Had a very enjoyable stay here over the weekend leading up to Christmas. Lovely room with a fantastic view over the Labour park. Very good breakfast - excellent coffee - and the Paulaner Brauhaus had a superb Christmas party. The Kempinski sets very high standards and did not disappoint.

My family and I were amazed at this hotel! Since we were in Dalian in the dead of winter, I booked a hotel that my family (wife and 4 year old boy) would want to spend hours inside. This was just that! We booked the family room and when we came in, it was already setup with the special lights on full display! The gym was better than my local one that I overpay in, the pool was remarkable, and the food looked incredible. The only reason we didn't eat dinner was because we had local friends that took us to local restaurants. The location was terrific, right next to it were a bunch of delicious local Japanese restaurants. Absolutely book this hotel and if you're with a family book the family room! I want to give a special thanks to Bob 王旭 for going out of his way to make our stay even more special!

This is a hidden gem to stay for families or for couples! We wanted our kids to enjoy being in the water even in the middle of winter and this was the perfect place. We stayed in a villa where they will fill your personal hot spring whenever needed. The public hot spring area also has huge indoor heated pools and a wonderful kids area. My children had a blast! Cleanliness and service was impecable all around. Shout out to Derek and Brain who spoke English and were so kind and helpful throughout our stay. As expected, the area around the hotel is quite dead in the winter like the amusement park and beach. Most attractions and things to do in Dalian are about 45 minutes away, so we will probably come back March- September instead.

The staff at the front desk were really kind and English was also comfortable. The room was spacious enough and comfortable, especially with a bidet in the bathroom. However, I stayed on the 10th floor, but it was a little disappointing that the room with a bad view of the building in front was blocked, and I turned on the heating, but the cold wind kept coming out, so I asked for a separate heater, so it was less cold. Hotel facilities such as saunas and restaurants in the hotel have great convenience like a global brand five-star hotel, especially because it is located in the center of the city, so it was very convenient wherever you went. The hotel was famous, so the taxi drivers quickly found the location and arrived quickly. I am thinking of using it again when I come to Dalian next time. Thank you for your warm hospitality.

This was my first experience to stay on this hotel, i just checked out hotel today and until now (it has been 2 hours and more i haven't received my deposit back) i called customer service 3 times and they are so busy, they cannot handle it fast, this kind of service is so bad, why they hold my deposit so long, i don't know the reason At first i arrived at hotel, they provided us room which has bad smell (like no one ever stays in the room) ,then they changed the room to other room I found pillow in the room is kind of pillow for hotel with 2 star instead of 5 star, really not comfortable, then the dust under the bed and sofa, it is really dirty like they never clean dust under the bed and sofa Those all my concern, and i think i will not come back to this hotel ever again and will not recommend to my friend

This hotel is an old star hotel. Although the facilities are not so new, the sanitation is still very clean and tidy. Check-in is also very fast. The room faces Labor Park and the scenery is very comfortable. The breakfast is better than expected, very rich and varied. The waiters are also very enthusiastic. In order to fulfill the promise with my bestie, I came to Dalian to watch Jacky Cheung's concert! By the way, I took a two-day tour on my own! Before I went, I looked at the hotels around the concert, and even the express hotel had risen to 400+. Considering that I still wanted to walk around the city and eat and relax, I decisively chose the Puyin Hotel in the Youhao Square around Dalian Station! I stayed there once in Changchun before, and it happened to be in Dalian, with a price of just over 200, which was very cost-effective! Walk 500 meters straight on the right side of the road after leaving Dalian Station and you will see the hotel! The waiter heard that we were watching the concert and gave us a support bag. It was super thoughtful that there was a warm baby in it! Special praise for their various teas, which are very suitable for girls, you know! One minute out of the hotel is the Sports Center where Metro Line 2 goes directly to the concert. There are also Xi'an Road Food Street Business District, Donggang Venice Water City and Gangdong Fifth Street where you can watch big ships along the subway line. The hotel is just a short walk from the Dashang Food Street at Qingniwa Bridge and the popular Dongguan Street, which is very convenient for eating, playing and shopping! A Jacky Cheung concert, a comfortable trip of eating and shopping, and a hotel with a very good value for money made my and my girlfriend's commemoration of our lost youth very complete! By the way, the hotel breakfast is very rich, and Puyin guests can eat scallops, which is a bit incredible! The geographical location of this hotel and the attentive service of the front desk lady are simply the first choice for travel. I guess the room price in the peak season in summer will not be cheap haha! Highly recommended to come to Dalian in the off-season!

It is difficult to review this hotel without talking about the pros and the cons of the location. As a beach resort the location, it is still struggling to recover from the Covid lull and many of the attractions are being refurbished this year in preparation for a hopeful end of season, but more realistically 2024. The landscape is beautiful and worth the visit and the hotel itself was clean, professional, excellently staffed and a joy to stay at. The food was above average and we particularly enjoyed the breakfasts. I would stay here again if I wanted some quiet time to relax on my own, or if I had a family that needed lots of differnet activities to keep the little ones happy.
