The location of the Youth Hostel is good, one side is the road, and there are many hotels on this road) and the other side is the river passing through Danba County (actually, I don’t know if it’s a river or a tributary of a certain river) ) We live in this standard room next to the river, and the sound of the river is not loud, and listening to the rhythmic sound of the river is also very healing. 3. The overall hygiene is well done, not just because the price is not high. 4. The water flow is strong, and it is very comfortable to bathe and wash your face. Anyway, I really don't like the water flow when I take a shower, which is very weak. 5. There is an air conditioner and an electric blanket, because it will still be a bit cold when you sleep here at night (except maybe in summer), and it would be nice if you have an electric blanket6. Dongnvqing Culture Theme Hotel: Highly recommend. Stayed here 1 night for a stop over on the way from Tagong to Siguniang (four sister's mountain). The hotel has a great location. It is located on the river in town. Walking street is only a 5 minute walk west. A little further west (another 5 minutes), you can find a nice restaurant with delicious Tibetan food. Also, the hotel is only a 15-20 minute taxi to Zhonglu (northeast of town). Cool place up the mountain where you can climb up the ancient towers. The hotel room has character. Renovated modern but remains authentically ancient traditional Chinese. Comfortable bed. Good conditioning. Bathroom isn't spacious (a bit cramped). However, nice and quiet. Staff are nice and friendly/helpful. Breakfast is lacking. If you are not in the mood for noodles for breakfast, there is not much in it. Lunch/Dinner is another story. Great food (Chinese menu) with a wide variety of dishes. Overall a good experience. Recommend it if you are staying in Danba for a couple of nights.

Only by living with the locals can I better understand the culture of the Jiarong Tibetan people. The bed mattress is very comfortable. From the ”shabby room” downhill, you can go to the apple orchard. There is a Tibetan village along the way. It is very comfortable to take a walk after dinner! There is also a partner in Shenzhen in the ”Shabby Room”, which is also very good! I am worried about formaldehyde.
