The hotel is located downstream of the ancient city of Fenghuang. It is relatively comfortable and quiet overall. This is also what I like. It is quiet. I also want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city during vacation. This is definitely the first choice for travel and relaxation.
Hygiene: The bedding is generally clean and relatively comfortable (but there are some spider webs on the fence on the balcony, and there are more water stains on the mirror in the bathtub. It would be better if you can clean it a little more when you are not busy)
Environment: Very comfortable, located in the lower reaches, not as many people in the upper and middle reaches, quiet and satisfying
Service: The butler is very considerate and the service is very nice~
Facilities: The overall facilities are very good. The only drawback is that there is no full-length mirror or a closer mirror. If you are short-sighted and want to put on makeup, it will be very inconvenient to use the toilet sink. In addition, there are no luggage racks or tables. If you want to put things there, you have nothing to put except the bedside table and outside. It would be better to add a little more in this regard.
In the end, I was quite satisfied with my stay at your hotel during my two-day trip. I wish the store a prosperous business. Go again if you have a chance

Outstanding service! We booked less than 1 hour before we were due to arrive and the host contacted us 15 mins after to ask our arrival time at the railway station and offered us a free pickup service back to the hostel.
Check in was fast and easy and the host even had already warmed our rooms up before we arrived as it was cold outside.
The room was clean, tidy and the theme was very special. The view of the river was spectacular with a bathtub right by the window with the view.
The shower room and toilet was right by the door and was clean and had all the basics and a good hairdryer. The toilet was a Japanese bidet. Very hygienic and fun if you have not tried one before.
The location of the hostel was very good as it was right at the beginning of the tourist route along the river. Lots of restaurants around the hotel. The host gave great information about the tourist area and also gave us a tourist map. Breakfast was great!
Highly recommended! Very good price for the location and level of service!

This little hotel on the banks of the river couldn't have tried harder to please, from the first moment I arrived till I left, the staff worked tirelessly to ensure I was happy and looked after.
The hotel is a 10 minute walk along the banks of the river to reach the centre of the ancient town, something I think I preferred as the noise in the evenings from karaoke bars in the centre goes on till late.
I was upgrade to one of the loft rooms, the bed was lovely and comfy with good linen and the walkin shower was excellent. The TV was massive and there was a lovely view of the river from the seating area.
The entrance was a bit tricky to identify and hence why I have included a better photo.

The B&B is a riverside house with a beautiful view. The owner is warm and hospitable. He is a local. He knows the history and culture of the ancient city, the humanities and history of Fenghuang Ancient City, the people and people, and the rich folklore. It was my first time to visit Fenghuang Ancient City and I found the hotel with the best scenery in the entire ancient city. The field of view is 180 degrees with no blind spots, and the entire ancient city can be seen. There is also a very large balcony with tatami mats outside the balcony, so you can enjoy the beautiful scenery while drinking tea. The room is also clean and tidy, and the most important thing is the sound insulation, which is really good. When you open the balcony door, you can clearly hear the singing from the bar opposite. The owner was so kind to pick us up at the main entrance and escorted us and brought our luggage to the hotel. Hotel was small but cozy, and we were amazed by the spectacular view of the river and mountain background from the balcony. This place is so unique, like painting in chinese literature. At night, you can hear modern music and I like the euphoria of people singing and talking to each other up till midnight. It is such a wonderful experience staying the night in here.

Really nicely decorated hotel. Id say one of the best hotels in this region. Given only four stars as our room was quite strong with cigarette smell. We informed the staff about it and they said they would send someone to fix it. I think what they did was just opening the window which made it worse as the cigarette smell was stronger when we came back possibly because we were on the second floor and someone was smoking outside. We didnt bother to tell them again as it was late and we just wanted to sleep. There was also some sticky stain on the floor that we asked them to clean it but it was still there when we came back.
Staff very friendly. A tea set is also provided.

GGuest UserThis hotel in Fenghuang was excellent! We were both American tourists that speak minimal Mandarin, and the owners were very patient in communicating with us. The owners were overall extremely kind, and they even upgraded our room for free. They also even walked us to the bus station when we left. The room was very clean and it was a great deal at its price. It was a perfect stay, and I would recommend anyone to stay here as well.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel owner was very enthusiastic. Before setting off to the ancient town, he added v and guided us in detail on how to choose the travel route. It was already after 7pm when we arrived, and it was raining heavily, but two people from the store still came to pick us up. They also took the initiative to introduce the folk customs and geographical features of the ancient city along the way. Warmth and touching are the wonderful memories left to me by the store. impression. In the early morning, looking out from the balcony of the room, I seemed to see the extremely beautiful scenery of ”Waiting for a City of Misty Rain”. It is said that this city has long lost its original charm, but the charm is ultimately accumulated by history and nourished by humanities. If you expect too much, you may be disappointed. But if you are indifferent, calm down and lower yourself, maybe it can give you back the ”love of a lifetime” that will be engraved in your memories after this brief encounter. Goodbye, Fenghuang Ancient City is different in different people's eyes; Goodbye, the simple and gentle shop. If we meet again by chance, I hope we meet again.

