Ideale Lage am Park. Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer waren sauber und ordentlich und hatten alles, was man braucht. Angemessener Preis für das, was man bekommt. Würde wieder hier übernachten. Danke für die schöne Zeit bei ihnen.

Übernachtung vom 27.6. - 28.6.2024 via Augustustours. Wir bekamen eines der Zimmer zur direkt angrenzenden Straßenbahnhaltestelle und direkt über dem vollbesetzten (Bier)Garten zugewiesen. Auf unsere Bitte nach einem Zimmerwechsel wurde ohne nachzusehen (!), als wenn man die komplette Belegung des Hotels im Kopf hätte, behauptet, dass alles voll sei. Selbst als wir im Internet über freie Vakanzen recherchierten, blieb uns der Zimmertausch (natürlich) verwehrt.

Das 3*-Hotel "Zur alten Oder" hat eine angenehm ruhige Lage. Die fast vor der Haustür fahrende Straßenbahn (Endstation) stört überhaupt nicht, sondern man kommt bequem vom Bahnhof zum Hotel. Ein schöner Fußweg führt über die Insel Ziegenwerder direkt in die Stadt, ein Weg ohne Autoverkehr, sondern in der Natur. Unser Zimmer war ausreichend groß und hatte sogar einen Balkon. Die Dusche könnte etwas größer sein. Alles war sauber und ordentlich. Der Frühstücksraum war hell und freundlich eingerichtet mit ausreichendem Platz und Abstand zu den anderen Tischen. Das Angebot an Speisen war gut. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Hotel verfügt über einen schönen Biergarten und man kann sich aus dem Automaten im Haus Getränke mitnehmen oder sich von der Rezeption Getränke bringen lassen. Etwas ungewöhnlich fanden wir, dass die Rechnung mit Bargeld ausgeglichen werden sollte. Aber insgesamt hatten wir einen angenehmen Aufenthalt und können das Hotel ohne Weiteres empfehlen.
