Hotels near Maruyama Park, Fukuyama

Less than 5 minutes from the north exit of Fushan Station. Of course, the hotels in Fushan are basically very close to the station. I am very happy to get the room on the side of Fushan City. It happens to be a weekend. The lights in Fushan City are shining at night and it is very beautiful. Crossing the road from the hotel is the entrance of Fushan City. The hotel room is not small, the only regret is that there is no big bath. Microwave oven, ice maker, self-service laundry are available. In February of 23 years, the hotel was undergoing internal decoration upgrades. There is no noise during sleep. Nice hotel, the price is right.

We stayed here to see the team lab ”Light Festival” at Fukuyama Castle. This is the second time I use it. It was a room with a view of Fukuyama Castle in front of me. I was impressed to see the whole of the ”Light Festival” from the window of the room at night. The room is clean and clean. I'm glad that the bathroom is separate. It's nice to have a large bath. The location is right next to Fukuyama Station (you can see the departure and arrival of Shinkansen and trains from the window lol), there are many restaurants, and the bus terminal is right next to it, so it is convenient to move anyway. Breakfast is a cafe on the first floor. It's a pity that it's not a buffet style for me, but if you can choose Japanese or Western style, the call bell will ring, so it's a style to go pick it up by yourself.

Stayed 4 nights in semi-double room. Room is located a couple minutes outside the train and bus station but we had a little trouble finding it since part of the facade was covered for renovation work. It is a grand, old-fashioned hotel but it is well-maintained and nice that the ”old” touches are still there (telephone in the bathroom, coasters for drink glasses). Positives: room was large and functional. I believe all the rooms that face the castle are even larger. There was plenty of space for our luggage and it was great to have a decent table as well as a desk space to work from. Wired internet and wifi worked well. We tried both the Japanese and the breakfast buffet - both delicious. As other reviews have noted, the French toast is especially scrumptious! Also nice that the breakfast lasts a little longer than in most hotels. Negatives: old-fashioned but most of Fukuyama seems from the same era. Housekeeping was generally excellent but on one day, our room hadn't been made up and it was already 3:30 pm. Overall, a great place to stay in Fukuyama.

The facilities were new and very comfortable because all rooms were renewed this year ８ month. I am very satisfied. If you dare to point out, ① Can you give me a shoe bella in the room a little longer? The elderly are hard to bend, so if the handle is long, they can easily wear shoes. ② Please provide a small plate in addition to the breakfast venue and one plate plate. You should have a lot of soup, incense, mentaiko, etc. without mixing with other things. It's a little uncommon to substitute for a bowl or miso soup.

The room was clean, and I was highly aware of corona infection prevention, and I felt relieved. The sea and islands 々 spreading all over the window of the room never got tired of looking at it. Thanks to the delicious meal in the restaurant Kairi private room with a view of the fishing port and the hospitality of the staff, I also played a talk with my family who met Ku 々. It was correct to take an open-air bath on the roof immediately after early check-in, and I was able to enjoy the extraordinary while feeling the wind in Setouchi slowly by myself. I also liked the deck of the hotel facing the sea, felt the sea breeze, heard the rust, and went out to relax many times. Even after checking out, I stopped by after walking around the town of Tsurunoura and sightseeing, and I was able to relax until the shuttle bus time at ２ in the afternoon. It was very easy to access by shuttle bus from Fukuyama Station on the Shinkansen ３０ minutes. It was an inn that I wanted to visit again.

