The Kukuna

Hotel Kukuna is the best hotel in Kawaguchiko area. The location is excellent, facing Mount Fuji. From the balcony of the room, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Mount Fuji from any angle, and the coveted reverse view of Mount Fuji (Sakasa Fuji) also comes into view. The facilities and services are excellent, and the catering is very rich and delicious; the highlight is that the restaurant staff always warmly welcome every guest, making people feel at home. Especially Mr. Restaurant Manager and Mr. Taiya Yoshikawa. Mr. Manager's attentiveness and attention showed an excellent service attitude. Mr. Yoshida always entertains guests with a smile and a friendly and cordial manner. Enjoying delicious food while admiring Mount Fuji is a pleasant and unforgettable experience. Kukuna Hotel is my best choice next time I visit Lake Kawaguchi.

The location of the hotel is amazing. The room rate is so expensive, just for the scenery.

The environment and service are very good. The room faces Mount Fuji. It feels great to see Mount Fuji while soaking in the hot springs. The beef for dinner is also super good. After eating, I went alone and ordered an extra portion!

The price of more than 12,000 per night is really expensive. The room is not big, very Japanese-style. I am not used to it when I just came from a high-end hotel in Ginza, Tokyo, but the next dinner is too extra , Every dish is basically delicious. After eating, I feel that the price of the room is worth some fares. I didn’t go to the hot spring. I went up to take a look. The pool is not very big, and the view of Mount Fuji from the balcony of the room is okay (but there is a tree that is very annoying. ), but I don’t know if it’s the hotel’s sanitation problem or there are too many bugs here. When I woke up this morning, my husband and I both had rashes on our arms, which were very itchy. My husband’s was more serious and swollen. Breakfast is a normal buffet.

The service level of this hotel is the worst of all Japanese hotels I have ever stayed in. 8,000 RMB per night for one stay and two meals. In the evening, there is a buffet plus 3 western dishes. The quality of the dinner is very disappointing. Breakfast is also a buffet, the level is at best a three-star hotel, there is really no delicious food, it's too casual! When checking out, Taifei, the general manager, asked me to go to the room and hand over both room cards to the front desk before checking out. No hotel would do this! The waiters in other Japanese hotels are very respectful to the guests, but this KUKUNA, the waiters are very casual and do not take the guests seriously

[フロント] ﾁｪｯｸｲﾝは ｳｴﾙｶﾑﾄﾞﾘﾝｸ(ﾊｰﾌﾞﾃｨ)を頂きながら館内の説明を受けます 駐車場はﾎﾃﾙの前に止められますのでとても便利です 駐車場には ｽﾀｯﾌ がいて ﾌﾛﾝﾄへ案内して 客室まで ｽﾀｯﾌ が荷物を運んでくれます [客室] 中央館 ｽｰﾍﾟﾘｱﾙｰﾑ 35㎡ THE KUKUNAはどの部屋からも真正面に 河口湖越しの🗻富士山が望める富士山を眺めるには最も良い宿の一つです 客室には🚿シャワーブースのみでバスタブはありませんが温泉大浴場があるので特に問題はありません 無料の ﾐﾈﾗﾙｳｫﾀｰと富士山クッキーが置かれてます 持ち込み用の空の冷蔵庫が無いのは残念 ハワイアン風の館内着はかなり微妙で着ている方はあまり見かけません 部屋は3名利用では少し手狭な感じです 2名利用ならば問題ないと思います [温泉大浴場] 9階に露天風呂とサウナを併設した男女別の大浴場があり 露天、内風呂からも雄大な富士山の絶景が堪能 出来ます 時間により男女浴場が交代しますが大差はありません 大浴場にバスタオル等の備え付けが無い為 部屋から用意しなければなりません ﾊｲｸﾗｽ ﾎﾃﾙとしては少数派かな？ [夕食] 3箇所のﾀﾞｲﾆﾝｸﾞがあり 創作ｺｰｽ 料理+ﾊｰﾌﾊﾞｲｷﾝｸﾞや鉄板焼グリルやお寿司ｶｳﾝﾀlｰなどが選べます 今回は個室ダイニングで創作コース料理を頂きました サーブしてくれるスタッフの心遣い溢れる対応で見た目も味も満足できるものでした！ [朝食] 富士山を望む気持ちいい眺めのダイニングで和洋のビュッフェスタイルの朝食 種類豊富も味も満足感もたっぷり！ 名物ﾌﾚﾝﾁﾄｰｽﾄ は是非お試し下さい！ [サービス] スタッフのサービスは概ね良好です ホテル自体には宿泊者に対しての 🥤ドリンクフリーのラウンジや館内で ゆったりと過ごせる空間はありません ビジネスホテルクラスでも今は提供してるサービスですので残念でした ロケーションがとても良いホテルですので晴天で🗻富士山が見えれば富士山の 圧倒的な存在感で満足出来る宿ですが… もし🗻が全く見えない日に泊まったとしたらチープな我が家では宿泊料金に見合う宿かはかなり疑問？

We stayed here for a family trip with our children, who are now adults and live in different places. We were searching for accommodations on a hotel website with the aim of relaxing in the hotel and watching Mt. Fuji, and when we happened to come across KUKUNA, which had a cancellation, we immediately made a reservation. ・Has an open-air bath ・A direct view of Mt. Fuji ・Has a balcony ・Proper dinner ・Breakfast is a buffet ・Has a private bath ・A clean hotel ・Attentive service from the staff We were looking for various things, and this hotel surprisingly met all of them. Not only did we meet our search criteria, but our impressions of the stay also included the cleanliness, comfort, service, and food. As soon as we arrived, the staff who came to pick us up from the car made us think, "I'm glad I chose this place," and that feeling continued until we checked out. At the front desk, in the restaurant, and in various other scenes, the staff's polite service, which conveyed their feelings, made me think that it felt like a fresh version of the Ritz-Carlton, and when I heard that the owner had worked at the Ritz-Carlton in Hawaii, I understood.
