The room is very large. The temporary transition of large luggage before school starts will be very comfortable, but it is far from the village and the school.

Breakfast is good

We loved our stay at the Hotel Grinnell! It is very comfortable, the rooms are well-designed, and the hotel was quiet. We enjoyed the preserved details from its conversion. We did hear the train pass through town as we were getting ready for bed but I don’t recall hearing it again at all during our stay. We have a chatty (ok, shouty) 8 month old baby and the soundproofing seemed great-I don’t think anyone else could hear him testing out his echo in our room! The staff is kind and friendly. We’d definitely stay again if we’re in the area!
