Basel Hotels with Gym

Basel was our final stop in Switzerland this year, a border city spanning only 24 square kilometers. Despite its border location, it's very developed and modern. **Environment:** Among hotels like Victoria, Mövenpick, Radisson, and Novotel, we chose this 3-star option. It's directly opposite the SBB train station, and the main bus terminal is just 100 meters from the lobby exit. Although it's a transport hub, the area is decent; there are a few homeless people around, but its convenience makes up for it. **Facilities:** There's no fitness center, but you can pay to use a partner facility. The lobby bar is alright, not too crowded, with a nice corner view of the street. Coffee runs between 6-7 Swiss francs. The room isn't huge, but it's fully functional, and the bathroom is quite spacious, which is great for travelers. **Cleanliness:** The common areas, like the lobby and hallways, are well-maintained, and the room was very tidy. You can definitely trust the cleanliness standards of Swiss hotels. **Service:** Check-in and check-out were both quick. Our room was ready well in advance, and luggage storage was straightforward. They provide a Basel Card, which offers free use of all city public transport and half-price entry to some museums. I didn't particularly notice any other services.

This hotel is great. The staff are very nice and helpful in every way. It has all the amenities that’s required for tourists and it’s very clean.. Breakfast was good no complaints here. They even have a QRCODE for a free ride on the tram or bus. how cool is that. They even called a taxi for us to take us to the Viking tor departure. We definitely recommend this hotel. Oh by the way it’s only five minutes walk to the center Basel..GREAT PLACE.

Excellent hotel, all at height ... The room is spacious according to Switzerland's standards. Excellent location. Good breakfast.Issued Basel Card: free transportation and 50% discount in museums, theatres and almost everything.In the room the delicious Swiss apples waited for us. On the recession water and fruit every day.

Very close to the train station, which is super convenient. The room itself was quite small, and you had to switch elevators multiple times to get to it, which was a bit of a hassle. Everything else was just okay.

This hotel is quite good in Basel across the board. There's a machine in the hallway that dispenses sparkling water and sparkling iced water. The restaurant food is excellent and portions are generous. The location is also superb; you can walk to the train station, and it's just a few stops by public transport to places like the art museum.

We were just passing through. It's a clean hotel with friendly staff. It was a hot day, so they took a window to our room. You don't have to pay for that. Everything else in the hotel was a bit pricey. But we had a great night!

The hotel is located at a beautiful neighborhood and it is very convenient. On top of that, staffs are very helpful and friendly.

Service: The reception staff were very helpful and quick to respond to any requests. Cleanliness: The room was spotless. Environment: The overall hotel environment is pleasant, and the room layout is also very practical. Facilities: Most hotels in Switzerland have very soft pillows, but this was the only one that offered memory foam pillows, which made for a more comfortable sleep. The only downside is that if your room faces the street, you might hear the trams passing by outside.

Great hotel and position! The only downside was the bathroom did emit a smell. It wasn't overpowering, just not pleasant. It's okay when the bathroom door is shut but still there when you open it. It didn't bother me a lot but it may be something others find uncomfortable. Otherwise, a great hotel with friendly staff and very comfortable.

There is still some distance from basel sbb, about 8-10 minutes walking time, or two tram stops at the train station, which is much closer. Except that the location is not perfect, everything else is very satisfactory. I like the decoration style of the hotel. The rooms are also spacious. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and the sanitary condition is also good. The breakfast choices are mainly bread, meat, scrambled eggs, dairy products, juice and coffee. The variety is enough for me.
