I stayed when I went to Hakata City, Fukuoka Prefecture for work. I walked out of Exit 2 of Nakasu Kawabata Station and arrived in a few minutes. The hotel in Hakata city felt high at this time. The inside of the hotel was very beautiful. The view from the window on the 10th floor could only be seen in the next building. It's a pity that breakfast is not currently served. Check out is 10 o'clock. There is FamilyMart nearby and it is convenient.

the bad point was the soundproof, I could hear people talking all them full conversation. When they were in the bathroom I could hear everything even fart. Also mornings and nights I heard people making out. That was kind of terrible... so if you are a light sleeper, I would not recommend at all.

This is the most disgusting and despicable thing any hotel management can do is to chase my father off the premises when he was waiting quietly for me downstairs to have breakfast. I am staying with my mother in this hotel and since they’re not together anymore, my father decided to wait for me at the quiet third floor banquet. I was just getting ready to meet my father when the security manager and his team of security threatened my father with Police to arrest him! To which my father replied that his lawyer will sue them for malicious prosecution! Since he was just quietly sitting at the sofa waiting for his son to come down! Not having issues. Eventually, my father removed himself from the hotel but yet; the security manager was physically manhandling my father while at the lobby by grabbing his arm even though he was walking normally! The security manager was just trying to create a scene with my father. DO NOT STAY HERE! These people here are vile and vindictive in their demeanours! Totally unprofessional and have no work ethics! No services from the heart ❤️ They are a total disgrace to the hospitality industry! Definitely not a 5 Star Hotel in services but more like a putrid fish market!

Well, the hotel has limited staff, for those who will drive and park at the hotel. Please expect to carry your luggage by yourself from the parking to the room. There's no bell boy in this 4 stars hotel. The location is very convenient, if you are bringing babies or toddlers, it's easier for you to dine without searching around. The hotel shared elevators with the shopping mall next to it. You may access the mall restaurants in the6&7 floor, which there's lots of choices.

Good location, just 5 mins from hotel to metro station. Lots of food shops near hotel, especially the self-service drink machine in hotel, you can use it unlimited as you want during open time. I’m surprised the breakfast is so diverse and delicious, lots of food you can choose! I’ll be back definitely! Highly recommended!

It is very easy to move because it is close to 1 minute from Akasaka 3 exit of the subway airport line. The lobby was relaxing and I arrived before check-in, but I waited slowly. The room is also calm. I had a good time in my room. The bathroom is also a luxury space, and the shower head that I saw in the introduction of overseas hotels is fixed to the ceiling. It was a hand-held type, and the head was large and comfortable. The amenities were substantial, the dryer was solid, and it was easy to dry the hair. There was an espresso machine in the room. I could have a delicious coffee, I had a PET bottle of water, and the hardness of the bed was just right, and the bed was comfortable. There is no repeat!

We used the superior room with 4 families. It was a semi double bed x 2 + extra bed x 2, but there was a room size and I didn't feel particularly cramped. The meal was finished outside, so there is no restaurant use. It is a new hotel, so it is a comfortable and clean hotel. The Montreal Group also used in Osaka, but I am satisfied with the overall. Not flashy, but no problem with the minimum service, not more than necessary.

One of the great choice for the hotel near Hakata station.
Just 10 mins walk to Hakata station or green line subway.
There's minimart just across the road. Less than 5 mins walk to grocery store or amous ramen also good izakaya.
Hotel is look new and very clean. No smoking smell.
Hotel staff are great service and speak English.
There's a free soft drinks bar at 14th floor.
Also free public bath both indoor and outdoor anyway it's not big and alway crowded.
For me, I don't have any problems with noise or sound from outside. In room is quiet.
Due to the building is open area, you have to walk outside to the lift but just 10 sec. For me there's no problem with cold at all.
Room, toilet is very clean and look new. Shower is very strong (I like it) and very hot that good for winter.
Room also bigger than I thought. Bed is comfortable.
Breakfast is very nice but we have to book a time schedule because many guests in a hotel.
Overall I will recommend this holiday.

YYvonneLGreat location, just opposite Hakata Station (Chikushi exit - closer to Shinkansen platforms). B1 of hotel leads to link to the Fukuoka city Subway (airport line), which is just 2 stops away from Fukuoka airport (domestic airport, able to transfer by bus to international terminal). We took Taxi ride instead from airport to hotel (10-15min) for easier convenience as my mum is a senior and we had 2 large luggages. We stayed for 6 nights over 26 Feb - 3 Mar’24 where weather was still chilly, between 2-12C, we used the B1 link (simply take lift from hotel floor to B1) almost daily to get to Hakata station/shops/restaurants - very convenient and comfortable 🙂. Room is spacious with separate bathroom and toilet. There is also onsen on level 13 of the hotel (indoor n outdoor) for hotel guests to use for free. Can rent swimsuit from the staff for outdoor pool. The hotel offers only set breakfast - continental or japanese. It was delicious and staff are ready to assist with refills of drinks. Oh, there was also MacD on B1 and Starbucks on L1, and there is Lawsons just 1 min walk from Hotel. Recommend this hotel for its location convenience to explore the city and easy access to subway and shinkansen. Housekeeping done professionally, reception and restaurant staff are polite and ready to offer assistance. Happy to stay here for first trip to Fukuoka and will be glad to return again! 👍🏻