AAlejandro Ch.This boutique hotel is run by really nice and helpful people. We arrived around 9:00pm to the high speed railway station and there were no taxis or Didi available. We took the direct bus from the station to Qifeng Square which was a 7min walk from Hongqiao bridge and they went to pick us up to Qifeng square to help with our luggage (by foot of course, it’s basically a pedestrian area) ☺️. They were also kind enough to drop us off again to Qifeng square and helped with the bus tickets. Awesome customer service.
The location of the hotel was in the middle of everything, the balcony was a highlight. Maybe cleanliness could be improved, and some things like the bathroom carpet should be replaced. But that’s it.
Oh, there’s also this thing: while Fenghuang town is beautiful at night, it’s basically a party town when the sun sets. There’s a bar opposite to the hotel as other comments point out, but that’s not the only bar in the area. Wherever you walk along the river you will find a bar blasting music. Such a beautiful town ruined at night by bad local government regulations. If you like to sleep before 11:30pm (when music stops), maybe stay somewhere far away from the river. If sleeping late is okay for you, then this hotel works perfectly for the night.

The room was very spacious for 3 people.
The bed was comfortable.
They have proper amenities available.
The toilet was very big.
The location of the hotel was very convenient and it is walking distance to all the main attractions. It was a plus point as we were travelling with elderly people.
The hotel staffs were very helpful and approachable, they provided us the digital map and gave us guidance on how to walk around the ancient town. They also offered better ticket pricings for the different attractions that was available.
They came to fetch us when we arrived at the Nan Hua Men. They also arranged transport for us to the railway station as we were a group of 6.
Only downside was the noise from the vehicles in the eating street in front of the hotel, and some tour groups start their tour as early as 7am in the morning, as they walk by along the TuoJiang river. However, that was not an issue for us. We woke up early to sit at the balcony and have our morning coffee while watching people passing by.

GGuest UserThe room we booked was a twin room with river view and balcony. It is at Nanhua Gate and can be reached by taxi, which is very convenient. The B&B has an elevator, which is very convenient for picking up luggage. My parents were very happy to see the beautiful Fenghuang River view. The balcony is very spacious, with a hammock, coffee table and a chair. The scenery is very nice. The boss has a very nice family. My dad’s legs and feet are not very convenient, so the boss helped to carry it. They are very kind and enthusiastic people. The ancient city of Fenghuang is very beautiful. When I was a child, I was fascinated by the weather broadcast on Hunan TV. Especially the night view of Fenghuang is well-deserved. We walked around twice during the day and at night. They were both beautiful. We also took photos of the Miao ethnic minority and ate shrimp cakes. And Cuicui Miao Cake, mom and dad are very happy~

GGuest UserThe hotel has very convenient transportation. You can take the shuttle bus from the Maglev Station to the hotel entrance. The hotel is located next to Fenghuang Ancient City. The room is not big and the bathroom is very clean, but the facilities are a bit old. The front desk clerk was very enthusiastic, upgraded the room for free, and gave us ginger candies before leaving, which was very heartwarming.
Breakfast is relatively simple, but filling.

Hostel location on the map is wrong. The hostel is on the left side of Snow Bridge if you are facing Tuo Jiang River. Hostel location is not beside Feng Huang 1st Bridge.
When reach carpark, our car cannot enter due to carpark full. The owner came to the main road to help us carry our luggage to the hostel. Same thing when we go back time, the owner helps us to bring the language to the carpark. Free transport provided to and from high-speed rail station.
Our balcony is facing the Tuo Jiang River with a view of the ancient city and the scenery at night is very beautiful with the Snow Bridge fully light up. A good, beautiful view of the Snow Bridge and surrounding area.
We book Family Suite - 2-Room, River-View (Balcony), a clean and very spacious room and with a great view. The location is convenient, and the housekeeping is good.
There are many music bars below the hostel and along the river, but all music stops at 11 pm, is a good initiative.
Hostel location is near to popular attractions, such as Hongqiao, Tuo Jiang Rock Jumping, Travel Photography Shop just below the hostel.
I am fully satisfied with my stay in the hostel.
