Love it for its location and its proximity to the west lake. Such I pity I couldn’t get a lake view room.
Hotel feels abit old, has no direct access the west lake, notwithstanding that it is just in front of it. I got to make a detour to get to it.
Buffet dinner has a decent spread given that hotel guests only pays RM155.
The tea leaves in the hotel cost a bomb too. As I do not read Chinese characters well, I didn’t know that they charge the tea leaves and used them, and ended up paying around RMB 200 for a packet of tea leaves (2 servings). I would suggest that they write the costs in English too.

The room is classical and elegant, located in the old street in the city center, giving people a sense of isolation. In the evening at Juchunyuan Restaurant, Mr. Zhang enthusiastically introduced the local specialties, which were delicious and cost-effective. In short, I felt very comfortable in Fuzhou this time. Mr. Zhang helped arrange a good room type and gave breakfast. Thank you Mr. Zhang for your hospitality. I will choose Juchunyuan again next time I come to Fuzhou!

C&H Hotel is the best hotel in Fuzhou, bar none, if you look for great location, luxurious and clean room, beautiful surroundings and top notch services. It’s located next to the famed West Lake, and guests can take an easy stroll by the lake through a special gate. Staff are friendly and well trained. Rooms are huge, nicely decorated and well maintained. It’s a relatively high standard in a tier 3 city in China. Breakfast is also nice and full of choices. I have stayed there multiple times in the recent years. Just spent two nights there on May 12-14. Mr. Yang at Front Desk was especially helpful and kept my reservation post 11pm without deposit due to my late arrival. Thank you! I’ll stay there again when I come to Fuzhou.

The hotel was very accessible, affordable and conveniently placed for access to the city. Service was fast, efficient and warm. There was cigarette smoke wafting into in my room though I am a non smoker, which made me slightly uncomfortable. Bedding is clean and cozy and water very hot. I did not try the food but I will next time.

Jack Lin and Kris are the very helpful staffs t who helped myself with finding my wallet when it was lost during my transferring the vehicle because i had long journey and the local transportation was somewhat foreign to me in the dark evening. This is incredible to me as a wallet withheld only bills to count a dozen but no ids within, then how should they to reclaim it back is really a credit. In addition the clerks who served at the counter Ms Xu, Zhan, Lin did a lot of helping hands to me are worth to mention in the first place. In addition, what i really want to address is if you are ready an old-school taster can recall still the elegant class of the fine artistic furniture and its amenities of handicrafts this is a suggestion of mine for a coming. A thick carpet paved doorway, a marble finished bathroom, bedroom decorated with carefully designed lighting, of these amenities were those included in all i was served for a night stay. As you can see, from a wallet missing to its return, from a dedication of suite design to the welcoming snacks, and after a long flight journey done i took my newly purchased shoes off and thus i found an immediately medical aids should be required so i asked the possibility for staffs’ service. They can even heal my heel’s hurt. These are all the service they charged no money but really worths travels’ money for the stay. Thus, I appreciated and recommend only to those appreciated the real amenities of classic hotel’s admirers.

It is located in Aofengfang, which is full of scholarly flavours in Fuzhou (in the sense of being out of the top), near Sanfang Qixiang, with tranquility in the middle of prosperity. The old house is a three-in courtyard with three courtyards, which are very bright. There is absolutely no need to worry about the historical mansion being not bright enough. One of the courtyards has been converted into a courtyard rockery garden with cloisters and pavilions. The homestay also provides free Hanfu for the residents to take pictures, leaving behind a beautiful shadow, so much fun.
.
In addition, the biggest difference between this homestay and other ancient homestays is that the pavilions in its backyard have joined the swimming pool and SPA room of a modern hotel. If you are tired after a day of playing, you can also relax in a SPA, which is very pleasant.
.
The B&B offers different room types, from tatami mats to hot springs. Whether for business trips, couples’ fun, parent-child travel, etc., there is always one suitable for you.
.
Although it is a homestay, the room configuration is based on the specifications of a star hotel. The free water is VOSS, the shower lotion and shampoo and conditioner are all French brand L’Occitane, and the toothpaste is also Japanese ora2.
.
The room layout is also very exquisite and attentive. Let me talk about the room card, the wooden listing, which feels like a waist card in ancient times. The kettles in the rooms are very retro, which fully matches the atmosphere of the entire homestay, harmonious and comfortable, and every detail is surprising and moving.
.
Upon check-in, fruit refreshments are provided and breakfast is well-made. I feel that their fish balls are better than Yonghe fish balls. In addition, I have stayed in so many hotels and B&Bs, and this one is the only one I have ever seen that offers supper. I stayed for two nights. The supper on the two nights was different. The first night was red bean and coix syrup, which is very suitable for Fuzhou in summer. It is very friendly to women. The second night was white fungus soup, which was beauty and moisturizing. After a bowl, the fatigue of the day was completely relieved.
.
Besides, the management of the homestay is a one-to-one service. You will add your VX, and then there will be any direct VX contact. Whether it is transportation, travel guides or daily needs, the homestay will do its best to serve the guests, feel at home and walk away. At the time, I was reluctant to leave.
.
Aofengfang where the homestay is located is also a niche photo spot. It is only one step away from the former residence of Gao Shiqi. There are also the scholarly scholar Tao, the old site of Fujian Normal Academy, and the Aofeng Academy where Lin Zexu has cultivated. It has a small and fresh view. Lane Christian Church and so on. What moved me the most was the vigorously written four words ”seeking talents for the country” behind the torii of Aofengfang, paying tribute to all educators!
.
I strongly recommend everyone who comes to Fuzhou to learn about Fuzhou from here! I will definitely come again!

