in Hungry Horse. There is a lot to see in the area of West Glacier but our 5 day stay had us enjoying the NP as our top priority.

We stayed in a regular room for 3 nights and was very pleased. The rooms are older but clean, beds comfortable, our room had a large frig and microwave with a lot of towels. Host is very nice and helped us with any questions we had. We enjoyed our stay. No problems.

We stayed here after staying one night at the Swan River Inn, and oh how I wish we had skipped that place and just stayed here for two nights. The owner let us check in extra early, the room was spotless, the fridge/freezer was nearly full size - so we could empty out our cooler and refreeze all our ice packs. The only detractor was the AC was a little loud, and with it turning on and off all night it disrupted our sleep a bit. If there was one upgrade I would recommend it would be replacing that with some modern mini-splits, but I'm not sure they can do that in that climate. If you stay here, consider whether you can get by with bringing a fan and turning off that AC entirely - it's cool enough at night outside most of the year. It's a family run place and felt very welcoming. Our friends also got a cabin which was also very nice and had a little private deck.

The room was what you expect and close to the park entrance. The only problem I had was wi-fi didn't work and I needed it to make reservations and explore what to see at the park the next day. The owner said wi-fi couldn't handle the number of users. But i woke up at 4 AM and still could not get any. If Wi-Fi is not important, then a good stop-over

We stayed in cabin 3 and it was perfect for our family of 4. Great use of space with 3 beds - 1 queen, 2 doubles. Plenty of clean towels and hot water - a necessity after long days of hiking in the park. The small kitchenette set up was nice too. I highly recommend the Evergreen Motel if you are looking for somewhere clean, affordable, comfortable, and convenient to Glacier NP. Thank you!

We wanted to have a real Montana experience and be close to glacier national park and this is it. We have a cottage as it’s bigger than a cabin in my way of thinking. Manager is very friendly and helpful. We’d come back again if we were to come back to this area.

We stayed here twice during a road trip to Glacier National Park. While we stayed here for 2 nights, we also stayed inside the park at Apgar Village (Village Inn) and at the Many Glacier Hotel. Knowing what I know now, I would stay here EVERYTIME I want to visit Glacier NP. This adorable little complex is located on a busy street on the same road as the park, only 15 minutes away!! It was immaculately clean and offered us all the amenities we needed (and more). We stayed in Cabin #5 and we LOVED it.

What a sweet hidden gem. Parking was no problem in our pick up truck. Beds were super comfy with plenty of pillows. We stayed in cabin 1. This cabin had a full size mini fridge, kitchen sink, coffee pot, kitchen towels and small counter top. We were able to make some meals there with our electric pot just fine. Sweet patio with three chairs, I think they need to add one more to make it. 4 chairs. With a table. We did eat our meals out there due to no table in the cabin, which was fine with us. A/c unit worked well at night, when we left for the day we turned it off and opened the windows. We had room service come in daily to remove trash and replace our towels only. Which was perfect for us. Lots of storage and closet space. The even provided a few hangers. Bathroom is small, and shower is small….but it did the job. We used the shower nightly. The cabin was REALLY clean and tidy upon our arrival.

Booked online. The process was super easy! Room was very nice and fresh. Spoke with the owner several times and they were such nice people. We stayed in a studio. It had 2 beds, (linens provided) bathroom with towels, (soap/shampoo - conditioner and it had a kitchenette. West glacier is 10 min or less up the road. I would stay here again. But don’t take my word for it try it for yourself.
