Great
GGuest UserI accidentally booked this homestay, but I was really happy with everything, from the service to the rooms. It was very clean and they even have a cute dog named Bun!
The staff were incredibly enthusiastic and lovely. The location isn't too far from the city center either. I highly recommend it to everyone.
My only slight regret this trip was that they were doing road construction. So, if you're planning to go around this time, remember to call the homestay beforehand if you're worried about potential inconvenience. It wasn't very noisy, but a small section of the road leading in might be a bit tricky for women driving by themselves.
Otherwise, it's a perfect 10/10! The picture below is the super beautiful sunset view from my room.
LLAW LEE SHIANGI was lucky to book a room with a direct view of the lake just as I wanted, and I loved it! It has a relaxing, chill vibe like being in some fairytale land. The staff was extremely helpful, Staff handled the shuttle service, who left a strong impression on me. The room's quality is decent, and if it could improve a bit more, it would be the best in Da Lat!, will come back again!
PPandhu PidadeI stayed for two nights and arrived late at night. The Front Desk staff who welcomed me were very warm and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade, which I truly appreciated.
The resort itself is lovely, with beautiful gardens and flowers that create a relaxing atmosphere and make it enjoyable to walk around. The room was generally nice; however, there was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom, and the soundproofing could be improved as I could easily hear people talking in the corridor.
Breakfast was generally good, with a nice selection of food. The staff were attentive despite the busy hours.
The main disappointment during my stay was the inconsistency regarding the late check-out. One day before departure, I was confirmed a complimentary late check-out until 2pm, and my key card was even extended. I appreciated this gesture, especially since I had mentioned that I did not mind paying if needed. However, on the day of departure, the manager informed me that the hotel was fully booked and that the late check-out was no longer valid. Unfortunately, no alternative solution was offered, and it seemed as though there was some doubt about my confirmation. Luckily, my bags were already packed, and I was able to check out immediately.
I later sent an email to express my concern. Another manager responded politely and offered a solution and courtesy gesture, which I appreciated. However, by then I had already checked out and made alternative plans, so it was a bit too late — though I do value the effort to follow up.
I was also traveling on my birthday. While I am not someone who expects celebrations, it was a little surprising that there was no recognition at all, especially for a brand like Grand Mercure.
Overall, the resort is beautiful and the service is generally good, but better consistency in communication and service delivery would enhance the guest experience.
GGuest UserI stayed in the hotel 5 days and everything is OK, no problem. The male receptionist is quite, he supported and found me a small scooter without driving lisence so that I could explore the city happily without worrying about the police. The female receptionist is more sociable and talkative, she helped to carry my luggage uphill when I left the hotel.
GGuest UserIf you're expecting a true 5-star hotel experience, you might be slightly disappointed. They really need to improve in order to live up to a 5-star standard.
A child had scribbled on the wall with pencil, and no one had cleaned it off. There were drill holes in the bathroom wall, the shampoo was not refilled enough, there was no body lotion provided, and the refrigerator was completely empty. Our room was right next to an unfinished construction area of the hotel. The balcony was dusty and connected to other rooms, which did not feel very safe or private. Our motorbike was parked in the basement in the guest parking area, but it was frequently moved to another spot. I also tried to find the complimentary sauna, but it was only available to spa customers.
I was satisfied with the breakfast selection, which was varied and suited our taste, especially the Pho. The dining area was very crowded during peak morning hours. Our table was taken by someone else while we went to get food. The staff seemed overwhelmed and not very professional; they were somewhat sparing with their words and smiles.
We celebrated our wedding anniversary here, and the hotel prepared a small gift for us, which I truly appreciated. The location is quite convenient, close to the city center. There is a park with many beautiful flowers right in front of the hotel.
JJoanna’sOverall it was a good experience. The hotel is not quite in downtown but you can easily get to hot spots. The hotel is placed on a downhill so keep in mind if you’re not using vehicle. Some of the staff speaks English and some not, however it wasn’t an issue. Overall cleanness was fine, it’s only the bedding and towels that was a bit stained and old. The bed was fairly comfy.
GGuest UserThe hotel is very luxurious, beautiful, and clean. The staff are enthusiastic and friendly. It's quite close to Da Lat market, just over 1km away. Another plus is its proximity to the famous Tao Ngo Chicken Hotpot with É Leaves restaurant in Da Lat. You can walk there in about 50m. This was a real surprise on my trip, truly delightful!
GGuest UserDalat is a beautiful clean city
Hotel Du Parc Dalat is a great hotel of historic significance as in French influenced probably from French people lived there before as in history
I like the friendly atmosphere and hospitality of the hotel
Staffs
They are very helpful and I liked to live in this hotel
Breakfast is yummy
A variety of food - including good mix of local and continental breakfast
Good coffee and fresh milk
Generally the best way to travel in this area if you’re living in this hotel - is not difficult to walk around the city wearing a good pair of walking shoes in the late morning till early afternoon
Can walk - go to the old city centre Dalat market or walk to GO! Supermarket and sit around the lake side for a refreshing time
The weather dropped cooler and can be very cold in the evening and it is advisable to keep warm in case the sun sets earlier
Grab car is easily available
Taxi service from the hotel is reasonable and reliable for going to further places - better than using the Grab car

IIndo_backpackerzSpacious room, very clean, water cooker, soap, shampoo, coffee & tea in the room. Good bed , thick blanket, good hot shower. Breakfast is excellent, option of many vietnamese food & coffee/tea in filling portion. Staff always friendly. Recommended. Location is not in center, near traditional market, very quiet and not much food option at night.
