This is one of the most amazing hotel buildings I've stayed in. Built right into the rock walls that this beautiful city is built upon, with tress growing up through the middle of it, a giant breakfast room with huge rack wall faces, a beautiful seating area on the fourth floor, and a gorgeous rooftop patio with amazing views of the city. The level of service at the hotel was also terrific. Some of the best I've had in Mexico. People who really wanted to take care of any issues you may have. And attentive service in the dining room. Breakfasts were very good. Not included, but a fair value, and a wonderful place to start your day. And the location is terrific. Just off the main strip, central to everything. The only downside is that the rooms are pretty average. Better than average beds, but small and not great, with lumpy pillows. It takes several minutes for hot water to make it to the room. No fridge or coffee maker. and

The other reviews have said it mostly. Let me sum up. Location. Guanajuato has much of the city unaccessable by car/taxi. This hotel has parking, down it's back street on reservation. Some other hotels you might have to carry your bags some distance. As it was, I had to carry my bags a block at midnight, and then call to be let in. It is in the city center, on a park square, with most of the public buildings, monuments, etc. When you are walking a lot coming to a home base that is close is important. A hotel off the beatin path might be nice too. The Views. None of the reviews talked about the roof of the hotel. It has some nice views that are worth the stay alone. I asked for an upper floor room, thinking I might get one of those balconies by default. No dice, but sitting on the roof was plenty consolation for the two flights of stairs. Plus, it largely cut out the noise from the square. The hot tub was out of commission though. Convenience. This is a historic hotel. Small rooms, mexican tiled bathrooms, carved wood doors. If you decided to come to Guanajuato, why would you stay in a Hilton? The hotel has a hodge podge design, of convoluted stairs and additions, that resemble the towns construction, built up over centuries. It has a beautiful old world lobby. The staff were on the spot, and helpful with old school butler efficiency, answering all questions.

It is an incredible place, of exceptional beauty. I had already met him before, however this weekend was the first time I stayed. After the reservation I read comments about the service (bordering on regular and bad) especially for the lack of hot water and uncomfortable beds, still decided to check it out for myself (and my friends) and I was fascinated. I will definitely return there. Neither my friends nor I had problems with the hot water in our rooms, or the lack of bath towels or dirty bath towels as I read in the comments, all rooms were clean, the only problem in the rooms that touched me, was the telephone that did not serve to call the reception, as for the food, well because the buffet although it is not so varied, is good and accessible price. The restaurant has an excellent view of the city, the chef and all the people who serve you are very friendly, without a doubt, a place to return.

The location of the hotel is very convenient on the side of the Union Garden, next to the Juarez Theatre, most of which can be reached within 5 or 6 minutes on foot. The hotel service was very warm, and the hotel also presented a cake as it coincided with the anniversary. The room size is not too big, and the window is Union Square. In the night, Guanajuato is still relatively cool. The hot air of the hotel air conditioner is not very strong, and it can barely ensure that the room temperature does not drop. As it was about to leave at around 9:00, the hotel started at 9am, so the hotel prepared a breakfast basket, but unfortunately it was too simple, including only an apple, a glass of juice and a biscuit.

Located in the center of Guacheng, right at the university entrance. The alley is a joint square, next to plaza la paz. Breakfast is eaten in another shop diagonally opposite. A little bit cold, I mean the place for breakfast. The room is quite big, two large beds. The amount of hot water in the bathroom is sufficient. The disadvantage is that there will be a motor sound of the water tank pump at night. Good health, the beauty of the front desk is not very good, but the enthusiasm is beautiful. Take a taxi to the airport about 400-450mxn, uber around 250-350, more than half an hour, to cross several tunnels. Recommended

The hotel is very close to the city center and there are many restaurants nearby. It's very lively at night, the sound insulation of the room is mediocre, you can clearly hear the noisy sounds from outside in the room, my boyfriend thinks it's a bit noisy, but I still like to listen to this lively and happy atmosphere occasionally. The hotel has a lift, but our room was only accessible by stairs, which is not very convenient if you have a heavy suitcase. There are some chairs at the door of our room, and several employees sit and chat on them. We can hear their voices clearly in the room, and I'm not sure if they can also hear our conversations in the room. And they chatted there again early the next morning, and I was woken up by their chatter. I hope the hotel can tell them not to chat at the door of the room where guests are staying.

A very beautiful hotel with a very small door opening. It is a little inconvenient to park in a narrow road at the entrance, but it is still possible to quickly drop off your luggage. We have been hosting Hotels Indigo in several cities, such as London, Madrid and Paris, they are always very good, but the most beautiful and best of all is the one of Guanajuato. The location is excellent, very easy to access and practically in the centre, you can reach walking to many important sites of Guanajuato. A huge advantage is that you have a parking right there, you get the car to a very fast one and whenever we asked you to go out, they took it immediately. From the entrance to the parking, everything is beautiful, there are beautiful details and very good taste everywhere. We booked this knowing it was not in the Centro area of the city. We wanted peace and quiet. The hotel itself is dated but clean and the views are wonderful. The pool was somewhat dirty and there were many missing tiles on the bottom which made us pass on that to avoid cut feet. Our first night we were blown out of bed at 3:15 which so much noise, yelling, screaming, slamming doors and people outside out door on cell phones. We learned that 2 tour busses arrived and it was a large, loud group checking in. Breakfast was confusing with the large group in house but once served it was ok, however we did not understand what was and was not included so we were charged for our ”free breakfast”. We carried on, went out for the day and returned around 3 for a nap and once again the group came back from their tour of the day and the hotel was loud and napping was not an option. We packed up, forfeited out second paid night and left for a hotel in Centro which proved to be so much nicer and quieter even right on one of the plazas. Lesson learned.

I really enjoyed my short stay at this hotel - the ”all-you-can-ride” funicular pass was great for getting to and from the city center. Awesome views from the nearby Pipila Monument (and some of the rooms). You have to go down some stairs and walk through a bazaar to get to the hotel from the taxi drop off by the monument. If you are traveling light, it might be easier to catch a taxi in the center and ride the funicular to/from the hotel since the entrance is right by the upper terminal. Excessive luggage would not fit in the funicular car. I definitely appreciated being somewhat removed from the action (and noise) below on a raucous Saturday night. Hotel staff was very nice. Room was not luxurious by any means, but the bed was comfortable and plumbing worked. Wifi was absolutely dreadful and unreliable. Bring a SIM card if you need internet access during your stay!

我們一家三口都是成人就定了這個小型套房，因房型的原因，在一樓。二樓風景更好但是不符合我們的要求，酒店地處瓜納華託最中心地帶，剛到的那天就有遊行隊伍經過門前。酒店隔音設施很好，所以地處鬧市也不用擔心影響睡眠。而且層高非常高，頂樓有露天酒吧，給了我們優惠券，晚上去喝了香檳。露天酒吧可以看到皮皮拉雕像，也就是最高的那座山。酒店的中庭空間很大很有設計感，可以坐着休閑。早餐是點餐服務，很好吃。

Clean, comfortable, simple rooms in local neighborhood. Beds are comfortable and shower is hot. The host is extremely helpful and the breakfast on the terrace is lovely. This is not an ordinary hotel but a converted house on top of one of the hills of Guanajuato. It is a steep walk up and down. The 2 flights of circular stairs to the terrace are not for everyone but once you are there the views are spectacular.
