when you are in the “Middle of Nowhere?” Surrounded by the Sahara Desert sand dunes you should appreciate this oasis. Maybe the room lights are dim. Maybe the internet is weak or non-existent. Maybe the breakfast is not 5-star. Maybe the water will quit working. But the staff works hard to take care of your every request. Very spacious rooms have air conditioning 😇 The two swimming pools are inviting. It’s a place where you can camel ride. What more do you want?

Our desert stay at Kasbah Des Dunes and the the Camp was one of our highlights of the whole Marocco tour. The hotel was super pretty, cozy and our host Jousef was super nice and prepared the best food we ever had :) I would like to give him 10 stars but there are only 5 possible. Also the desert tour with the camels and the overnight camp stay were absolutely worse it. Our guide was super nice and the camp was silent and cozy. We were the only tourists at the camp these day and had beautiful moments of nature silence as well as some music at the campfire with berber music and drums. I can really recommend it. :)
