Karadut Cave Hotel

We got a huge room with 4 beds for 2 people! the room was in a cave shape with a very big bathroom which was well equipped with the toiletries. We only used 1 of the beds but since there was only 1 chair, the extra beds were pretty useful. The Since our room was massive, it was located on the ground floor so we did not get a balcony but we did get a huge porch kind of thing with a motor bike parked in it which was pretty cool. For those living on upper floors, there is no lift so be prepared to carry your luggage up and down the stairs. That's the case for most hotels in Cappadocia since they are built in caves and inside mountains. Toiletries included soap, body wash, shampoo, hair dryer, towels, slippers, mat, toilet paper and warm water. There were about 3-4 different small terraces with different types of seating areas which were pretty cool for taking pictures. All the balloons are very well visible from the hotel terrace so you don't have to go anywhere else to see them. You can get a good view of the entire city since the hotel is on top of a mountain. There are only 10 rooms in the hotel so it's not very busy and you can get your own space pretty much anywhere in the property. It was like staying at your grandma's heritage property and made us feel very homely. The road outside the hotel is partially paved with a maximum of 2 car parking spaces and couple of scooters since the street is pretty narrow. Breakfast was Turkish platter with fruits, cheese, dips, cereals, breads, olives, French toast, tea, coffee, juice and water. We did not have dinner at the hotel so cant say anything about that. Overall the stay was pleasant because of the authentic cave room that we got as per our expectation. Disliked: The room had everything except for the tea, coffee, water and water kettle. These were only available on the roof top restaurant for free all day but not in the room so we had to climb 2 stories every time to get a cup of coffee or water. The first water bottle provided in the room is free after that you can have from the restaurant or buy your own. There was 1 tiny window in the very big room so most of the time it was pretty dark, even in the day. We had to switch on each and every lamp in the room. Although that's expected in a cave hotel but then there was no view as from the room. In general our stay was pleasant but we felt that we overpaid for what we got. We would be much happier with the same stay if it was a little cheaper. We are making this comparison with other hotels in Turkey with similar facilities.
Kookaburra Pension

Visited with my daughter for a 3 night break. The staff at the Kookaburra are so friendly and helpful. They booked our sunrise balloon ride in advance of us arriving, advised us on places to visit and routes to take. The rooms are beautiful, so characterful, extremely clean and comfortable. The buffet Turkish breakfast is fresh and plentiful. The views from the seating areas are spectacular. The pension is within walking distance of the town, bit hilly, but that's the landscape. I have only positive things to say about the Kookaburra, and highly recommend staying there.
Kaya Konak Cave

What an amazing hotel. And I am not speaking about just how beautiful the cave room was and how amazing the view was from the terrace. I am also talking about how accommodating all the staff were. We had all our activities and pick ups and drop offs booked for us by the owner/manager as well as many perfect recommendations. We also had them offer to organise a private tour for my friend and I to one of the underground cities. Thank you to Yaya, our tour guid, for making that a funny, interesting and educational experience. I felt very well taken care of and am still In Contact with this hotel for possible future stays this coming winter ! Absolutely an amazing place to stay ✨
Henna Hotel

When visiting Kappa, there are two primary considerations when choosing a hotel, which are the caves and the oversized terrace. The cave is undoubtedly Kappa’s label, and the large terrace is naturally also for a better view of Kappa’s landforms and to take pictures of the beautiful balloon sky. , and ”Hanna” is undoubtedly among the best in both aspects. The cave room in ”Hanna” is very spacious. It is not as small, low and dark as we imagined. It is naturally very comfortable to live there. As for the large terrace, the terrace of ”Hanna” is really huge and is divided into several areas high and low. No matter day or night, you can have an unobstructed view of the wonderful scenery of the small town of Goreme, the core area of Kappa. Also, the breakfast at Halla is delicious. Sitting on the large terrace, you can enjoy the beautiful view of Kappa, the delicious food of Halla, and bask in the warm sunshine. It is an extremely pleasant time! But finally, I would like to add that in the rooms of the cave hotel, the WiFi signal is not very good. This is a common situation. The thick rock walls are very shielding, which should be understood! In addition, the family room we stayed in had two bedrooms. Except for the wall on half of the middle, the other half did not have any curtains or anything, which was always a bit inconvenient.

Cappadocia Sightseeing Hotel
4.3/53 Reviews
As a first time visitor to Cappadocia, and an American who speaks no Turkish, I am thrilled with how helpful the staff/owners of this hotel have been. Besides providing us with comfortable rooms with good wifi, they speak excellent English and have helped us arrange private transportation to several sites and also the Kayseri airport. (They also run a travel agency next door.) Since breakfast isn't served until after we wish to go hiking, they even provided plates for breakfast tomorrow including fruit, yogurt, bread, vegetables, cheese and meat.
