位置很好，在Galle fort老城的西側靠近城牆。酒店建築本身原本是要塞兵營，據説後來作為郵局使用，現在是酒店但業主無法改變原來的結構。
酒店有南北兩個Tower，各有一個露台，北塔的露台屬於房間私享的，我們訂的就是這間。房間不大，適合兩人住，但這個露台太讚了，可以俯瞰西海岸和附近的城牆、堡壘、熱鬧的街區。一早一晚在露台小坐一會兒，吹着印度洋的小風，舒服。
酒店三樓的其他房間更大，可以通過迴廊眺望西海岸。底層的院子綠植盎然，斑駁的院牆訴説著他的歷史，藍白色系的裝飾又有點地中海風格。有住在museum裏的感覺。
我們帶着小孩，店家免費給我們升級更大的房型，不過我們仍然選擇了帶露台的小房間。服務不錯，基本上有求必應。走的那天，已經退房了，在老城閑逛，正趕上瓢潑大雨，淋了一身，回酒店老闆立馬給了乾淨毛巾、又要開間房給我們換衣服。
早餐的豐盛超出了預期，新鮮水果、各式煎蛋、主食、飲料和酸奶，我們再一次點多了😅然後吃不了的打包，變成了中午的簡餐。
有趣的旅行體驗，似乎置身於地中海小鎮中。

Great location and ideal for a walk around the fort area. Building and courtyard area was full of character. Breakfast was brilliant and the service was wonderful!

I stayed with my family at The Bartizan Galle Fort at the begining of our trip around Sri Lanka. We had a family room with a balcony and views of the fort walls and the ocean which were maginifcant. Our stay included a delicious and generous breakfast which we took on the roof terrace while watching the moorning walkers and ocean view. A plate of fresh fruits, fruit juice, toast, croissant, and a choice of Sri Lankan breakfast or eggs. During our stay all the staff were extremely attentive and very helfful from Andrew, the manager, to the securuty gaurd who was by his post from morning to night with a huge smile on his face. An unforgettable experience and If you can afford the price tag I highly recommend a stay at The Bartizan.

Vi opgraderede vores værelse og fik det smukkeste rum overhovedet. Det var super rummeligt og smukt. Personalet var virkelig søde og servicemindede. Morgenmaden var toplækker og placeringen perfekt!
