I was on a tour as a twin share and booked my own room separately. Despite email confirmation from the motel, they initially didn't have a room. Once a room was found, it was fine. I was offered a better room for the second night but declined because the first room was fine. The twin share room booked with the tour was very claustrophobic. 1.5metre doorway. No window. Tiny bathroom. Across the facility there was a big rang in room space and quality. Many of the tour group commented that the fridge didn't work, but we had found that to be a common problem throughout Turkey. The staff were friendly, approachable, obliging. Shops and restaurants nearby. Restaurant wine is very expensive, beer is quite cheap. Wine and beer from shops is very reasonably priced. If you are claustrophobic and booking here, request a big room with large bathroom and windows. Overall, a positive experience in a quirky hotel.

Balayı paketi aldık. Hiç memnun kalmadık. Odayı susleyeceğiz, meyve ikrami olacak denildi. Geldik akşam otele sizin balayı odanızı acil dun biri geldi ona verdik . Siz başka odada kalacaksınız sizi yarın odanıza alacağız dediler. Ertesi gün kapının önünde bekledik oda temilzlenip bizi odaya almaları zaman aldı. Yine süsleme olmadı. Meyve ikramını gece 1 de kapıya bırakmışlar sabah gördük sinekler uçuyordu sıcakta üstünde. 3 gece için 4 bin vermemiz gereken odaya balayı paketi diye 7 bin verdik. Lanet olsun. Sayelerinde çok kötü balayı geçirdik. Hayal ettigimjz gibi süsleme ikram olmadı. Hakkımızı helal etmiyorum.

We liked the location of the hotel (Urgup is stunning and less busy than Goreme) and we found a great sunrise and sunset point by climbing for 10 minutes up the cliff next to the property. The courtyard where the rooms are located is picturesque.
They man who checked us did not seem
happy at all. We had to ask for toilet paper three times during our stay as we were given just 1 small roll each time.
We were disappointed with the rooftop - it does not look like the photos and doesn’t look safe to sit on. You will not see balloons from this rooftop like the photo suggests.
The breakfast was initially disappointing, too (it was a very small buffet, unlike what the photos of the breakfast depict) but then we realised we had to ask for hot food i.e. boiled eggs or omelette and fries (typical breakfast food in Turkey) - there may have been more options but these were not communicated to us. The hot food improved the breakfast a bit but it still was not what we were expecting.
You will need to download Turkish on Google translate as the staff do not speak English; this is not a problem for us however the other reviews say they were given all sorts of help and advice from the staff whereas they did not seem to want to talk to us.

This hotel was supposed to be one of the highlights of our tour. Our room is 4 whitewashed walls definitely not even close to a cave. Internet is pretty much non existent, there is no housekeeping so had wet towels for 3 days. The staff are very pleasant,

We had a one night stay at this beautiful cave hotel. It was very comfortable and clean and had all the essentials needed . Dinner was ok and the same with breakfast. Wifi was good. Definitely recommend , beautiful views and lovely staff. A must do

Bizi çok sıcak karşıladılar. Odamıza yerleştikten sonra o güzel manzaralı terasta kahve ikramkarıyla bize çevreyi anlattılar. Sabah kahvaltısını Ülkü hanım kendi elleriyle yaptığı kek, börek ve puaçalarla renklendiriyor. Kapadokyayı nasıl programlı bir şekilde gezeceğimizi harita üzerinde tek tek yazarak anlattılar. O samimi ve sıcak ortam için teşekkürler. Tavsiye ederim. ☺️
