The hotel is average, the service is bad, there is almost never anyone at the reception, the receptionist is also in charge of the restaurant or he is almost always smoking outside.
We stayed for a week and they didn't clean and we put the sign on the door and they only came in to leave cloths and take out the trash.
We really didn't like it, it's a shame because the room is fine for the hotel it is.

The environment is very good and the rooms are large. It is a 20-25 minute walk from Princes Street and there are light rails to the airport and train station, which is very convenient. The hotel staff answered all questions and was quite nice.

Medium size hotel with large room and bathroom. A bit walk from Haymarket station. Nice and friendly staff. The bathroom is quite spacious and the water pressure are high. Clean room and with window.

Its a Travel lodge so basic accomodation. Room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. Shower was fine but shower curtain so long it trailed in the shower tray and blocked the plug hole. House keeping a bit hit and miss, there was no soap or shower gel when we checked in . Despite requesting a top up of tea/ coffee it didn't happen.Reception sorted this . A 20 minute walk to the city centre but also very easy to get buses and trams. Several nice cafes nearby that served goid breakfast options .

Mary from the Travelodge was very friendly and helpful. After my flight from Edinburgh to Zurich was postponed to the next day and the hotels in Edinburgh were almost fully booked, I was allowed to spend the night in my sister's room without much ado. That was great, thank you very much!

The room was very small, with only a single bed, and the window didn't function properly. The bathroom was peculiarly tight, and the price was too high for such a cramped space. Although the hotel's location was convenient, the overall experience and the single room did not justify the cost. Of all the Travelodge hotels I've visited in the UK, this one was the worst.

Good access for both the Westend and Murrayfield which is why we chose it. It's Edinburgh so you expect to pay a premium even for a Travelodge. The room itself was clean and a good size, and well equipped apart from only having mugs (no glasses) and no shower mat. The issues were the noise through the night.

Good location two minutes walk from the tramline and train station and set back from the main road. That's the only positive. The downstairs room I had was at the back and it was extremely dark, dingy, unwelcoming and the window doesn't close securely. I paid £175 for the night, breakfast not included .I didn't expect luxury, I have used travelodge before so know it's basic but this was poor and I expected better. Maybe other rooms are ok