Perfect
DDaniel RodThe hotel is located fairly centrally in the island of Pingtan in a small village. Its exterior is nicely decorated with lights, and if you arrive late at night like we did, you’ll thank for that, as it shines like a beacon in a otherwise not very well lit street.
The service shone from the beginning. One of the staff was ready to help us with our luggage and show us in, and there was no delay with the registration of my passport (something that as any foreigner that has travelled in the Chinese Mainland will be able to tell, is not something to take for granted), and was immediately added to WeChat, where through the entire trip I was kept updated on everything relevant to us as guests, from the time breakfast was ready, to the fact that a guest with a dog was going to stay in a room next to ours (to which they offered to change if we needed in case any of us was scared or allergic to dogs). Breakfast was always kept warm for us, even when we were coming down late and were not expecting it to be there, and in general the staff’s attitude was always what you would expect in a bigger, more established (and more expensive) hotel, but with a home-stay twist.
The hotel is not very close to any scenic spot or touristic destination, but they offer a service of e-bike rental that we used through the trip, and that we’d recommend to anybody is staying here as it took transportation off the list of things we had to think about, and allowed us to fully take advantage of the central location of the inn. With 2 people per bike, going very far North, or South to the city (sometimes both in one trip), we never ran too close to empty our batteries.
The room was clean, big enough, and as we were staying on the last floor and our door opened to a patio, very well ventilated. The patio also proved to be a nice place to sit and chill or eat, and I was able to make work I had to finish feel less of a sore in the middle of my holidays. The only things I’d add or change to the room experience are a place to hang clothes (there wasn’t any closet or the sort), the toilet paper (they offered tissues but they don’t feel the same when you want to, you know, keep your hands clean), and real towels (they offer disposable towels, but they’re just not the same).
In conclusion, not only I would come back but I most certainly will, as I had an amazing trip and this inn played no small part in it. Would 100% recommend if you like less noisy, more home stay-ey atmosphere, and don’t mind to be a few minutes drive from the city.
GGuest UserI am so satisfied. I have been choosing hotels in Fuzhou for a long time and finally settled on this one. First of all, the location is excellent, right in Sanfangqixiang. Secondly, the hotel service is really good. When checking in, I will offer tea and then be led to the hotel by a dedicated person. The room also comes with late-night snacks. When booking the room, it only includes two breakfasts, but the hotel provides breakfast for two children for free. Other hotels require additional charges. Welcome fruits have been placed in the room in advance. , very fresh. Afternoon tea will be delivered to the room, which is also great. There is a tea room in the room with a small courtyard outside. The bathroom is also large and clean. The toiletries are from L'Occitane, as well as makeup remover towels and compressed towels. It is really full of details. It's full. There are free coffee, jasmine tea, etc. in the hotel lobby. You can also get stamps. They also gave you souvenirs when you checked out. If you come to Fuzhou in the future, you will choose this hotel again.
AAnonymous UserBefore I arrive, I will call to ask when I will arrive. When I check in as the temperature in Fuzhou has cooled down in the past two days, I will hand over a cup of hot tea. The lady at the front desk has upgraded the room by a few wood for free and provided three breakfasts! ! It will also remind you that there will be good night porridge in the evening. Two bottles of water were given as a gift when checking out. The service was really warm. The breakfast is very rich, and the lady who serves Xia Lao Hua is also very enthusiastic. You can choose it yourself and then iron it immediately. The number plate vibrates and you can take it, which is very convenient! The hot spring park opposite also has a very good environment, which is suitable for strolling around to eat after a meal🥳
FFoucaultI enjoyed my stay at Atour greatly. There was a warm welcome from the moment
I arrived in the form of a welcome smile and a hot cup of tea. The little
wheeled-robots that walk around and call themselves 'xaio peng you'
are sweet. The thing that matter to me when staying in a hotel is the level
of peace and quiet that can be obtained. Levels of both of these were great
at this hotel primarily because of the build-quality of the building;
no over-hearing the person in the room next door at this hotel. Staff
are also non-intrusive and allow you to rest in their quest to keep the
hotel clean. I will be using this hotel again when in Fuzhou next. Thanks.

