Not a bad hotel, but for price and convenience, wouldn’t recommend. We got there at 3pm in time for check in, but they told us they needed another hour to clean the room, we insisted and then suddenly there was another room available hmm.. and also they’re the only hotel out of the 4 during our trip, that did not want to deliver takeouts to the room. I guess with the wide selections of takeouts on **, it’s really difficult for them to sell a RMB 150 plate of fried rice. During our check out, the manager came over to ask for feedbacks, we expressed our dissatisfaction for him to tell us that we should understand it’s a very busy hotel haha, he then just casually without saying a word, walked away.

Super clean. Got a welcome card and a box of tasty treats upon arrival. Located within walking distance to many cafes and restaurants. I stayed here two nights for work . Would return with my family for pleasure since there seems a lot to explore. The bedding was nice quality though the mattress a bit too hard for my taste.

The hotel is relatively new with clean and well-equipped rooms. The hotel's location is at the center of Guangzhou City, with easy access to both business and tourist centers and also to connect to the fast train at Guangzhou East Train station. The servicing staff are outstanding and very helpful to us. The breakfast serving is just adequate with nice coffee and other beverages served. The gym room is just good enough when not too many guests want to exercise at one time. The price of the spa is far more expensive for the lodging guests, I wish that discounts could be given to elders and also guests who would stay more than 1 day/night. The room temperature can't be regulated to be cooler so the duvet/blanket is too thick and too warm at night, I slept badly over the two nights of my stay due to being too hot because I had to be covered by the provided. summer duvet on the bed. Thank you.

Breakfast even worse than local Chinese brand, cannot believed they subcontract to outside restaurant in ICC mall for breakfast…. Hotel room air conditioning they locked the function….you opened the air con then only provided heat but unable to control the temperature which made me sweat all night…..l even paid for more than Sheraton but l can’t slept well and don’t have control for the air conditioning which is totally ********.

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice before and if you’re going to be visiting Guangzhou for something that will keep you busy most of the day (like business or sight seeing) this is really all that you need. The hotel is very well located and right at Shaipaiqiao metro station (just make sure that you take the Exit D, turn left and enter from the rear of the building going up to reception on the 7th floor). The rooms are small but don’t feel cramped and are well cleaned. The hotel has has all the amenities that you need including a self service laundry station on the 8th floor. Although there is no breakfast served, the hotel is next to several malls, has a McDonalds and FamilyMart very close by and has several small restaurants in the basement. The hotel is also excellent value most of the time, just keep an eye out around the Canton Fair dates as prices can often quadruple like most other hotels. I would recommend it and will definitely stay again.

I have not brough any cash since I though I already prepaid and China International Airport somehow can not take card from others countries so I almost have to spend the night on the chair somewhere but the lady was so helpful. She did her best and I managed to have one room. It is a bit small but it is at the airport so I couldn't ask for more. Thank again for the lady who has helped me.

Stayed at the Citynote guangyuanqian Hotel. The lobby staff is friendly and helpful. The bed in family room type is solid and not those soft soft type. Good for resting. Hotel location is great. Nearby metro station and most of the place of interest are actually within walking distance. When coming out of the hotel, turning left can reach 大佛寺， famous tim sum restaurants, turning right will lead to another famous 惠福东路 food street. 30 mins to airport by taxi (about RMB 147 to 180).

It's good to choose this hotel if you have an early flight. By the hotel free shuttle bus it takes around 10 min to get to the Baiyun airport. That's convenient. The rest of the things, well, the hotel is quite worn out. The area around isn't clean, the road is terrible if you decide to go to the closest subway station, which isn't actually close, 15 min on foot.

Very nice and beautiful hotel. They had almost all facilities in the room. Beautiful view from the room, lobby and restaurant. One minus point is that they have a kitchenette but no utensils, plates, cutlery. It was difficult to use the kitchen and we ended up buying some utensils to use.

This room can be recommended, so I stayed here for the second time because the company moved, otherwise I would stay here forever. The bathroom is very clean and not wet or dirty. The balcony can be used to dry clothes without getting wet. was abit sceptical due to some of the reviews but was totally wrong! Ocean is in-between 2 stations, some 5-8mins walk away but wasn't that bad as these 2 stations are on L5 and L6 that connects to attractions easily and just 3 bus stop away from aPM. there's a few eateries near OuZhuang station that's worth checking out it. As for the hotel itself, its clean and of good size. Housekeeping is done daily and changes out all the towels, bedsheets. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Tried both Chinese restaurant and the food is good. You can good view on 27th restaurant, able to see Canto Tower and Baiyun Mountain. All in all, a good hotel to stay in!

