Huge thanks to Nia Hotel for making my Dalat trip perfect! I stayed for three nights, and the staff were all incredibly warm and friendly. The breakfast was delicious too.
My three-night stay happened to be over Chinese New Year's Eve, the first day, and the second day of the new year, which is also Tet for Vietnamese people. It was only after coming to Da Nang that I truly appreciated the peaceful beauty of Dalat, and Nia Hotel truly enriched my memories of this trip.
Even though many shops were closed for the holiday, you could always find great food and drinks within a ten-minute walk. Just look for a restaurant with a lot of locals, and you can't go wrong.

The room was an adequate size, but a little form over function. Looked very nice but inconvenient in many ways such as a very shallow wash basin, and not many surfaces to store things. Located fairly centrally in the back-packer area, about 10 minutes walk from the night market. Breakfast was so-so for the price we paid for the room - cold eggs and coffee with food easily running out if it was a little busy.

I enjoyed the breakfast variety (especially if you like Asian breakfast) with a lot of hot dishes. Also the room was very clean and comfortable. Noise insulation from adjoining rooms and from the outside is a concern though.

Thượng Quan Uyển NhiAn Excellent and Relaxing Stay in Da Lat
Overall Rating: 9/10
I am extremely satisfied with my experience at Dalabiang Hotel. The mountain view is absolutely stunning and provides a perfectly chill atmosphere to relax. The rooms are brand new and feature beautiful interior design, complemented perfectly by a large flat-screen TV. Furthermore, the staff members are incredibly sweet, accommodating, and friendly, which made the stay even more welcoming.
There are only a couple of minor areas for improvement:
Bathroom amenities: The bathtub is a bit small, and the lack of a showerhead in the tub is a noticeable shortcoming.
Breakfast: The morning buffet is okay overall. While there are a few dishes that aren't particularly great, I believe the hotel management will recognize this and upgrade the culinary quality soon.
Despite these minor details, it was a fantastic stay, and I highly recommend Dalabiang Hotel for anyone visiting Da Lat.

ZandadarThe hotel is surrounded by forest, so there are no shops or cafes nearby. However, the hotel itself has a restaurant that's open until 10 PM, which is where we had dinner. On the premises, there's a spa, a gym, a warm indoor pool, and a large outdoor pool with a beautiful view. You can also play golf or pickleball. We managed to try pickleball – the court surface was a bit uneven in places, but it didn't stop us from having fun. It's especially enjoyable to play surrounded by mountains, forest, and fresh air.
Perhaps the hotel could indeed benefit from a small cosmetic renovation, as mentioned in other reviews. But personally, we didn't experience any discomfort: our room was spacious, very clean, odor-free, with pristine white linens and towels. The housekeeping was also excellent.
We enjoyed the breakfasts too. There's no coffee machine, but the food selection is good, and having breakfast on the terrace with a beautiful view makes the morning even more pleasant.
The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere at the hotel is calm and secluded, and the grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay at this hotel.

Sarah Jesse PretoriusStunning location, in the forest, and close to all the lakeside activities. Breakfast buffet isn't huge but has western and Vietnamese staples like bacon and eggs, pho, congee, fruit and more. Service was excellent.
Unfortunately the room was a little musty smelling and although I requested a quiet room online, they place us directly next to the restaurant which was unfortunately noisy early in the morning and spoilt the zen forest vive we were hoping for.

The location is great, right next to Xuan Huong Lake, so it feels like nowhere is too far away. Da Lat is relatively small, so taxis are easy to get around. The hotel's public facilities are also okay.
The downside is that for this price—around 250 RMB per night, which is quite expensive in Da Lat—the soundproofing in the hotel room is terrible. It's practically non-soundproof. Around 9 PM, people started checking out, and the cleaning noises were completely audible. The first night, the TV next door was also very loud; they were watching a game.
The bedding and room size are okay. The room isn't very big; it's about right for one person, but a bit cramped for two. My room type was clean and tidy, and the facilities were relatively new, so I'd still give it an overall 3.5 stars.

Mengqing Hotel boasts a great, convenient location. However, the room facilities are quite outdated and in disrepair. The bed is too low, and despite having mosquito netting on the windows, mosquitoes still manage to get into the room and bite you. The staff are very polite, but the accommodation itself leaves much to be desired.

Ольга100We stayed for 2 nights. It's clear the hotel was once very luxurious when it was built, but unfortunately, it's rapidly falling into disrepair and its condition isn't being maintained. We had a suite with a lake view. The room was large and nice, with a big wardrobe and even an electric fireplace. However, due to humidity, the furniture was swollen, the room was damp, and the toilet smelled of sewage. The cleaning quality was poor. Breakfast was average, there wasn't even a coffee machine. We paid extra for a boat ride, which we enjoyed – it was meditative and atmospheric. We also visited the hotel's mini-zoo. We felt really sorry for the animals – skinny camels, goats crammed in large numbers into a small enclosure, and ostriches with plucked wings. One of the ostriches was carrying a girl on its back; it clearly didn't like it and was very agitated, eventually throwing her off backward at speed, right into a fence. The animals' condition was very sad. The grounds are pleasant, with lots of greenery. There's construction on the opposite bank, apparently a new hotel, with many cabins under scaffolding. This, unfortunately, spoils the whole view. The attitude towards guests was excellent. Twice, a staff member came to help me, once to catch a grasshopper and another time a huge spider in the room. They respond to every request and try their best to help with everything. Overall, we liked everything, except for the dirt, dampness, and an endless number of insects in the room.
