Contrary to what was told to us by Hays Travel, the beach is at least 20-25 minutes walk away, and is not very nice. The mosquitoes are absolutely HORRIBLE. We even stopped having housekeeping to not allow the door to ever be open for more than a second, and somehow we were still eaten alive every day, every night. They must breed in the rooms! Other guests were complaining as well. The other issue - it is a good 20 minute drive to Estepona, so unless you have a car it is quite a drive and the busses are very unreliable. Estepona proper is much nicer area and it is worth spending extra to stay in the actual town. The good::::: the staff was very friendly and the pool was lovely. In particular, Mario, Pedro, and Liza were exceptional and made the trip enjoyable. We won't ever go back to this location, it is not worth it.

Buona esperienza per questa struttura tranquilla seppur solo tre stelle ma ampiamente superate. Buona la camera, spaziosa ben attrezzata e con spazio esterno, bagno di buona misura con doccia bella ampia. tv solo canali spagnoli e qualche tedesco. Ottima la possibilità di parcheggio interno. Spazio piscina buono anche se piscina un po' piccola e un po' troppo autogestita, pochi ombrelloni. WiFi veramente lento risultato di scarsa qualità, forse il difetto peggiore. Buona la colazione e la ristorazione. Menzione speciale per i ragazzi della ristorazione e bar accoglienti e sempre a disposizione.

Looked for a basic hotel as travelling solo and found Ona Diana. Pros and cons to my stay: Pros Really nice staff on reception and the bar Daily cleaning of the room Quiet around the pool Not overly busy Cons Next to a busy highway so there was traffic noise Paid for half board for ease but wish I hadn’t, evening meals were not great though the grill was the better option over the pre prepared food. It’s a little way out from Estepona, puerto Banus was closer. Cockroaches were a problem but the staff moved me to another room quickly although also woke up one morning with a dead cockroach in that room too. No hotel car parking so used street parking and then car got damaged in the night. Wifi a bit flakey, slow or stopped working regularly. I would say you need a car to stay here although driving here can be a bit nerve wracking until you get used to it due to the general road layouts and you definitely need sat nav. Taxi’ing would be costly and airport transfers take forever according to other travellers.

Accueil pas très sympatique.. Chambre et salle-de-bains ok..sans plus.. "Buffet à volonter "?!! Il faut déjà beaucoup de volonter pour commencer... ça vaut à peine 2 sur 10.. Mais 20 euros quand même !! On verra lsi ils savent faire mieux ppour le petit-déjeuner..

El hotel se encuentra en la carretera, ente san Pedro de alcantara y estepona, para mi en la ubicación perfecta para poder ir a un montón de sitios de la zona, eso si es necesario coche para llegar. En el residencial que se encuentra tienes varios tipos de restaurantes, lo que lo hace idóneo si no te quieres desplazar. El establecimiento no es muy grande, tiene una piscina agradable y las habitaciones se encuentran al rededor de un típico patio andaluz, para mi no está sucio, al contrario, el personal es muy simpático y si tengo algo que destacar es que hay demasiados mosquitos, de hecho el mismo hotel tiene puesto un aparato para ello en un enchufe, nosotros compramos un spray y solucionado. No teníamos ni desayuno ni cena, por lo que no puedo opinar de eso. Hay que tener en cuenta que es un tres estrellas, así que el precio en pleno mes de agosto y en la zona que se encuentra me pareció correcto. Volvería sin problema

I had a very pleasant stay, great breakfast just did not use the pool as I was working sadly but overall I would stay there again. Localisation is ok between estepona and Marbella

This is really a working person's hotel along with casual travellers. If you bear that in mind, it's fine. Friendly staff. Shops and restaurants quite close, plenty of parking, although local residents have marked some spots as theirs with makeshift signs. If you are on holiday the pool and sunbathing areas are good and uncrowded if a little noisy from the motorway. Wifi needs a bit of a boost.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, the rooms were very clea the pool was amazing very refreshing, and the food was exquisite, the only thing that lets it down is the location as you are surrounded by busy roads however that does mean that public transport is readily available. Overall a very pleasant stay