Overall, our stay was comfortable and pleasant. Just had some expectations, based on my stay in Pudong in Crowne Plaza, was kind of expecting a little more. Breakfast spread for vegetarians was limited, kind of manageable, but ambience was weak. Rooms were very comfortable but appeared little old. So again, all in all fair, but time to change a little is due.

The biggest hotel I’ve stayed in Guangzhou. Was very happy to see the huge room with a separate living area, bathtub, separate shower and toilet. Then the leakage happened. What a shame, don’t know why there is a flood whenever we use the shower. The bathtub, toilet area and sink area is fine, but the water will flood most of the toilet floor after shower, and the worst is there will be a foul smell that comes after. Shower room is just next to the beds, so we ensure the shower door is shut when we sleep to keep the smell away. Other than the shower mishap, everything is perfect, I was surprised to see they even have different charging lines near the dresser and the tv area, very thoughtful!Location is the best, shopping plaza just across the road with a delicious dim sum restaurant on the 2nd floor, be sure to go early, I reached close to 11am and que for almost an hour to get a seat. The super market in the shopping plaza is expensive but the bread offers buy 2 free 1 if you go after 8pm, the bread is so tasty, I brought back to sg and ate for 2 days it still taste very good. Bought kiwis and persimmon back to sg and both taste very good as well. Subway is just 3 mins away and easily to get taxis from the hotel or from the roadside. Walk about 30 mins to qing hui yuan, one of the famous garden in Guangzhou, visit the huang fei hong and ye wen gallery. Take the subway 2 stops to Beijing bu xing jie, plenty of shops and vibrant place, it’s a must go. Really love the location of this old hotel, so convenient and surrounded by shopping and eateries, just need to make sure to have a shower room that doesn’t leak.

Jumeirah living is great experience for apartment services. We actually like jumeirah hotel more but we wanted to experience apartment aswell. Apartment has its own charm. It was very clean, enjoyed the jacuzzi bath. The space is huge and with all the necessary equipments. We couldn’t order the food from the hotel but we could order online food which was convenient aswell. The swimming pool is always the best thing to do in jumeirah. I think it’s the best pool in Guangzhou w tropical trees and vertical gardens. Very relaxing. And breakfast is amazing Egg Benedict . The ambiance is great. Jumeirah is very good with garden landscapes even in restaurant all the plants are real. And the most highlight is the live performer. We realized in the end that music was actually live performance. Highly recommended hotel. Best hotel in Guangzhou.

This time I stayed in a girl's quadruple room. Fortunately, it was good and cheap. It was very close to the destination I was going to. I liked its location very much. It was very convenient to wash and sleep. The key was that the price was really cheap. The girls in the same room were also very nice. This is the level that the Youth Hostel should have. Exceptional hotel with prime location for fair visiting. Connected to the Expo Complex with footbridge on 3/F. I was given a corner room with 270 degrees view of the city for one night. Room service was delicious and just what I needed to recharge after a full day of booth browsing. Buffet breakfast was outstanding and plenty to keep me going for the rest of the day without lunch. Staff were friendly and helpful. Elevator may get crowded and takes a while to queue when guests flooded back after each day. Westin had an exclusive golf cart shuttle across the footbridge but unfortunately no driver was available during my stay. Overall I'd rate this hotel 95/100 and will definitely return for the next fair.

I book twin suite room at 35% price of Shangri-la Hotel which is near to exhibition area too. It was a business visit so I did not have any high expectations. Room was very nice and spacious and there was a washing machine, microwave and many electric sockets. Room had big french windows directly facing the Exhibition area. Best part of the stay was its distance to Exhibition and it just took me 10 minutes walk to reach C Area and another 10 minutes to reach B Area through the bridge. There are not many restaurants near the hotel. Just 3-4 behind the hotel so I preferred calling food from wechat and had to go down to collect it. Overall it was a nice stay and I would like to come back during exhibition time again.

The room is well design and the air conditioning was very effective. Level 30 has got a laundry machine and entirely free. The Uncle doing the area cleaning on level 30 upstairs even helped me do a changeover from washing machine to air dryer while I went down for a bowl of 云吞面. My room was kept really clean daily. The housekeeping lady did a great job in room 1815. Pity that i cannot remember her name. The reception was helpful and one of them 梁小姐 look after me well. Will certainly recommend to anyone if the standards can be maintained.
