位置很好，在Galle fort老城的西側靠近城牆。酒店建築本身原本是要塞兵營，據説後來作為郵局使用，現在是酒店但業主無法改變原來的結構。
酒店有南北兩個Tower，各有一個露台，北塔的露台屬於房間私享的，我們訂的就是這間。房間不大，適合兩人住，但這個露台太讚了，可以俯瞰西海岸和附近的城牆、堡壘、熱鬧的街區。一早一晚在露台小坐一會兒，吹着印度洋的小風，舒服。
酒店三樓的其他房間更大，可以通過迴廊眺望西海岸。底層的院子綠植盎然，斑駁的院牆訴説著他的歷史，藍白色系的裝飾又有點地中海風格。有住在museum裏的感覺。
我們帶着小孩，店家免費給我們升級更大的房型，不過我們仍然選擇了帶露台的小房間。服務不錯，基本上有求必應。走的那天，已經退房了，在老城閑逛，正趕上瓢潑大雨，淋了一身，回酒店老闆立馬給了乾淨毛巾、又要開間房給我們換衣服。
早餐的豐盛超出了預期，新鮮水果、各式煎蛋、主食、飲料和酸奶，我們再一次點多了😅然後吃不了的打包，變成了中午的簡餐。
有趣的旅行體驗，似乎置身於地中海小鎮中。

This is a gorgeous little retreat in Galle. The rooms are great, and if you have a room with a balcony, then even better. The Bartizan hotel is just 100m from the Indian Ocean and Galle Fort history. There are a lot of cafes, bars, restaurants, coffee shops as well as all the your usual shop needs. A great place for a visit on a Sri Lankan holiday circuit.

Wonderful stay. We had the room with a terrace overlooking the sea so had a glorious view of the sunset. The room was small but very nicely decorated with all the facilities we needed and a comfortable bed. The staff were delightful, very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was amazing

Nous avons passé une nuit dans la suite familiale (deux vrais lits pour les enfants ce qui est rare au Sri Lanka), très spacieuse et agréable, avec une jolie vue sur les remparts. L’hôtel est idéalement situé et le service impeccable. Je recommande !

Ausgezeichnetes Hotel und sehr effizientes und freundliches Personal. Die Lage des Hotels ist bestens um die Altstadt zu erkunden. Das Familienzimmer war großzügig und stilvoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war großartig mit viel Obst und ein bisschen von allem. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir können den Aufenthalt sehr empfehlen.

Lovely welcome from all staff when we arrived, we enjoyed a welcome drink whilst we waited for our room to be ready. Great location by the edge of the Galle fort. Room was well maintained and the pillows on the bed made the night stay very comfortable and cosy. This is a great place to stay for a short stay in Galle.

Biggest room with private balcony, very comfortable bed, great location great breakfast we had eggs Benny was so good, the room was huge and you just in prime location for shopping or exploring the town, also swim beach just outside the hotel
