Very conveniently located and good value accommodation. Good sized room with en-suite kettle for tea/coffee and also communal area with seating and further tea/cofffee making and microwave. No breakfast provided as such but complimentary mini croissants was a nice touch. Very clean. Friendly reception for part of the day.

The room has a large bed and an extra bed. The space is average, but it is enough. Free parking, walking the wall for nearly 10 minutes. The old town found a Michelin Mediterranean restaurant for dinner in the evening, and it will start after 8:30. The children ate a few mouthfuls because of the jet lag and fell asleep. The restaurant helped to call the taxi back to the hotel for 7.5 Euros, which is actually very close.

I'm very satisfied with the room. It's a 10-minute walk from Girona train station. You can order Chinese takeaways and the breakfast is also very rich.

The fantastic experience started on the phone, when the lady answering it accepted booking a triple room for a couple with two young kids. VERY NICE indeed. Once at the hotel, the reception desk was VERY welcoming. Responded to all questions we had with extreme kind and elegance. I was surprised. I did not take their names (feb 17-19 will establish their names) but two young ladies and a young gentleman at the desk are outstanding at their jobs.

The decor of this budget hotel is fairly basic, as you might expect. The bed was, oddly, a double bed with a children's bunk on top of it, reached by a ladder. It was fairly quiet, with some stomping from above before midnight, but then nothing. There was a fairly good window blocking noise from outside (it was a ground floor room). The A/C was also nice and quiet. The bed was comfortable, once you got past the ladder, but it's easy to hit your head on it and it obstructs the view of the (small) TV, which is not pointed properly towards the bed. The shower cubicle is wide, but pointlessly so, because the shower isn't powerful enough to reach very far. You can also easily turn off the water with your bottom, which I hate. There were some spots of mould on the ceiling, and the fan doesn't work - two possibly not unrelated facts. The breakfast was good, with lots of options. Extrañamente, la cama doble tenía una litera encima para niños, que se alcanza a través de una escalera. La habitación era bastante silenciosa, con algunos pisotones audibles desde arriba antes de medianoche, pero luego nada. Tenía una ventana bastante buena que aislaba del ruido de fuera (estaba en la planta baja). El aire acondicionado también era bastante silencioso. La cama era cómoda, a pesar de la escalera, pero es fácil darse con la cabeza contra ella, y obstruye la visión de la téle (pequeña), que no está bien orientada hacia la cama. La ducha es amplia, pero inútilmente, porque la baja potencia y ángulo de la ducha te obliga a estar pegado a un lado, donde es fácil apagar el agua con el culo (algo que odio). Hay moho en el techo y el ventilador no funciona, dos hechos que sospecho que están relacionados. El desayuno era bueno, con bastantes opciones. Great hotel, very nice pool, staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner was brilliant and very reasonable, we ate there two out of four nights. Lots on the menu, even whole monkfish tail. Massive steaks too. Breakfast was so-so but standard pricing. The location is great if you’re mobile but the bus stop is just across the road so you can get into town easily either way (about a 20 minute walk, less than ten minutes on the bus). If you’re looking to visit the beaches, be prepared for a journey as they are very far away and hard to navigate via public transport. Taxis are expensive. The hotel staff printed the timetables off for us because they wouldn’t show on Google Map. Highly recommended though. We went snorkelling and sea kayaking and saw octopus and explored caves. Only negative to say about the hotel is that they charge for the hot tub and it’s €7 per person. Felt like it should be included but maybe you get a specific amount of slots based on your length of stay? Didn’t seem like anyone was booking it and I imagine it’s because most people feel it should be included.

Buenas tardes. Me llamo Isabel. Me alojé en Masía Can Pou dos noches en Agosto con una amiga. Me encantó la masía en todos los aspectos: es un lugar hermoso, llenos de paz y tranquilidad,donde puedes relajarte leyendo libros interesantes que tienen allí, jugar a juegos, correr por el entorno de la masía, que es muy bonito,bañarte en su piscina contemplando el valle y disfrutar de su deliciosa comida casera tanto en los desayunos como en las cenas. Eirene y Donatello nos trataron a mi amiga y a mí maravillosamente bien. Nos hicieron sentir como en casa y les estoy muy agradecida. Además, desde allí se pueden visitar Peratallada, Pals, Girona, Castellfollit de la Roca y otros lugares de interés culturas, así como montar a caballo en hípicas cercanas, hacer rutas en bicicleta o bañarte en la Costa Brava. Being a 4 stars hotel that brands itself as a calm and relaxing place they should warn you when booking the room if the dates you want to go there is an special event as a wedding. We are staying here this weekend and there is an Irish wedding with more than 50 people around ocupying all the public spaces as the swimming pool, the bar… and there is no calm nor relax at all. Yesterday we had to leave the swiming pool because of the noise and the crowded space where was impossible to read, talk or even swim. As a small comment a 4 star hotwl should have tooth brush and other details in the rooms… where there is nothing than a veeery small bottle of water. Breakfast is ok
