Riad Sabah is a sanctuary from the busy-ness of Fes, tucked away but still close. I had a very pleasant stay here in a single room with all the amenities I needed. The staff are attentive, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and was a great start to the day, with a fruit salad, yoghurt, breads and conserves. I had a private hammam on site which was arranged within a couple of hours (has to be pre-heated) and was excellent.

Ha sido todo un acierto alojarnos aquí. Ahmed nos ha ayudado desde el momento en que hicimos la reserva. Con recomendaciones, traslados desde el aeropuerto, durante nuestra estancia... La habitación muy limpia y cómoda. El desayuno muy abundante, maravilloso para aguantar todo el día andando por la Medina. Y la terraza una maravilla para relaj**** a última hora del día. Sin duda repetiré cuando vuelva a Fez!!

I stayed there for 2 days. My room was ready and clean. The bed was comfy. Breakfast is good buffet with many items. I liked it. They have a big garden with a nice pool. I took a fresh local bear in this garden and a good chicken tajine with vegetables and olives.

Le Riad est au cœur du Médina, l'emplacement est très pratique pour la découverte de Fès. Notre séjour était un pur bonheur, la chambre était spacieuse, propre, bien décorée et chaude. Le personnel est un coup de cœur, il était à la hauteur de l'hospitalité marocaine, très aimable, agréable et aux petits soins. Nous avons adoré le thé et les petit déjeuner, copieux et variés, en terrasse, la vue est juste magnifique, idéal pour commencer et finir la journée. Je recommande vivement cet établissement si vous voulez rendre votre séjour à Fès inoubliable.

The location was very good and the room was beautiful, clean and spacious. I think the hotel is very nice and the staff are friendly and helpful. Next time, I would like to contact you for a few days, play in the pool, or relax with a massage.

I have been with my wife and my daughter at Riad Jamai for 4 days, the treatment we had from the entire team, Mohammed, Khadija, Meryen, Ayoub, was fantastic, they helped us with everything, they facilitated our trip and our stay in Fez. They are so close that they are part of your family, totally recommended. We are sure that our next trip to Fez we will repeat Riad Jamai, thank you for making us feel at home. We will come back!!! We were pleasantly surprised by the Hotel Volubilis. We hesitated to book the hotel because of some bad reviews about not having hot water and the staff being unfriendly (especially to Asians). But we decided to book anyways because of its location and quite affordable price. We were arriving to Fez at around 5pm, and we were told staying at the Medina wouldn't be worth it. Since we were catching a flight the next morning, we thought it would be more convenient to stay in the new city. So, despite some of the bad reviews, we decided to spend the night at Hotel Volubilis. Its location turned out to be great. It's right at the center and by the main avenue. There are lots of places to eat at walking distance and there are several Carrefours closeby also at walking distance. The staff was nice and they welcomed us well and took our request for a taxi to the airport in the morning. So, we have no complaints about the staff. Our room was big with a terrace. The room was old but clean. The terrace had no table or chairs, but it was okay. The bathroom was also big and we had no issues with the hot water. We showered at arrival and in the morning and water was hot and with pressure. The thing that we missed the most in the room was a fridge. Other than that, all good and acceptable. Though we agree with the other comments saying that this is not a 4-star hotel by ”global” standards.
