GGuest UserHotel at very convenient location, providing easy access to different means of public transport. Both the public areas and rooms of the hotel are clean and brightly lit. The room is very spacious indeed, and the water in the tub is strong and hot enough.
The breakfast was on the whole good, except that there's some recurrent confusion in the order of omelettes because of seemingly poor coordination in the manpower and order-taking arrangements. Hope that could be improved.

XXiamenbiaogeThe location of the hotel is good, next to the European train station SBB, it is very convenient to travel by taxi and public transportation. The biggest problem is that there is no air-conditioning. It is only the beginning of June, and the outdoor temperature is as high as 28 degrees at noon. There is no air-conditioning indoors, and the sunlight is direct (European latitude is high, and the sun's slope is not large in summer), and the indoor temperature is as high as 34-36 degrees! I couldn't sleep at all. I asked the front desk and said that the temperature is relatively low at night and it will cool down. The room is not ventilated and it won't cool down at all! Only a small electric fan is provided, and I have no sleep all night! When booking a hotel in Europe, you must ask whether there is air conditioning. 80% of hotels in Europe do not have air conditioning, which is unbearable in summer! This is still a European four-star hotel!

Good breakfast.Issued Basel Card: free transportation and 50% discount in museums, theatres and almost everything.In the room the delicious Swiss apples waited for us. On the recession water and fruit every day.

GGuest UserIn fact, it's quite general, I was planted by Xiaohongshu.
First of all, the geographical position is far away. 20 minutes walk from Basel Station, on the other side of the river. Although most of the roads are better, the main attractions: the station, the ancient city and the Art Basel are on the river side, so it is not very convenient. I have a feeling that there is no need to go so far for this hotel
Secondly, hotel decoration. The picture of Xiaohongshu is too beautiful, and the p-graph composition is too heavy. In fact, it is more ordinary, and I live on the fourth floor. The whole aisle feels freshly painted and has a paint smell.
Finally, service. The two waitresses of check in and out are obviously squeezed out of smiles. A German brother who was on duty at night made me feel serious and enthusiastic.

GGuest UserI made a reservation through Trip.com for 1 night (2 days), but upon arrival the hotel informed me that it was booked as 2 nights (3 days), which would result in additional charges. Later, the hotel told me they would correct it to 1 night (2 days) and that no extra charges would be applied. They also took my card for deposit purposes but assured me that no payment would be made.
However, on July 14th, I was charged twice: CHF 30 and CHF 46.8. Could you please clarify why these charges were made and arrange for a refund if they were charged in error?

MM62258****This hotel in Basel exceeded my expectations; there are many tram stops nearby. The receptionists were very welcoming and chatty. The facilities are modern, with air conditioning, and the breakfast was excellent. It's over a 15-minute walk to the tram stop, so taking a taxi in the evening is probably the best option. I felt the rooms facing the street were better than those in the inner courtyard.

It's okay when the bathroom door is shut but still there when you open it. It didn't bother me a lot but it may be something others find uncomfortable. Otherwise, a great hotel with friendly staff and very comfortable.

LLIExcellent location, close to Basel landmark Zhongqiao. Choose a room with a view of the Rhine River, open the window to see passing vehicles and pedestrians on the bridge. There is also a gingerbread store next to the hotel, which is super convenient for buying souvenirs.