GGuest UserWe reserved 4 residential twin rooms in Tokyo Stay Tenjin from Aug 20th to 24th. As a frequent travellers (5-8 times to Japan annually), originally we had a very pleasant stay (prime location, all rooms are clean and we love the washing+drying machine in each room), until we experienced the life-time worst customer service.
I requested for 2 hours late check out extension to 1pm and agreed to pay for additional charges for all rooms (2000 yen per hour per room and I paid 16000 yen in total).
We experienced an unexpected long lunch on 24th and I sent a mail (at 12:30pm) via Tokyo Stay site to request for extension to 2pm (instead of 1pm).
When we returned hotel at 1:20pm, one of the staff pulled his face, scolded and yelled at my family members loudly in Japanese, and he kept doing that in 3 of our rooms, even yelling at elderly and children of my family.
My family members felt humiliated and were very upset. They told me that unpleasant experience, so I looked for that staff at front desk and asked the reason for the yelling and scolding, especially when we paid for all charges for extension. I used google translate in Japanese with speaker and there wasn’t any reply. When I asked for his name, he took off his name tag, ignored my request and said providing his name is against their privacy policy (All other staff were wearing name tags except him). He threatened to report to the police, if I keep asking for his name! Wait, what?
So I want to ask: 1: Does the policy of Tokyo Stay allow staff to yell and scold customers when they do late check out? (not to mention we informed and paid for charges already) 2: It’s your policy to report your customers to the police when they ask your staff for their names?

TTY11I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Oriental Hotel in Fukuoka, and it was truly an experience to remember.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm Japanese hospitality and was quickly checked-in by the friendly staff. The lobby was beautifully decorated.
My room was clean, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The high-speed Wi-Fi was reliable, which was a plus for my trip. The bed was comfortable.
One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's restaurant. The breakfast buffet offered a fantastic variety of both Japanese and Western options.
The hotel's location is excellent. It's just a short walk from the train and bus stations, which is full of shopping, and restaurants.
My overall experience was fantastic. The Oriental Hotel Fukuoka offers a comfortable stay, excellent service, and a unique blend of tradition and modernity. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Fukuoka!

GGuest UserI was attracted to the good location of 2 stations by subway airport line from Fukuoka Airport to Hakata Station and about 2 minutes walk from subway Hakata Station to the hotel. This time, I wanted to go to Shimonoseki, Ogura and Yamaguchi Prefecture based in Hakata, so I had a comfortable stay. The amenities were a style that took you from the corner in front of the front desk to the room for as much as you needed, and I felt that it was a good attempt from the viewpoint of environmental protection. I want to stay again. Thank you.

AAmirahGion stn exit 2. No escalator or lift at that exit. This is an unmanned hotel. Self service check in and check out using tablets. Had trouble checking in because could not find my reservation even after trying a few times. Called the operator using the link in the tablet and he helped resolved immediately.
1 laundry machine located next to the entrance. Free coffee from 7am to 8pm. Free breakfast too. Free towel and toileteries. Only 1 lift but I never had to wait long. No room cleaning service even if stay more than 1 night but can return and replace towel. I stayed 7 nights and got nothing to complain except the bidet in toilet not functioning.

PPgcresRoom size for a 3 Bedder room is still alright for us. There are lots of restaurants around the hotel. If you get to the hotel via Exit 6 from Tenjinminami Station, there is no escalator or lift and takes about 8 minutes from the exit. There is a lift from the station opposite of exit 6 though (near Diamaru) which we used when we left the hotel to go to airport.

TTravelholicsThe location is good as it connected to a sizable shopping mall. The room is decent small but there was very poor sound proof. The musical fountain next to the hotel with loud volume awoke us every 10am in the morning. On the last day of our stay in 7am. The couple next door were having noisy adult exercise… bang bang bang… to the wall between our room was sucks. We heard their yelling and breathing clearly all thru the time. AArnold DayritWe usually stay in a newer boutique hotel in Tenjin. We had to stay in Plaza Hotel Tenjin this time since our fave hotel was fully booked. We booked two rooms - a semi double non smoking room and a double smoking room (they ran out of non smoking double rooms).
Location is good. The hotel is near Akasaka station and Tenjin station. A lot of good shops and restos in the area like Ippudo, Lamp Light Books Cafe, Little Napoli, Billy's, Apple, Nike, Adidas, New Balance, Levi's, Muji, and dozens more pre-owned clothing stores.
Hotel is kinda dated. As expected, the rooms are small but the bathrooms are even smaller. The bed mattresses, comforters, curtains, and carpets have seen better days. But the amenities like yukata, coffee, tea, and tons of toiletries are excellent.
You can expect your room to be (limited) cleaned, i.e. replace towels, bring out the trash, and vacuum the carpet, daily between 10am and 11am only. Wish that they also replace and fix the beddings daily for long-stay guests like us.
Check-in and check-out procedure was a breeze.
Front desk personnel (specially the Japanese lady staffers) were very helpful specially when we needed two taxis to go to the airport during rush hour.
Just like other small hotels, it has a common room with an ice machine, vending machines (for drinks), microwave oven, and coin laundry. All these were very useful and convenient to have.
