A lovely property, helpful with arrival times and adjusting my booking when I messed up my dates. If you're looking for a great value stay in Harrogate you can't go wrong with this one. If you're using the Harrogate Conference Centre then its perfect - just across the road. I'll be returning here. Highly recommend. Paul.

It was an excellent stay at The Camberley where we were booked on a Bed and Breakfast basis for 3 nights. The welcome and registering were done very professionally. I had booked direct. An important feature of this establishment is the parking it offers to the customers. Parking in Harrogate can be a problem, but the location of the hotel in relation to the centre of town is so central that we could leave the car parked there and walked to town- very handy. The room was very clean with comfortable bed and pillows. The shower room was a 'walk in' type and flow of water excellent. If there was one bleep during the stay, it would be the location of the room on the top floor which for older people like us, may prove steep. Nonetheless this didn't spoil our stay. The breakfast was copious and for someone who is fussy about his fried eggs, the chef got it right every morning. Overall and based on price, cleanliness, accommodation, location and efficiency The Camberley earns an excellent review from my wife and I

I travelled to Harrogate for the Theatre, to see a comedy show with friends. The free parking and close location to the town centre where the main reason for choosing The Camberley. It's a lovely hotel, very clean, with a nice, friendly atmosphere. The staff where very friendly and helpful. My room (3)was on the top floor, it had a four poster bed, which I didn't expect. The room was small but comfortable and it felt quite upmarket. Really nicely decorated, it had a boutique feel to it.The ensuite was nice and clean, a toilet, wash basin and a shower cubicle with dark wood style panels, made a nice change from the usual white.Shower has an adjustable handset. Electric, simple to use and good water pressure. Towels where nicely folded, placed on the bed.The room had a chair, table with tea and coffee facilities, a mini fridge, open rail clothes hanger and a couple of bedside drawers with lamps on. An old style column radiator which I didn't need as it was warm outside. The view from the window overlooked the car park at the rear of the property with trees and the residential street behind. Overall, a really nice, comfortable room. The toilet was very close to the wall, my knees could touch it when sitting, but it was a small ensuite. The buildings in Harrogate are old and beautiful. People didn't need large rooms back then. You come to Harrogate for it's period charm.

We got a short notice booking at The Camberley in order to visit a Motability event at the Yorkshire Show ground, then meet up with family. The Camberley was our choice of accommodation as it was in a convenient point between the 2. The room at The Camberley, although small was sufficient for our need, a. It was on the ground floor, my wife is handicapped and finds stairs difficult. b it had everything we expected in a hotel room. and everything worked. c. It was competitively priced. d. Plenty of off-street parking is available. e. Staff were more than helpful, nothing seemed to faze them. f. A very tasty and ‘made to order’ breakfast is available at a very reasonable price. And, it is sooooo close to the centre of town.

This is the second time staying at the Camberley, last time 13 months ago. Nothing to complain about only a few little things if i was being picky. Its great to see that the rooms have been updated stayed in room 2 this time which was really nicely decorated, bright and modern, lovely comfy bed and pillows, comfortably heated not drab as room 10 was 13 months ago! Tea and coffee in room but no little biscuit this time and no artificial sweeteners either in the room or downstairs where the spares are kept. No where to hang wet towels, needed some extra hooks in the bathroom, lovely toiletries in the bathroom too. Nice little fridge in the room to keep your own fresh milk and drinks in etc. Didn't stay for breakfast this time so unable to comment, though have to say very disappointed that the price has doubled in the last 13 months which may make me look at other places next time as after all it is only, but a very nice B & B with the convenience of its own car park. Lovely friendly owner obliged to let us check in early.

We stayed for two nights with a voucher in, I believe, a budget room which was quirky but we would want better for a longer stay. The en-suite was tiny, I have bruises from the toilet roll holder. One bed had a roll-into-the-middle mattress The cold breakfast was included and suited us. I had porridge too and gluten free cereal and bread were provided for my husband. Free car park and EV chargers great. The b and b is just minutes walk from restaurants, shops and the town centre. Kim, our hostess, was friendly and obliging. Better than average, just not a great room.

Enjoyed staying here. Rooms are kept beautifully clean and have everything you need and expect. The breakfasts are delicious. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I plan to come and stay again as I didn't have time to explore Harrogate fully enough on this visit because of attending a conference literally across the road. Just all perfect.

Just arrived home from an overnight stay. I can't say enough about this wonderful place. Our room (2) was beyond excellent with stylish furniture - everything we could wish for - the bathroom was also very stylish, everywhere was spotlessly clean, comfy bed and lovely white bedding. Toiletries in the room were really nice, tea and coffee were plentiful. Breakfast was very good - loved the snazzy toaster!!! lots of choice and quality food including the bread which was lovely. We would definitely stay again - lovely hosts and staff!!
