Hotel Rose Heidelberg Inklusive Frühstück & Saunanutzung

The Hotel Rose in Heidelberg, or rather in the suburb of Rohrbach, is centrally located with very good public transport connections to Heidelberg. The hotel is located on two sides of a major traffic junction. Parking spaces for guests in the inner courtyard are available for €5 per day, which is very cheap, since parking spaces are literally rare. From the outside, the Hotel Rose is fairly simple, but like the shell, the real treasure is inside. Reception Reception: After you have parked your vehicle in the courtyard, go to the small reception where you have to ring the bell and Ms. Reese will come immediately as her office is a little to the rear. You are served in a friendly and competent manner and you have to fill out the usual papers, guests who can arrive later in the night receive their room keys via the “night box”. Rooms: We had room 3 on the ground floor, which was a standard double room, and I have to say we were more than pleasantly surprised, the beds and furniture as well as the bathroom were new, the room was extremely clean, the bathroom was a bit small, but still very good and usable . No air conditioning but a ceiling fan that did its job very well. The bed was extremely comfortable and what I and my wife really liked was that everyone had their own blanket to snuggle into. We slept very well! For smokers there are 2 options in the courtyard, 1x covered with a comfortable seating lounge or right outside at the reception without a roof. Breakfast: The breakfast room is like the little pearl of the house, you feel right at home, because you have the feeling of sitting in the living room at home, a pleasure, breakfast is fun without the noise that you often find in these concrete blocks . Everything is quiet and leisurely, no rush, no loud shouting, although there were many guests in the dining room. Breakfast itself, simple and not overloaded Fresh lukewarm rolls of different types, bread, sausage, cheese, cereals of different types, jam, honey, boiled eggs in various stages of cooking, fried eggs are freshly prepared on request... honestly, nothing was missing . We were more than satisfied with our stay at the Hotel Rose, and when we checked out we only got the little bonus, since we had booked directly on the hotel website, we got a 6% discount, so we got our courtyard parking lot for free, so to speak. Criticism: None! But here I would like to take a stand for the Hotel Rose, various people here write a lot of nonsense about the hotel... they should rather look for the faults in themselves. E.g. about noise! The hotel has put a lot of money into noise protection, special noise protection windows with shutters, so that you hardly hear any street noise. Neither does the tram, as several here claim... sure, if you leave the windows open it's clear you're projecting all the traffic noise into the room, so that's not the Ho's problem
