Manxin Hotel Hotels in Harbin

I stayed at the Manxin Hotel Harbin Gogol Street for five nights straight, and my experience completely exceeded expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Harbin! The hotel's location is superb, right on Gogol Street. It's within walking distance of the Qiulin business district, and a quick taxi ride to Central Street and Saint Sophia Cathedral. There are plenty of morning markets and restaurants nearby, making it super convenient for exploring and dining without much hassle. The room was spotless, and I loved the smart voice control for everything. The zero-pressure mattress was incredibly soft and comfortable for sleeping, and the bathroom had excellent water pressure. They refilled complimentary fruits and drinks daily. The staff were all so gentle and attentive, and they responded quickly to any requests. The self-service laundry and gym were incredibly practical. The breakfast buffet offered a rich selection of both Western and Chinese dishes, including local specialties. The lobby's design is exquisite and perfect for photos, with a great ambiance for coffee during the day and drinks at night. My five-day stay was comfortable from start to finish. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a high-quality rest. It's suitable for both long trips and short stays. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Harbin!

First off, let's talk about the location – it's absolutely fantastic! Every morning, I'd open the curtains to a direct view of St. Sophia Cathedral. Right across the street is Daoli Market, and there are all sorts of delicious eateries nearby. Central Street isn't far either! I always stay here whether I'm on a business trip or vacation. I studied at university in Harbin and really love this city, and I particularly enjoyed the hotel's style! The hygiene and facilities are excellent too. But what really stood out was the service – the front desk staff, both the handsome guys and beautiful ladies, and the housekeeping aunties were all wonderful. They were very friendly and incredibly helpful. They patiently handled parcel deliveries for the hotel, which was a huge plus. Also, the washing machine and dryer were great; they got everything washed and dried quickly, all done in about an hour. If you don't want to wait, you can leave a note, and the front desk and service aunties will help collect your laundry and put it into a clean bag. I took a picture of the hotel breakfast. The restaurant isn't huge, but it has everything you need. It's more cost-effective to book it with the room; if you add it separately, it's 68 RMB, which isn't the best value compared to other breakfast prices in Harbin, but the dining environment is definitely 👌. It's located in the Old Mo Western Restaurant on the first floor. I also had Western food at the restaurant once, and the service was very good and nice!

The room size was sufficient, and the TV actually worked well. The soundproofing was excellent; it was quiet every night, and I couldn't hear the neighbors using their phones or watching TV. The curtains were exceptionally good at blocking out light – the room was still dark at 8:30 AM. The front desk staff were also very friendly; they even asked if I wanted a bottle of water when I checked out. The mini-fridge drinks were free and replenished once consumed. Breakfast was served until 11 AM, which is perfect for late risers. The restaurant isn't huge, but it has everything you need. The freshly made rice noodles (not regular noodles) were smooth and delicious, especially with the spicy meat sauce and vinegar – it really woke up my taste buds. The fried noodles were fragrant and savory, a little firm, just how I like them. I could eat a lot of them; they reminded me of the street food stalls I used to visit in Sanya over ten years ago. For kids, there were small wontons, braised pork rice, and dumplings, all satisfying. The vegetable salad looked visibly fresh, and items were replenished promptly. The small red cakes were delicious; I could easily eat four. All the breakfast options were shown in the pictures. There was plenty for everyone, from young to old, to have a satisfying meal. Of course, those with very high expectations for breakfast might find it a bit lacking, but for this price point, I think it's pretty good.

First of all, the hotel is easy to find, has private parking, and the staff are attentive, warm, and polite. They even came out to give us a souvenir when we checked out. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a more spacious and clean room with complimentary fruit. The toilet was also smart, and it's close to the Ice and Snow World by car. Everything was great, but why didn't I give it a full five stars? Because the air conditioning was off; there was only an electric heater. In Harbin, where it's below -20 degrees Celsius, the large floor-to-ceiling windows of the upgraded room let in drafts, and the lack of air conditioning was unbelievable. My hands and feet were freezing all night. I'm from Liaoning, and it's worse than my home with its underfloor heating; my home temperature is 26 degrees Celsius, while the hotel was only 21 degrees... Can anyone understand the despair of returning to the hotel after visiting the Ice and Snow World and not daring to take a hot shower?
