The room was simple and neat, and I stayed in a single room, so it felt more like a business hotel than a hot spring inn.
The bath wasn't really a large public bath, but there was an open-air bath, so you could still get the feeling of being in a hot spring.
The location was in the middle of the hot spring town, and there were many izakayas and snack bars nearby, so you'd have no shortage of places to eat or drink (on the other hand, there were few regular restaurants).
There were no convenience stores nearby, so if you wanted to drink in your room, it's a good idea to buy some beforehand.

All the staff are foreigners, so this is a hot spring inn geared towards inbound tourists.
The rooms were standard Japanese-style rooms and were very clean, and the bathroom was particularly clean, and appears to have been renovated.
Although it's not open 24 hours, there were no complaints about the large communal bath.
