Location was difficult to find, the service at the desk can be considered fair, not so good enough, the toilet drainage quite slow after taking a shower, but anyways the room was worth with the price, loved the city view.

The rest of the room was fine, but the sound insulation was very poor. I stayed for two nights in total. The first night I stayed on the seventh floor. The restaurant was upstairs and I could hear the noise of chairs being dragged around. On the second night, I was transferred to the sixth floor. Due to the noise of children in the corridor, the knocking on the door of the deliveryman, and especially the sound of people talking next door, I made a second complaint call, and it didn't quiet down until twelve o'clock at night. The sound insulation effect is so poor! ! !

It's very close to the subway station. Just after exit A of Houchaomen is the subway station. It's very convenient to take the subway. You don't have to carry your suitcases around. Both Hangzhou South Station and Hangzhou Station can be directly accessed by Line 5. The room is relatively small, but it's okay. After all, the address and the price are already very good. For a 1.3-meter bed, my 22-inch suitcase can be fully unfolded. There is no dry and wet separation in the bathroom, so it is easy to get watery. The sound insulation is really not good, you can clearly hear the snoring in the next room. It is more suitable for special forces to go out to play and people with good sleep quality. The room will be cleaned every day by an aunt, and the sister at the front desk is also nice and enthusiastic. When it rains and I lose my umbrella, I will take the initiative to lend it to me. Hangzhou is really beautiful! ! ! West Lake is so beautiful, but it is really a food desert. The food there seems to be nothing special and the prices are very expensive.

We stayed at Hefang Hotel for 2 nights in the Cozy Room and besides the fact everything went smoothly, the hotel is, in fact, low quality. - Room: Bad. The room is quite small, needs some maintenance and a deep cleaning. There is a window but it does not open properly. The mold smell is very strong and you can feel the humidity as soon as you enter. The walls, mirrors, floor and the room in general has not been cleaned properly for a long time. So it really looks like a cheap and dirty place, which makes it not comfortable at all (you can’t see that on the pictures from the hotel). We even asked at the reception if they could change us to a different room, in an upper floor, but they said there wasn’t any available. - Breakfast: Reasonable, but not great. There is dumplings, noodles, sweet potatoes, eggs, sausage, some cakes and one type of fruit. No drinking options at all (I mean, no coffee, tea, milk, juice, water, etc.! We asked) Also, the breakfast time is from 7h00 - 9h30 but they don’t replace the food so if you arrive around 9h probably you won’t find much (we asked for more fruit and they said that they didn’t have it). Tables and chairs were not clean. Amenities: Good. Nice common area on the 1st floor where you can hangout and have your own meals. Location: Great! Near the most famous street where you can find some tradicional shops and a lot of restaurants. If you plan to stay in this hotel we suggest you to make sure your room is on the 2nd floor and without breakfast included.

This hotel won our hearts by its close proximity to the railway station/subway and the hotel good customer service. We are impressed by the level of responsiveness of the staff to our needs, and the hotel staff are very observant, giving us extra bottle of water in our stay, a gift of fruits on our last night (without us asking). Thanks to Sam and Alan at the reception who provide excellent customer service support and the housemaid who did a good job in maintaining the room's cleanliness. We feel very at home. The buffet style breakfast provide both local and western choices. I love the place. It is very near to the metro station that link directly to the railway station I was taking. Long the street, there are many shops where I walk walk around and shopping. Further down maybe 10mins walk, there are many shops selling snacks and souvenir stuff. It gets very lively at night. Can walk down even further to get to 大马弄 dama lane for breakfast. There is this 煎饺 stir fried dumplings very nice (泮芳春煎饺) get there early as it will get very crowded. There is another deep fried fish slice is very nice too (大马弄蒋师傅酥鱼) nice too. Overall the hotel is quite good. And if you order delivery, they have this robot to delivery to your room. 👍

Environment: beyond my expectations Service: Not too good at all, I hope it can always be like this The overall feeling is really beyond my imagination because after all, the price is here, but the room hygiene and service are much better than the average five-star hotel. Highly recommended

A very new hotel. Very clean and bed also very comfortable. About 10-15mins walk from the metro station. There are a lots of food around and also can walk to West Lake around 15-20mins. If want to go other attractions places it is very easy to take the public busses around. Toilet very clean. Cleaning lady and man always on standby to clean. The room might be a bit small but everything is there. Bed is very comfy and soft. The centralised aircond system is very good so you have good ventilation although you are taking the bunk bed type. The common area also very big. Only 1 cons is the wall maybe a bit thin, if there are people who kinda selfish talking loud at the corridor you will have to bear with it and if happen your next door neighbour is snoring you might heard about it but all this can be settle by the earplug. Overall its very good and nice hostel with the price.

Hotel is very well located to the West Lake. Approx 15 mins walk. It is close to the night market and also a number of food halls. There is a coffee shop right downstairs on the right hand side of the hotel which makes great coffee. There is also 7/11 shop. Metro is also downstairs less than a min walk away. First impression checking in wasn’t great - English on checking in was difficult. Probably due to slight language barrier felt not as warmly welcomed as other hotels. I expect hotels that receive foreigners should have basic level check in. They also were very particular on how who should go into each of the three rooms but I said it we will sort this out between us. After that it was fine we went to our rooms. Rooms are quite outdated and could do with a bit of an upgrade especially with handles coming loose. Rooms come with bath robes, tooth brush, toothpaste, combs, Ted Baker toiletries (shampoo, conditioner and shower gel) and slippers. They also provide water bottles daily and there are ones you can take free as you head out towards the lift which is a nice touch. The hotel housekeeping staff were the best despite language barrier they were very polite, courteous and professional. Very helpful as well. There was a housekeeping lady who came to help us with wifi as we did not have a China mobile number and she also knew we had three rooms booked. She helped with two of the rooms and asked if the other room needed help but they didn’t. There isn’t much of a place where guest can relax as they come back to the hotel. There is a small space on the left hand side as you enter the hotel which has a football table, toy dispenser machines, limited seating area. For anyone who wants good location to West Lake I would say this is it. However I think there are better hotels out there. Closeness to food and restaurants is a bonus. Rooms are clean but could do with an upgrade. It’s weird to have a window in the shower room that is directly onto the room as doesn’t give much privacy if all lights on. Overall 8/10