Bella Vista Spa & Marina Onomichi is a small luxury resort hotel with just 44 total rooms. This area is known for ship building; the original property served as a serviced guest house for people involved in the industry beginning in 1973. The present property was established in 2007, offering rooms with ocean views and a spa. The property grounds is quite vast - it's perched on a hill overlooking the stunning Seto Inland Sea and the Bella Vista Marina at the water's edge. There are walkways throughout that offer nice vantage points by which to appreciate the scenic beauty of this area of Japan. The outdoor terrace stretches directly from the main indoor common area and has uninhibited views of the Seto Inland Sea. In the middle of the terrace is a stretch of water that appears to flow directly into the ocean (even though the Ocean is quite a ways away) - the water is less than 10cm deep and isn't meant for swimming; it's strictly for show, and it's probably the most Instragrammable aspect of the resort. And, especially in the Summer time, you'll have the ability to enjoy the infinity pool as well as partake in numerous activities (both onsite and outside the property), such as a beach BBQ and island hopping. There's also a ribbon chapel on the property grounds that has won numerous design awards, and I'd imagine that it would serve as a wonderful venue for weddings. In the resort itself, there's a nice spa facility as well as three different restaurants serving Sushi, Kaiseki and Basque-inspired cuisine (using local ingredients and recipes.) We stayed in the Panorama Terrace Suite, which was quite large 100m² and the third from the top category room at Bella Vista. The best room is the Bella Vista Maisonette Spa Suite, but we passed on it because we generally avoid Maisonette-style layouts, while The Bella Vista is similar to the Panorama Terrace Suite, except that it has it has an open air bath with a view of the Ocean; The Bella Vista was already booked when we tried to reserve it. While our room was spacious, nicely appointed and clean, it was showing its age somewhat. It could probably benefit from a refurbishment within the next few years, especially given the room rates that they charge here. There is a dearth of power outlets as well, which is further evidence that it was built more than a decade ago. The room has a stand-alone bath tub, but it's not Onsen (natural hot springs.) In fact, there's no longer Onsen anywhere on site - supposedly, Onsen stopped flowing about 7 years ago, and that was that. It's a shame, given that there is ”Spa” in the property's name, but a Japanese Spa resort without Onsen is a bit of a misnomer if you ask me. Not their fault, but them's the facts. Dining wise, Bella Vista offers 3 options - Sushi, Kaiseki and Basque-inspired cuisine. All three of the restaurants serve dishes using the very best of local ingredients from both land and sea. I used a female-only dormitory this time, but it was clean and the futon was fluffy. The two directions are full windows and the view is outstanding. Since I went to the public bath, I didn't use the shower, but the kitchen was clean and very cute. There is an attached cafe as a common space, but it is comfortable and customers can bring it in. With a cup of tea brewed in the kitchen, I was able to relax while enjoying the scenery. The only difficulty I felt was that the stairs were tight when I inadvertently drank in the shopping district and went home. .. ..

This is a wonderful hotel, unfortunately we were put into the smallest room, one that was so small and filled with unusable furniture that there was no space for one guest let alone two. Getting around meant one person had to stay on the bed while the other crawled to the sink or shower room. The room was so tiny that staying in it was a constant source of tension, the kind of tension that can ruin a vacation. It was so small, it was almost impossible to step into the room and move aside so you could close the door behind you. There is a similar problem maneuvering into the shower. So if you want to stay in this hotel definitely ask not to be put in room 214. It's torture. Management would do well to remove the bed, the nightstand, the chair (which cannot be used because it has to be crammed so close to the small bed), and the small table next to the chair that also cannot be used. Replace the furniture with tatami, futons and a couple of pads to sit on. Now, moving on from the agitation of being sentenced to Room 214, this hotel has a lot going for it. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The hotel and the Onomichi train station share the same building -- a brand new building -- so as soon as you step off the train, you're at your hotel. Also, the building is completely soundproof. You will not hear or feel trains rumbling by or any noise from the bus and car traffic from in front of the hotel. The rooms have cathedral ceilings, not just high ceilings but vaulted ceilings, which I'm sure would have felt luxurious had we not been stuck in Room 214. The rooms also have high windows that give you a lot of ambient light and, I'm sure, great views from some of the rooms. Before being pointed to your room, you are brought to an amenity counter and allowed to take as many packets of luxury face washes, night creams and other cosmetics as you desire. A N'espresso machine and coffee capsules await you in your room. Once again, this is a wonderfully charming and modern hotel in a wonderfully charming and funky city. We plan to return to Onomichi when it is not so hot -- and stay in this hotel. But we'll ask for a larger room.

There seemed to be a bus from Shin-Onomichi, but I took a taxi and arrived at the hotel in about 15 minutes. Take the elevator from the road and there is a reception on the 2nd floor. The room was very large and had a good water view. The JR station, restaurant, small shopping building, etc. were also nearby and it was in a good location. Anyway, it was cold so I used the hotel Italian for dinner. It was my first time with lemon-flavored carbonara, but it was delicious. I was impressed that the friendly staff who served in Italian the night before at the breakfast restaurant the next day said that thank you for using the restaurant last night.

I like Route Inn recently, and this １ month is the first use of ３. Recently, I have traveled for about １０ nights in １ months, but this Mihara station was exceptional. First of all, when I was given the room key and went to the room, someone was using the room. The room key was also opened, but there were clothes and empty cans in the room. It's too scary to have someone who doesn't know when I'm out. He changed the room immediately, but after changing it, I was told that it would be a non-smoking room. I was surprised to have booked a smoking room, but I quit smoking without asking anything. Why do I have to go to the smoking room? Moreover, the corridor is dirty. The corridor was messy from the time I checked in, but why was it so messy until check-out? Used towels are falling in the corridor. I felt sick just to go through it and smoke. Some people have good reviews, but is it really the same hotel? What kind of security management is it, such as being able to issue a room key with already users, and issuing a card key more than the number of guests staying, rather than double booking?
