If you find it troublesome, you can book an all-inclusive package, including breakfast, lunch and dinner. The booking said taxes and fees were included in the price. However, I was made to pay 43.20 ECD as a “government head tax” and they would not accept that this was included. The receptionist kept us waiting for no reason and had a very dismissive manner, eg not liking the official NHS vaccination proof because she thought it should be a card. Very rude. The hotel itself was good though, very clean and comfortable. If they had receptionists with a more customer friendly manner and made clear that taxes are not included I would have given a much better review.
