During my stay at Hilton Haikou, I had the pleasure of experiencing exceptional hospitality from the entire hotel team, starting from the welcoming service at the front desk (kudos to Kingsley for upgrading the room for me) to the meticulous efforts of the housekeeping team (a special thanks to Alina Shi for her extra mile gesture in providing an adapter for my laptop). I must commend the attentive service provided by William Wu at the 33rd-level breakfast restaurant, which truly enhanced my mornings and made each breakfast a delightful experience. The breakfast spread offered an extensive range of options, from local delicacies to international favorites, catering to every palate. If you booked via CTRIP攜程, you will receive a complimentary dim sum for breakfast and welcome fruits upon checkin. I will definitely be recommending Hilton Haikou to anyone visiting the area. Without a doubt, this will be my top choice for accommodation whenever I return to Haikou.

It’s a great hotel at a very good price. You would pay about three times in Europe for this convenience. The buffet restaurant has very good selection of sushi and fish and meats, and the beer is included. The Chinese restaurant is also pretty good at a reasonable price. If you need a few things for shopping, just go across the street near the Holiday Inn.

This hotel was a good find. The rooms are great, clean and spacious. The beach is the best thing it has, clean, wild, empty. Bring your own chairs because it is as empty as we show on the pics. The pools are clean and huge, lot’s of space for all guests. Beautiful gardens to walk around. The only issue was food: breakfast was really good with a ton of options for Chinese and western. However, after breakfast you will fin a Chinese restaurant call China Spice with only Chinese food and a bit pricey, the room service menu which was ridiculously overpriced or the food at the bar, which was not great. We ordered Quesadillas that had no cheese, and who knows what was inside, look at the pic of the guacamole. The pizza margarita is your best option there. The piña coladas were a good option. We gave it 4 diamonds because of the food options, you can order delivery through the Apps though, there is nothing around walking distance.

Love our stay here .. everything is perfect.. staff are welcoming around all the hotel. Room very clean and comfortable.. the location near cdf mall .. 10 mints drive. The resort is big and perfect for holidays .. just we stay during a rainy and little bit cold weather. Breakfast having a lot of variety.. we enjoy also the dinner at the hotel.

I came to this hotel during the summer of 2022, and they were working on the beach, but we still had access to it. I wanted to return because it was a very relaxing experience. I returned for the 2023 Spring Festival, and it was even better because the beach had been renovated. This trip was very relaxing and enjoyable. I would return to Haikou Shangri-La because the staff and other guests were friendly and helpful.

I was unlucky this time. It was rainy and cloudy for the past few days. I didn't expect it to be so cold in Haikou. After checking into the hotel room, I found that my room did not have air conditioning, so I discussed with the hotel whether I could change it to a room with air conditioning. Later, the hotel staff arranged a room with a kitchenette for me. Although the area was smaller than the previous one, it was warmer. The hotel also presented welcome fruits and two drinks. Although it was a bit regretful that we didn’t see the sunset due to bad weather this time, seeing the beautiful night view of the hotel was also a kind of compensation!

After having a flight delay the hotel was kind enough to give our family a late check out. Joanne at the front desk waa very helpful in getting my local telephone number activated for all the phone payments needed. Marvin helped our family find the western restaurants that made our short stay great. Pool area is excellent for toddlers to teens with a slide amd climber for the littles and basketball / volleyball nets for older kids. Highly recommend as a post island rest spot as its near to the Meilou Airport. David and 刘沁

This was one of my BEST hotel stay experiences in a LONG TIME. The staff where extremely accommodating, polite and friendly. If you are ever on Haikou, don’t look past The Langham, it’s a perfect location, the rooms are stunning (the photos don’t do them justice) and the service is second to none! I have previously stayed at the Sofitel in Haitang Bay a few times so am quite familiar with their style and service and I have to say Sofitel. haikou actually exceeded my expectations. Considering it is just in a tall building, they've done a very good job to give it a 'resort' feel. They've achieved this through really excellent customer service and with decent facilities. The rooftop pool is nice and has sunbeds around the side (not really visible in the photos). I always value a gym in a hotel and I am a lift weights alot and I would say this is one of the best hotel gyms I've been to that isn't an actual commercial gym. It has a good enough range of equipment for anyone who regularly goes to the gym. We also had the club access and the ladies who worked in the clubroom, Kristy and Shirley were excellent and very friendly and accommodating. The level of English was also very good and I also appreciated that reception allowed me to check out at 4pm at no extra cost, which is always a good representation of customer service. Would recommend if you want resort vibes in the middle of the city.

I like Hongyantang and like her 🥰. The hotel is very close to the sea. Enjoy the sunrise on the balcony of the room. Enjoy the sunset by the sea. If you want to have more time to see the mysterious sea blowing the sea breeze, you can choose this hotel. From lobby service to room service, we feel very comfortable ～ Thank you for your hospitality. I will come to Hongyantang next time I come to Haikou.

Special mention is made of Longquan's breakfast. The room includes two breakfast packages. There are Chinese and Western styles. The portion is large and the product is good. It is rare that croissants and meal bags are freshly baked, hot and soft. Haikou's relatives like Longquan's American breakfast the most. With a cup of Blue Mountain coffee, the taste has not changed for decades. We didn't choose Hainan powder package, in the nearby Longquan hot pot restaurant, we tasted coconut chicken, not bad.