RRedmounDisappointed by the hotel, ok with the hot springs
We spent a night there to enjoy the hot springs. It wasn't very clear in the beginning that the Huiya hotsprings were actually within the hotel's building. The only way to reach the facility is by taxi because even if there are buses (only one line 331) they come once in a while. It was difficult to get back to the city, we had to walk to the little town and wait bus and also keep calling a didi which eventually came...
The service at the reception wasn't as good as should be. They couldn't even find the reservation I made, just because it was a foreigner name. No English at all, which I can understand but even communicating in chinese wasn't that smooth.
The room was average, honestly we were expecting much better quality, the TV was old and small, no movies, nothing. There was mildew in on the wall.
We were expecting to go to the gym as the facility said was available on the description but no open gym, we couldn't even find it, the reception guys didn't even know where it was located.
We thought we could have free or discounted access to the hot springs (considered the price of one night!!) but just a slightly lower price.
The hotsprings were ok, honestly we were expecting a bit of variety of baths like with aromas or oils.. But no, just water and 2 different temperatures. Differences were in size and temperature. One bath was bigger with a stone bed to relax.
No free snacks or drinks (except water but no cups in every water dispenser), even if the service book in the room said there were available.
Every thing was to pay. No other meal included besides breakfast. We tried to have dinner, the menu was only in chinese and no many options available. So we had to go to the town to find food.
Breakfast was the best part, very rich and complete. The only really good thing we found there.
Overall relaxing days and night, but for thw price we paid we could have had a better service experience.
Also for the hotsprings, I visited better and cheaper ones elsewhere.
I wouldn't recommend it, I would stay to another nearby facility and come only for the hotsprings
MMark O’ConnorI’m a foreigner, from Canada. No affiliation to this hotel.
Location is perfect. Maybe 5km from the airport. I took Didi from the airport just after midnight, and it cost 20rmb. Not sure how long it took… maybe a little over 10 minutes. I guess 15 minutes would be the maximum time needed at any time of day. It could be faster.
Front desk service was very friendly, polite, and quick. The girl didn’t use English, but she used translation software. Very easy check-in. I only waited about 4 or 5 minutes for the guest in front of me, and the girl was going fast and apologized a couple times. Very nice service.
The room is great. It’s super clean, and everything looks new. It’s not a large room, but it’s totally fine for my layover to get several hours sleep before I go back to the airport in the morning. I’m in the basic room and paying about 250rmb. I’m very happy with this price for what I’m getting.
The bed is firm, but not too firm. I like it. I’ll sleep well I think. Honestly, I’m a bit surprised at how nice this is for the price. I doubt this location is great if people want to stay a few days and do sightseeing, but I’m not sure. I think for an airport layover this is fantastic. That’s why I wanted to write this review before I moved on and forgot about this.
I didn’t order the breakfast, so I can’t comment.
They also offer a free shuttle at 5am, 6am, 7am and 8am. I will probably use Didi because those times are a bit off for my 9:30am flight, but I think that service is great.
Great hotel, and so far, it’s very quiet at night. No noise. I will definitely choose this place again if I need a hotel close to Fuzhou airport for a layover.
OOLEKSANDRAThe hotel is located a little far from the subway station. The design is interesting. The wall in the bedroom is made of glass like a window that faces inside, so you can see the hallway of the hotel. The room has two levels. The bathroom and tea table are downstairs and the bedrooms are upstairs. It’s quite noisy in the room. After I checked in, I’ve found that the shower is broken. While the receptionist was dealing with fixing it, I was about to make a cup of tea when I saw the tea cups were super dirty! The receptionist said she was very sorry and went away to change the cups. She said she would bring me fruits as an apology but I refused. In the morning I woke up from a loud sound and vibration. It feels like a huge boiler room or a huge ventilator is upstairs, so this sound started at around 8 a.m. and was lasting forever. It’s super annoying. I had a feeling I am on an airplane. When I called a receptionist to explain what that sound is and possible mute it - nobody came. After 15 minutes I went downstairs again, the receptionist asked me to wait more. The help was not efficient. The guy came, listened to the sound and said he would go upstairs to check what’s the source of the sound and vibration. Then he left and I started to get ready to check out. I was in a bad mood because didn’t sleep well because of the noise plus the hotel staff kept me waiting for so long after my request to help.
Overall it’s ok if you’re not a person who gets easily annoyed by imperfections and sounds.
GGuest UserWe arrived at around 11pm at airport and have taken their minivan to the hotel which probably leaves at every 30minutes. They have regular minivan and big bus for airport pick up and delivery to airport. It was super easy experience. Room was clean and receptionists were very friendly. I saw pilots were checking out, they have agreement with airlines for transfer passengers and staff. Highly recommend this place.
SShirPro: Service was attentive and room design OK. Cleaning on point. Location is convenient but not amazing.
Con: No safe available in the room! Some furniture looked dirty or worn out. At night the street is full of coal smoke from nearby grilled meat skewer places. There was only one roll of toilet paper.
