Debbie is the perfect hostess, nothing is too much trouble for her. She gave us the best breakfast of our 3 week trip, as well as cookies and cake to welcome us and take with us when we left. Debbie also made a restaurant reservation for us at very short notice and was able to get us a window table with a view. Marvels on the Creek is in a beautiful location, very peaceful and great for visiting places on the Eastern Shore. Our room was wonderful and we wish we could have stayed longer. We definitely recommend and hope to return.

Guests are staying in the hosts’ home, not separate accommodation. Debby does everything herself and is an extremely attentive and expert host. It is a beautiful home.

I'm originally from the area and traveled alone to Marvels on the Creek on a somber trip. I was hoping for a beautiful hideaway spot to tuck away in, but I received so much more! Debbie is such a warm, nurturing, and genuine soul, filled with wonderful conversation and stories. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt safe and she took care of me as if I was her own family. It stormed pretty badly one night while I was driving back, and as I drove up the drive, relief flooded over me when I saw the lights at Marvel were on and the garage door was up and waiting for me to dash inside without getting soaked. Every morning, Debbie was up and bustling around tending to things and making breakfast for me. The sounds of home fill the air, the views are absolute perfection, and words just can't describe the ambience of Debbie. Marvels on the Creek is a perfect representation of the Eastern Shore that I grew up on and the people and communities who make it home ＜3

Absolutely wonderful stay. Such a beautiful location on a large creak surrounded by solitude. Debbie makes this visit an experience from the second you arrive after driving down the long driveway. The rooms were lovely and extremely clean. First floor room has a great shower with high quality amenities and thick towels. I had the best night's sleep I've had in a long time which says something about the mattress and linens. The breakfast prepared to order by Debbie was scrumptious. Whatever you desired she accomodated from asking if their were any dietary restrictions (at time of reservation) to farm fresh eggs from her chicken coop. Great biscuits. Be sure to sit down with Debbie on the deck for a wonderful chat with her. She's a treasure. Can't wait to go back. We've stayed at quite a few B n Bs over the years and Marvel's is as good as any.

Marvels was clean, spacious, comfortable, and has a wonderful view. Our hostess warmly welcomed us and made us feel at home. Our gracious hostess recommended places to eat and visit. We had a delightful visit and look forward to staying there again.
