Special reminder 1: Most Vietnamese hotels do not provide paper slippers! They are all rubber slippers that can be used many times like the one in the wardrobe below! Fellow Chinese people, please bring your own slippers according to your needs!
Special reminder 2: Vietnam basically uses European standard two-pin sockets, remember to buy a converter in advance
The lobby staff is very enthusiastic and will take the initiative to help with luggage. There are welcome drinks and towels while waiting for check-in. They took me all the way to the room, and there are welcome fruits in the room
Communication in English is basically no problem. The staff are all good at English and speak fluently, much better than me who took the CET-6 twice
The overhead water pressure in the shower room is very high, and it is very comfortable to take a shower
The Wifi speed is relatively slow, which will be more difficult if you want to play domestic mobile games, but the access speed of mainstream domestic SNS and video platforms is within an acceptable range
Breakfast is on the inside of the lobby on the first floor. There are not many buffet options, but Pho is delicious, just order from the waiter. I personally recommend beef.
Note that if you order coffee, it will be charged separately, 2 US dollars a cup, about 15 RMB, which is expensive in Hanoi.
When I went to have breakfast before, the child at the next table had a birthday. The waiter brought a small cake and sang a birthday song. The service awareness was full.
The hotel is in a good location in the old town. There are several famous check-in spots: Hanoi Train Street, Hanoi Cathedral (the cathedral will ring the bell every hour, it is recommended to go every hour), Hoan Kiem Lake, Lenin Park (the Chinese Embassy is next to Lenin Park, you can go and see it if you are interested), Hanoi Flag Tower, One Pillar Pagoda, Thang Long Imperial Citadel and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum are all very close and can be reached on foot.

Excellent location in the heart of the old quarter of the city. The room was clean and well decorated. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful; they helped me to organise a spa treatment and taxi to the airport. I had an early flight which meant that I was too early for breakfast on my final day, but they organised a takeaway breakfast for me that morning. A wonderful place to stay in Hanoi.

Wasn’t even allowed to fly to Vietnam, so I’m not sure why Trip.com is asking for a review and also emailing me about my stay. Spoke with several “relevant departments” overall. I had to call O’Gallery directly three times to try and sell the room because both Trip and O’Gallery said each other had policies preventing any sort of refund on this Tripp of 11 bookings and 7000RMB PREPAID (Room 1600RMB). I am still waiting on if they sold the room or were willing to compromise a refund, and just for this hotel no one is budging on assistance even though Shenzhen Airlines is at fault. Pictures of Shenzhen Airlines screenshots preventing travel (7 hours at airport fighting the disaster).
