First of all during this critical moments in the world due to the COVID 19 safety it’s out of great importance! This hotel has it, all personal where wearing masks and everyone is responsible. Very professional and friendly hotel personnel, I had a shower head problem and Hotel tech arrived in a min, replace it in the blink of an eye. I felt welcome safe and take good care of. With this review I would like to thank all the hotel stuff for doing such a great job and hope to see you again on my next booking.

We were so glad to see this fully renovated hotel open in time for our visit to the Heidelberg Christmas Market (original opening date was projected for the end of December). The Hilton Heidelberg is an incredible facility, surpassed only by the amazing team working to provide the best possible experience! We have never been so graciously welcomed by so many on the team, including the General Manager, Remmie. Margarita and Katerina took great care of us during check in and were even able to upgrade us to a Junior Suite - what a welcome surprise! After settling in to our room, we had the pleasure of meeting Lubeth in the Executive Lounge who took care of every need and made us feel so welcome - always with a smile! The management team is definitely committed to hiring the best, but they are also clearly committed to leading by example. Vladimir (the restaurant manager) made a point of introducing himself and checking to be sure we were enjoying our stay and Sonja was so gracious when we were visiting the restaurant. Brent stopped by while we were in the Executive Lounge to be sure we were enjoying our visit and asked if there was anything he could do to help. Tim (a Heidelberg local) took time to share some of his favorite spots around town, as well as the hotel amenities and make sure we made the most of our time in town! I cannot remember another hotel stay where I could name more than 1-2 people on the staff - this team truly made us feel welcomed and valued! Thank you for a such a great experience!

The hotel was undergoing an upgrade so the room we checked in to was new and refreshed. The hotel cafe had a good spread for breakfast. The staff were very friendly and gave us recommendations to visit around the area. Volk was particularly helpful.

The hotel was easy to reach from the Autobahn and there is enough parking space by the hotel. The parking is free and the rooms are nice, modern and big enough. The breakfast is OK and enough variety. We booked a second night, the staff is very nice and helpful. There is a tram nearby to get into town. We walked wich was a nice walk but far - therefor the old town is spread out a long woy. We took a ”lime scooter” back to the hotel - wich was fun - there a plenty room on the bikepathes. The hotel is nice and quited and the beds where good there I would recommend it. There is 24 hours check-in available.

This beautifully situated hotel offers outstanding customer service, with excellent dining options, and magnificent views of the Neckar River. Everything is immaculate and there is great attention to detail. The walk into town is lovely, or you can take a short taxi ride. Make sure to visit the breakfast buffet, it has options for everyone and is the best I have experienced during my forty years of travel.

We traveled by train so this hotel was perfect, very short walk from the main station, maybe 150 feet. We did not know check in was 3:00 so paid 15€ to check in early taking a lesser room for the same price. IBIS allows early check in / late checkout for a 90€ annual fee. Breakfast was basic so we skipped that. Unfortunately McDonalds next door closed about 4 months earlier. As for lunch, the Thai restaurant (Asia Box) in the main station was very good and there is a grocery store in the station too. Our room on the 1st floor was small but clean with 2 beds. The bathroom was very small but this is the only room we saw. Street noise was minimal. Train, tram and bus lines converge here so you cant beat the location. I suspect they have parking for a fee but because we arrived by train, I am not sure.

We managed to find an open table along the popular street “Hauptstrasse.” There is also seating inside. The restaurant is actually called Ritterstube at Hotel Ritter. It was a beautiful early June day filled with the ambiance of the street and across from the scenic church, Heilggeistkirche. We thought our service was just fine, prompt and friendly. We first ordered cold beers. I did have a sausage with sauerkraut and potatoes with mustard on the side. Everything was delicious. We were there well over an hour and enjoyed every minute.

In the downtown commercial street, but very quiet, the environment is very good, many restaurants

Wir haben das Hotel zum Entspannen und wegen der tollen Aussicht gebucht.. Es gab viel Schönes aber auch einige Dinge,die verbessern könnte.. zunächst die positiven Sachen.. Das Panoramazimmer war schön ,komfortabel and sehr ansprechend gestaltet. Die Austattung war sehr gut.. Das Bett sehr bequem und hoch. Was besonders war,dass wir zwei Fenster hatten,da wir das letzte Zimmer hatten(Raum 221).. Die Aussicht war ebenso wunderbar.. Wir haben abends an der Bar Cocktails getrunken,die ebenso sehr gut waren. DerService hier war auch sehr nett. Weiterhin fanden wir die gebuchte Sauna für eine Stunde sehr angenehm. Wir hatte zwei Nächte gebucht und am zweiten Abend einDreigangmenü. Die Qualität war hier richtig gut. Das Essen war auch gut angerichtet und gut geschmeckt. Das gesamt Hotel ist schön gestaltet und gemütlich . Checkout war schnell/unkompliziert und freundlich .. Das Frühstück war ok aber für 20€ kenne ich das tatsächlich weitaus besser. Diese Sachen fand ich nicht gut 👎.. Der Checkin war ok aber hätte freundlicher sein können .. Der Herr konnte nur schlecht deutsch. Infos bezüglich wo ist das Frühstück..wie funktioniert das mit der Sauna.. musste man sich selbst erfragen. Der sog Hotelmanager,der ebenso anwesend war,war ebenso nicht freundlich und wirkte sogar teilweise arrogant. Das Zimmer war wie oben beschrieben zwar schön aber es hätte an einigen Stellen sauberer sein können ( Flecken an der Balkontür/vergilbter Vorhang/Staub/Haare unter dem Bett.. billiger und schmutziger Fön,der nicht zum Rest passt.. Shampoo ( kostet 19€ ist also hochwertig) passt nicht so ganz. Beim Frühstück nur Kaffee aus der Kanne,kein Automat. Auswahl zu gering ..Für Veganer kein Angebot. Beim Abendessen ebenso Personal,was einem nicht sagen konnte,was es als Menü gab und das nach mehrmaligem Nachfragen. Personal konnte kaum deutsch. Das muss/könnte besser sein. Auch beim Frühstück hat uns niemand vom Personal gefragt ,ob wir Kaffee möchten. Das finde ich nicht gut. Ich finde eben Service und Freundlichkeit wichtig… Schade.. Dennoch empfehle ich das Hotel aufgrund seiner Lage..
