Best Pet Friendly Hotels in Florence

Breakfast can be much better. It is an expensive hotel but their breakfast buffet doesn't have fresh fruit, poor cheese selection and they also don't serve multi grain bread. For some reason, i felt like the staff were serving the Europeans faster. Also, at the hotel reception, the staff will give you incorrect information regarding the city tours and hotels. Please be careful

We had room 531. It was a nice room with a window to the front of the building. We picked this hotel for the location (to the right the river to the left the Duomo) and the rooftop bar looked like a great way to spend our evenings. The room was very noisy. Yes, it was at the front of the hotel, but the windows did not seem to help diminish the noise. It was especially noisy from above us - we assume the bar. Big, loud bangs - like someone dropping bowling balls. There was a lot of noise from the door slamming. They did not close - they all slammed. The blow dryer sucked. Did not blow hot air at all. I called the front desk and asked for another. Did you know - in the entire hotel there was not a replacement hairdryer to be found? (I know this may seem small, but if you have as much hair as I do - you tend to rely on some basics working). The rooftop bar - the views are unbelievable and exactly as pictured. They just need a staff that can take basic drink orders. They had 3 people every night working, but they seemed inept. We enjoyed our evenings there - but it could have been so much better. Would I stay there again - probably.

Location just opposite from station. Service is great and fast. However, my room to lift is too far. There is a lot of lifts but there is only one lifts u can get to lobby. Also there is a small step make me fall down when I reach there , I think hotel need to take alert into it .

The location is first-class, the environment is very good, the breakfast is comfortable, and the service is absolute. This hotel is really not a good place to go on a business trip, and I like it very much. But the facilities make people feel uncomfortable, although the owner should be sincere. The air conditioning system seems to have cost a lot of money, but guests cannot control it themselves. They need to contact the front desk every time and it starts very slowly, which makes people feel troublesome. The lights in the toilet are so bright that you probably won't be able to sleep if you go to the toilet at night. There were bugs in the room. I saw an electric mosquito coil, but I didn't think it was bedbugs. Fortunately, I didn't find any itching problem after staying for two nights. The front desk clerk checks in and sends you to your room after completing the check-in process. Haha, it feels weird. If the hotel and room facilities are quite satisfactory, you don't need such service. The curtains in the room are also weird. The outermost layer is half-opened. Haha, the shape is unique. The wardrobe is also weird. This is the first time I am so confused about reviewing a hotel. Overall it is good, but I feel that many places are a bit strange. So I canceled my last night's stay and moved to another hotel.

Beds were very comfortable junior suite nice sized. King bed and single bed in a separate area - bathroom in between. The bathroom was nice sized and very well appointed. Shower over the bath and was powerful The only down side in the bathroom was the shower door - it is very short so it didn’t prevent the water going onto the floor. On the first nights - no tissues in the bathroom bed not dressed properly but - saw housekeeping supervisor on duty the following day - different level of room servicing - the sheets changed, tissues in the bathroom, plenty of towels etc. plenty of shower gels/ shampoos and body lotions every day. Such a difference when supervised Breakfast was basic enough with hot scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon and toast. 3 cereals, 3 cakes, and 3 types of croissants 3 juices and 2 T/coffee machines. Plenty of condiments available. We didn’t use the bar or restaurant

We stayed in this beautiful hotel for Epiphany with the whole family, we are two parents with two children. We had a great time and will definitely be back! The hotel is wonderful in an evocative setting, along the Arno, it is also very close to the Ufizzi, the old bridge and the center. The staff is extremely kind and hospitable. For us it has become a place of the heart! Absolutely to try !!! ♥ ️

It was our first time at Palazzo Castri 1874. And we would come again, when we are in Florence the next time. The Location in the centre of Florence is just great. Everything is in walking distance. Even the main station. And nearby you can find a lot of restaurants. If you travel by car you can book a convenient and safe parking service. The rooms are nice and with everything provided you need. And the garden is awesome. We loved it.

The Hotel Bernini Palace in Florence is a remarkable hotel in a phenomenal location. The rooms were spacious (for Europe) and you are a few minute walk away from the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio. However, what makes this hotel exceptional is the staff. From concierges to housekeeping, the men and women that work at this property are thoughtful, servicial and committed to their craft. There is one individual in particular that I would like to highlight and that is Lorenzo from the front-desk/concierge team. AirCanada lost my wife’s suitcase when flying from Calgary to Rome, and if this has ever happened to you then you know how stressful that experience is for all involved. After 3 days of incompetence by AirCanada, we decided to take matters into our own hands. I went to Lorenzo to ask for help, and he pulled out all of the stops for us. Lorenzo found courier we could hire to drive to Rome, pickup our suitcase, and hand-deliver it to us in Florence. From the moment when I approached Lorenzo to when our suitcase was delivered, it hadn’t even been 24 hours. I was amazed at the perseverance, diligence and care demonstrated by Lorenzo; he goes the extra mile for his guests. Hotel Bernini Palace advertises “Les Clefs D’Or” concierge service on their website, and they deliver on the promise of world-class service. I will ONLY stay at Hotel Bernini Palace every time I go back to Florence because of the people that work there and because of the phenomenal service and experience they create for their guests. I arrived early and the offered to store my luggage at the reception and they delivered to my room, that’s nice. There was no briefing on the breakfast arrangements at check in, they assume bay you know. My room is an end unit with a single bed, which is good for me, the bathroom is pleasantly big, and I do enjoyed the bath. Shower is good too with good water pressure. I found a pair of slippers inside the drawer of the bedside table instead of in the closet, they are comfortable. The whole 3 nights I stayed without Wi-Fi, they couldn’t fix it! The electric outlet has three holes so you need to bring the specific adapter as there no usb port to charge gadgets. I changed mine in the bathroom as my two pint adapters worked there. No kettle in the room but they kindly delivered some hot water to my room when I requested. The second night they told me to go downstairs to get it. TV has international news channels except CNN but that’s ok for me. Lifts are efficient.

The tables and lamps in the room were full of dust that had not been cleaned, and I felt uncomfortable. I told the person in charge of their floor, and he wiped it with a quick cloth. I said can I change to a cleaned room? He said no, the rooms are all dusty like this. Speechless. You can only clean more places by yourself. It took nearly 17 hours to cross the border by train. You have to clean up yourself.
