Find Guest house in Kyoto

It's very close to Kyoto Station, but you need to walk through it to get there. We walked a long way from the outside... The environment is good and the room is the largest among the hotels we stayed in this time. There is no difficulty in self-check-in, the hygiene is also very good, there is a balcony where you can see the Kyoto Tower, and the price-performance ratio is super high!

We stayed in this apartment for approximately a week and had no issues, it’s close to public transport and was always clean. Note there is a small tourist tax fee to pay on arrival and they do not have a card machine so make sure you have some cash handy

Convenient and close to the subway station. Higashi Honganji Temple is nearby. Just a short walk will take you to the lively places around Kyoto Station. I thought it was a very nice place. I stayed for 3 nights in a quiet Japanese-style room that felt like an annex. I was able to spend my time calmly. The staff's response was also polite and positive. He didn't answer the phone very often (lol) If I come to Kyoto again, I would like to use it again. thank you very much! The photo shows the alley from the station to the rest house. I traveled alone, and booked the place for the attractions and places I wanted to visit. The landlord was a Chinese, but it was much better than I expected. The room was very clean, with air conditioning, wifi, slippers and towels. The bathroom and toilet were shared, and the bathroom equipment was very advanced. Although the bathroom only had a shower, it was also very clean. Oh, there were two washbasins and toilets, so there was no embarrassment of waiting for the toilet. The public area also provided refrigerators, microwaves, tables, etc., which was very convenient. The area nearby was not as crowded as the bustling area, but there were convenience stores and restaurants, and the transportation was also good. The bus stops were all nearby for 1 minute, and the subway was not far away. It is recommended to buy a one-day transportation card after you come here. The bus here is very expensive. The most worth mentioning is that when I came, the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, just next to the embankment near her house, it was very beautiful, and it felt like I was in a painting or anime. It was very suitable for walking, picnics and taking pictures. I was in a hurry, otherwise I really wanted to sit there and sleep or something. As I mentioned before, the proprietress is Chinese, a very nice lady. I am the kind of person who must complete what I have prepared, so I arrived very late. The lady didn't blame me, which made me feel embarrassed, as I strained a muscle and my knee injury hasn't fully healed. But she also paid attention to me, especially when I was in a foreign country, and took me to find the subway and so on. In short, this place is pretty good.

It was so enjoyable to stay here. There is a traditional rekan with all attributes to feel really Japanese culture. The hotel is located in quite area, around 15 minutes from Kyoto station. The administration explained all the rules that you should know. It has very thin walls so it’s possible to hear the neighbors, but for one night it was pretty ok. There is shower, toilet and sink in the room. Also teapot, teabags and hair dryer, so it’s very comfortable to live here. I appreciate to stay in such a hotel, thanks for great experience.

The hotel is in a quiet alley. The boss and the proprietress are Chinese. There is no communication barrier, the attitude is excellent, serious and responsible, and very enthusiastic. Our family travel method, a family of 3, the boss upgraded the room type for free. The rooms are fully equipped, clean and hygienic, and there is a public kitchen. It is very comfortable and has a taste of home. I will stay here in Kyoto in the future.

This homestay satisfies all my illusions about the homestay. In the core area of Kyoto, it is a three-minute walk away. It is the Yasaka Shrine, Zhienyuan, Kiyomizu Temple. After going to Takashimaya, you can walk back and put down things and continue to eat and eat. I made an appointment for dinner at Junaijing, and it took 5 minutes to go to the right. It was not too convenient. The rooms are beautifully decorated and well equipped. The children see the tatami room rolling excitedly... The whole family is satisfied with this travel choice.

We chose this ryokan because of the affordable price and location. When we arrived, our bags had been placed in our room (we'd sent them from our previous hotel via the takkyubin service), which was a nice touch. The room felt very small for the two of us. There was basically just enough floor space for our two futons laid out right next to each other. However, there is a large closet where they normally store the futons that we were able to use to store our luggage and other items when we rolled out the futons. The futons were very thin; I felt like I was pretty much just sleeping on the floor and it was rather uncomfortable. We got one of the private rooms so we would have our own bathroom but again, the bathroom was very small. Of course, we didn't spend a ton of time in the room anyway as we were out and about most of the time so the small space was not a dramatic downside. The neighborhood was quiet, which we liked, and the staff were very friendly. We had the western-style breakfast a couple mornings and it was quite good! All in all, it is an affordable stay in Kyoto, but I can't say that it is the most comfortable option. I would also warn that if you are looking specifically for a great ryokan experience and not just for a place to crash, this might not be the type of place you're looking for.

Like at home! Fantastic! The position is ok, not so far from city centre, in a quiet and beautiful zone. The host are very very gentle, they help you in everithing! The structure is so kind and rooms and toilet are clean and confortable. The breakfast also is top!

I have lived here twice in Kyoto, and the price is very high. There are many buses at the door to go to Ping An Shen Palace, Busan and other attractions. Although it is not a 24-hour front desk, it does not affect the accommodation at all. The service is warm and intimate. I came back early to see the staff cleaning the room very seriously, so although the matter has been 4 years, I feel that the room has not changed. There are many kinds of bread for breakfast, and tea and coffee are also available 24 hours a day, which is quite convenient. The only fly in the ointment is the sound insulation. If the person next door is noisy, it will affect sleep. In addition, the air conditioner is a bit noisy, but there are free earplugs at the front desk. I will continue to live here next time!
