Hyatt Place Greensboro

Stayed for two nights and apparently it was graduation weekend so the hotel was busy. Too many guests for one workable elevator. It took a while to get back and forth to your room. The breakfast buffet was ok.

There essentially is no housekeeping services at this hotel. No pillows. No tv remote. The bathroom was not cleaned after the prior guest. It was disgusting. We will not being staying in another Hyatt hotel in the future.

Pretty clean hotel. Easy access in and out and in a safe area. Don't expect gluten free options for breakfast.

Arrived at the hotel to realize my company travel had booked me at the wrong Hyatt location just a few hours prior and should have been downtown. Was told by the desk that even though the reservation was just booked a few hours ago it couldn’t be transferred or canceled so I could rebook the correct Hyatt a few miles away because it was the day of. I parked and checked in and walked through the knee high grass out front to a dimly lit lobby and checked in. Once I got to my room it was extremely musty and had a strong odor. The noise from the interstate right outside is unusually loud even at a higher floor. This will be my first and last time ever staying here.

The hotel is in a good location. We arrived early for our stay and Elliot the GM allowed us to check in after driving over 6 hours. The room had great space. Next morning going down for breakfast Elliot greeted us in the lobby and remember our name. Great leadership. Very good hotel and I would stay here again in the future.

My review echos several others from August that have the SAME problems! From the moment we arrived till the moment we departed from a 3 day stay the experience was not satisfactory. The only plus was the low cost for the room, and in hindsight I would have stayed elsewhere. Pulling up to the driveway the landscaping is in bad shape and the grass was over a foot tall. The driveway is soiled and stained. At the 4th floor we were greeted out of the elevator with a pile of pizza boxes and bag of garbage, which remained there for our 3 day stay. Day one I noticed no soap or shampoo in shower dispenser and the shower drain was plugged. it never got fixed. When I mentioned it on checkout staff said oh sorry I will tell management (should have just fixed the problem). I had a reservation for September for another visit, which I've cancelled. Good customer service and a clean place to stay are minimum requirements that have not been met here, there is no excuse...
